Phở Viet is Fuego. This place has some amazing Viet food while also having the dankest boba tea and for all of you southern folk who don’t know what boba tea is don’t ask a question and just try it. The strawberry mango tea with boba balls is a life changer.

Have eaten here a number of times now and really enjoy it. The service is always great. Food is out quick at lunch or dinner. It’s not super fancy but it’s good food. Haven’t had a bad menu item in 6 tries. Good value for the portion too.

Service is mediocre because during lunch they only had two waiting on customers. I also got a to-go order for a friend and they forgot some items that we had paid for, so after getting to the car we had to go back and wait even longer. The menu is not as extensive as the Decker location but the food tastes the same to me.

They can do a lot to make this a better restaurant. Broth — just not as tasty as others and oddly put too many noodles in the bowl. it seems like they’re missing star anise or cinnamon What’s in the broth — the fat on the beef in my soup was grossly yellow. I picked out all of it Accoutrement — the sprouts looked a little gross and they didn’t offer thai basil Price — $ 2 more expensive than Atlanta prices The service was adequate, but they need to up their game on their phở since it’s the name of their restaurant.

So much food, so little money! This is my husband’s and my go-to when we want something quick and healthy. There are plenty of vegetarian options which is great for me. On cold days, I recommend their soups. Yum!

Food was delicious and our server Diem looked even more delicious. Such a cute, personable server with a killer smile and an even better sense of humor. I keep coming back to see her but she’s never there. Whatever, Ill try again next week

This place is actually not bad. I had the mixed fried rice and my friend had the special beef phở. The meat in the friend rice was a little meh… It was a little dry and I wasn’t 100% sure what it was. However, it tasted ok. The dish as a whole was actually really good. The serving was very generous — enough for lunch the next day. My friend loves Phở. So his was gone in seconds. He had a similar complaint about the meat in his phở, but said overall it was really yummy. We’ll be back.

The vege tofu rolls for an appetizer were good. The phở soup was also good. It needed salt or more seasoning but it was tasty. The atmosphere is not high class. It is not warm and inviting. The service was acceptable. If you want phở soup in Columbia his is your place.

I love this place. I am vietnamese and this place is very close to my mom’s(don’t tell her). My mom even liked it. The staff has always been very accomodating and when I miss home, I come here.

Ate here today twice with my friend and I will totally be back for more! I have been here before once but was too scared to try the phở. Instead I had the sautéed chicken with rice and it was kind of bland and spicy at the same time. I walked away unimpressed at the time. However today was totally different! My friend really wanted boba so we stopped in and got one with taro and one with Thai tea. They were so good! I’m glad I finally know where to get bubble tea. The place on Pendleton that used to be around was awful so I was convinced that there was no good bubble tea in Columbia but now I know otherwise! Anyway, later in the day my friend had a hankering for phở so we returned for dinner. I was really nervous about trying phở for the first time because the dining hall at my college had phở and I thought it was horrible. However with a little help from our very nice waitress my fears were assuaged! I ordered the phở ga(chicken phở) and I LOVED it! It comes with a plate of toppings and I dumped the whole thing in and added a little hoisin and Sriracha. It was delicious! I’m glad to have experienced a new cuisine. We also ordered the vegetarian spring rolls as an appetizer and we were not very impressed with them. They were mediocre. But the phở was super tasty! Would definitely recommend people try this food out. As to why only 4 stars: The place is in need of renovations and repair. The table we sat at had a large piece of the top layer missing/broken off. The booth seats have large rips and holes. It’s similar to much of Five Points in terms of condition, but it doesn’t have to be that way. It’s just grimy in the way that only comes from years of abuse. The bathroom was ridiculously tight– you would probably have to sit down on the toilet before closing the door and would have to open the door before getting up. The facilities are disappointing in contrast with the stellar food.

This place sucks. I was sooo hungover… I thought some broth would cure it… I didn’t expect much from a place in South Carolina for good Vietnamese food… but THISISJUSTAWFUL. The phở sucked. The vermicelli sucked. The spring rolls sucked. The meatballs weren’t even real meatballs… WHY didn’t I just go around the corner to the cute place where it was packed? :\ Not to mention. the service was SOOOOOOOOSLOWWWW… $ 40 for crappy Vietnamese food? Never again

Very good phở and bubble tea! Service can be a bit slow, depending on when you’re there, but still not too long of a wait. Not very many places for phở in Columbia, but luckily this one has good food! Also, great prices for a lot of food! I recommend the chicken or the rare steak phở with rice noodles(but I’m sure everything is delicious!)

Used to love going here but has increasingly continued to get worse with each visit. Horrible service and an absolutely disgusting dining room, honestly scared to know what the kitchen looks like. The meat is dry and tastes like it’s been sitting out for hours. Unfriendly and lazy service. Sad to see a local phở business go so downhill. Definitely would not recommend and will probably never return

Not bad. Its MSG content is the only one in town that gives me a noticeable headache, so I’ve learned to avoid it. I prefer Menkoi Ramen if I’m in the mood for a soup.

Meh… I’ve had much better phở. It’s definitely not worth waiting on the service for such underwhelming food.

Found a hair in my food and then the waitress proceeded to tell me it was mine and make me pay for the meal. Safe to say it was not mine and we left. Never going back.

Best Vietnamese food in Columbia, no doubt. It may not be the cleanest place in the world, but it’s truly a «mom and pop» spot. I eat here often. Both locations are owned by a husband and wife I believe. Excellent customer service. If you’re in the mood for a bun or some good phở, this is where it’s at in Soda City.

I’ve been here a few times and first off the bat was disappointed with the service. Secondly, the phở was okay. Nothing amazing, nothing to write home about. Except, when they served us shredded cabbage with the phở. No basil, no bean sprouts, no jalepeno, just shredded cabbage, what? The other dishes were okay.. .I felt the food was lacking flavor and kind of bland. It might be the audience they are catering to. I’d go again because Phở is a comfort food of sorts, but I’d rather take my money to Menkoi Ramen when I’m craving Asian noodles.

It’s as good as it gets for your buck! Although the area needs renovating, but the food makes up for it.

I’m ready for it to cool off in Columbia, so my wife will also have my Phở Viet craving. The Phở is to die for. I like the chicken garlic broth with the ramen style noodles. Add the hoisin sauce, and the jalapenos. SOGOOD. I also love the garlic and black pepper tofu. This isn’t a phở dish. It is dry noodles with pretty much what the name says. The tofu is cooked perfectly every time. I’ve heard the Decker location is better, but I’m not sure it could be so much better to drive there, as this place is great!
