Husband ordered a burger and I got chicken tenders. We also came for Wednesday .40 cent boneless wing night and the boneless wings were big and crunchy! We had Cajun rub and garlic Parmesan and they were both really good flavors. Only downfall would be how attentive the waiter was. We probably waited 10 or more minutes before he acknowledged us and we’ve since finished our meals. He was really friendly though! Ultimately, the food was really good! A little pricey but good.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this sports bar restaurant. I had the Post Call burger with wing chips, and it was fantastic. My wife had the grilled chicken with fries, and she was amazed. They have a very unique iced sweet tea, that has a honey flavor to it, very delicious. We also had the boneless wings with garlic parmesean, and it was excellent. The draft beer was very good, cold and in a frosted glass. They have many food and drink specials. Live music on specific days, great atmosphere. The staff is outstanding and extremely pleasant. This is a football fans dream with plenty of large flat screen tv’s. Another Dallas Cowboys hangout, yes!!!

The service and food is awful! We decided to give the place one more try after a few awful visits in the past. Never again! I just hope we don’t get sick from the under cooked chicken. Several of us didn’t even eat our meals because we were scared of the chicken after a few bad pieces that one of the people with us was served.

Last call for post call. Service and food subpar! Three different management team changes and no obvious improvements. Wings were under cooled with no flavor. They took them away refried them and brought them back to the table. Did not return with the right number of wings. And $ 8 top shelf margarita, with no trace of tequila. And they had TABLESALT on the rim.

Overall place was a bit below average. We came in on a Sunday night, and the place was empty except for one other table. Our server was okay, but she could have done better. She only checked on us a few times. The food, well, I’ve had better. We both ordered burgers. Overall, the burgers we cooked just fine(a nice medium). But they were under seasoned, falling apart on the bun. And well overall just tasted bland. The fires we were served were drenched in salt, I barely ate half of them. For the price of $ 12, I’ve had better burger less. Overall, wouldn’t reocmmend this place.

Ordered a jack/coke and chips and salsa. I received the weakest jack and coke I’ve ever had, an enormous bowl of chips and a tiny dish of Pace Picante Sauce(seriously, how hard is it to make a quick fresh salsa?). The icing on the cake was the black chunks of burnt crud from the fryer that was all over the chips. Bad food, bad service, what a shame, could be a good spot.

We heard that the place was hopping on the first Thursday night USC football game so we decided to go that Friday night. It was about 8 pm so we figure we should catch the last crowd. We got right in, and there were only 2 tables with guests. We’re the 3rd. We figured we’d patronize our local neighborhood business. We ordered the Buffalo Shrimp appetizer and buffalo wings platter. Nothing complicated. We waited and waited for the food until another server(not ours) asked if we were still waiting for our food. And he said he’d check. Don’t know what happened to our server? 5 minutes later, someone from the kitchen came out and said they were having ventilation problem in the kitchen and our food should be coming out soon. He offered us a discount and dessert. It was funny that the guy even mentioned to us that he had been up for 72 hours straight! What da??? Where’s the caring manager??? And what’s going on its Friday night. 3 guest tables and they’re falling apart? It took about 45 minutes for our food. The shrimp was very very good! I even said I liked it better than the Bang bang shrimp! The wings was good too. But the service sucks! Our server finally checked on us after an hour. And once we finished eating she asked if I wanted my dessert, I said I’d take it to go.(We had enough of this place!) she came back with it in a serving plate. I reminded her I wanted it to go. It was supposed to be a strawberry shortcake. It looked like a mush of mess with some red sauce. I never tasted it cause it looked bad! Not going back even though the food wasn’t too bad. Food-service-atmosphere must come together!

It pains me to write this because the first time I dined here it was great. This last time though, the waitress seemed lost and there wasn’t a crowd. The appetizer was pretty good, but getting refills on our drinks was a task. My friend enjoyed his burger, I got the gamecock and the chicken was dry. I really hope this business makes it because I am pulling for them, but if they keep this up its going to be hard to reverse the word of mouth,

The restaurant was very clean and tv’s where all over the walls! Great place to watch the game or have a nice family dinner. Started off with a side of chips and salsa which was good. Kids tender meal came with fresh breaded tenders(5) and fries! Both my kids shared this meal. My husband got the turkey burger and I got a chicken quesadilla, and both were fresh and delicious!!! The chef came out and made sure our food was made to order and that we were pleased. We’ll be back for sure!

This place was such a disappointment. It’s really too bad. Our family just moved into the neighborhood and we’re hoping this could be a good hang out… Beside the food being poor quality, the service was quite bad as well. It was Father’s Day and our family decided to try out Post Call to celebrate. We ordered some seriously over priced meals. The shrimp and grits were a mess. Little battered shrimp that tasted fresh out of the frozen grocery section came out in huge clumps all glued together. The grits were pretty grainy and flavorless. The menu said that the dish came with toppings that were not available. The waitress went to the kitchen three times and was sent back out with substitutes that were unacceptable and wrong for the dish. Then she looked at the menu and said it was printed incorrectly. We asked for simple items and were told that they didn’t have them, for example, parmesan or jelly for our toast. The tough beef ribs came out on top of more bagged, frozen, wet hash browns. To top it off, the whole dish was swimming in a watery bbq sauce topped off with some slimy, over raw eggs. What are they thinking??? About the service… The waitress(blond lady), had four tables to care for. It was too much for her. We waited 30 minutes for our food. We needed her help but she was too busy, so we asked the hostess for help. Our table faced her. We watched her lean on the front counter doing nothing the entire time we were there. We asked her if she could get us another drink. She was put out by this and she walked slowly toward us all the while staring down the waitress in a nasty way. Ick. Here’s the kicker… There was a gentleman who was playing his guitar and singing pretty loudly through a speaker — definitely NOT background noise! His volume was too high for the small dining room and our family could hardly hear each other. THEN… another family came in and one of the men asked if he could bring in his bongo-like drum… Things got crazy! It became a dueling guitar and drum contest. Each man trying to be the star of the show. It was so loud, nobody could talk or hear themselves think! It was so unpleasant, we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. It was a shame that there wasn’t a manager to be seen to smooth out all the terrible food, service, and noise issues. This place could be a gold mine with its location. I hope they get their act together soon! Disaster. The whole experience was a disaster!

Bigger inside than you would think and a ton of tvs. Nice selection of draft beers, and the food was really good. I had wings, my wife had a really good club sandwich. PostCall is also kid friendly! Looks like this will be a nice spot to watch games as well.

Service: 1 star Food: 3.5 stars You know the first time we came here were for apps and drinks and everything went fine and smooth. The drinks(and refill) came out pretty quick and so did the food. The past couple of times though have been so disappointing. The town center is in need of a great pub/hang-out spot and this isn’t it! I’m so sad to say. First, the service. The blonde waitress A is, I’m sorry to say, not cut out for the job. Every time she has waited on us the service has been terrible. She’s a nice girl, but the countless mistakes, items forgotten, the long wait, etc. is just too much. I hope she doesn’t really need this job because it’s become completely unacceptable at this point. I like the male server, I forgot his name, but he is usually pretty good. The wait is just too long for the food, and yesterday we had two people’s entrees come out with the apps, and the rest of us had to sit there waiting forty minutes until our food came up. Really? Drinks were slow to come as well. Now to the food. I don’t eat burgers, but from everyone who does I hear the burgers are great. The buffalo chicken wings are delicious, and the buffalo shrimp is amazing. The shrimp and chicken and quesadilla is really good too. Then things go downhill from there. It’s obvious that the kitchen is taking some ‘short cuts’. One, the steak quesadilla is obviously made with those ‘steak-umms’ or something. Not cool! Why would you do this? Secondly, the guacamole is obviously from a package. TOTALLYUNACCEPTABLE. Not only is guacamole so easy to do, but it doesn’t take long at all. And the kicker: you can tell it was squeezed out of its packaging onto the ramekin. What??? Really?! What is going on!?! This place had the potential to be great but it looks like another dud.

Visit was in late Feb and I have to agree with the other reviews from that time. Post Call struck out with both bad food and bad service. The hamburger ordered med rare came med well. The oyster po’boy — well I’m not sure those frozen breaded chunks were oyster — was inedible! When a beer was ordered, we waited so long we were beginning to wonder what was up… and then the server appeared to ask«was that draft or bottle»? Typically we might give this place another shot — but it was so bad that it would really have to be a completely different restaurant to improve.

The previous reviewers must have gone to a completely different restaurant… because my experience at Post Call was really great! I imagine they had some growing pains in the beginning. Our waiter, Maurice, was absolutely wonderful. He gave excellent recommendations, and was very friendly. Our food was tasty… I had a burger with their bourbon sauce… yum! It was cooked absolutely perfectly. My husband ordered the fried buffalo shrimp(Maurice’s recommendation) and said he could have eaten about 25 more of them. They were so good! The beer selection was great, the house wine was good, and we will definitely be back! If you go, order the Whole Hog appetizer. It’s great. So glad to see a neighborhood bar in Lake Carolina again!

This place is pretty good. The food is delicious and the servers are friendly. The place just opened about 2 months ago and I think some of the servers are still getting used to it but otherwise, the service is good. I got a 10% discount for working in health care. That was a fun surprise.

I have made my first and last visit to this restaurant. The waiter though nice enough was poorly trained and provided at best mediocre service. Their iPad type ordering system slowed everything down. We ordered a second round of drinks which managed to come after we finished our meals. The menu is nothing to draw me or my party of 5 other adults back. Should have had more substantial specials. The food from the steak quesadilla, snapper special, seafood platter was just okay. I had ordered onion rings which arrived ice cold, but quickly replaced with hot pedestrian ones. I have 30 years of restaurant experience in all areas including owning a 180 seat restaurant and bar and sadly predict Post Call with owners not in the field no management presence and no real vibe except for tvs on the wall will have it’s last call within the year.

The young lady shouldn’t be a server. We asked for a few minutes and the ordered the starter which was the bacon. Tasted good by the way. On the chalkboard they has blue hurricanes on special but only to find out they were out of it after we ordered our drinks. I asked for a drink menu and then we ordered a drink, the server then took all the menus and I was thinking does she not want us to eat dinner. This was our first time here so I wanted to look over everything. She brought us our drinks and the starter and then a little while later after disappearing she then says would you like your check? I mean clearly either she was rushed or something, but I was like you know what sure. So after she brings the check she asked how are you paying for this? I’ve never been asked how are you paying for this before like I couldn’t afford this or something.. This whole night was weird. Please talk with this girl. Her name starts with an A. The bottom line is that I was prepared to have some drinks and food and left having only 1 drink and an appetizer, we headed to red lobster for dinner. I live across the street so I’m hoping this was an off night for her.
