This liquor store is a fine spot, a little over priced but it is Columbia so what do u expect. The selection is small but have some good beers and wine. And I would give a much better review if only for one resin. The staff is all friendly but one member. A slender pale brunette with glasses that treats me like its a inconvenience every time im there. Never have i had a good experience with this member of the staff. No thank u or anything but the the price with no eye contact and a attitude. This is your job miss customer service! I really don’t like coming in when she’s working.

I’d be a liar is I didn’t say this was my preferred place to fill up my alcohol level at! Owners are very nice, and staff friendly.

Had a solid variety of beer and wine, didn’t check out their liquor. It was my friend’s birthday and he is a big fan of craft beers, found him two that seemed like novelties and he ended up loving both of the large bottles — back to back. We’d go back if we are ever back in the area!

Limited selection. Costco doesn’t sell liquor(due to liquor laws) so this was an unfortunate standby. Jacob’s Creek magnum for ~$ 15! Crazy. Go… if you’re desperate.

the prices are ridiculously very very very high… they have a small limited collection. i see they try with the wine collection but i rather drive to corridor wines to get high end stuff. the staff has a «dont give a sh*t attitude». i been 4 or 5 times each time it gets worse. im a loving person but i will stay away from the negative attitude in the air.

This place is under new ownership and has changed a lot over the last couple months. The store is much cleaner and more inviting, they’ve got a very decent collection of the craft beers I love and a greater selection of import wines I’ve seen in the past. The thing I love the most about this place though is the staff, very friendly and knowledgeable, and if theres something you want but they don’t have, they’re more than happy to put it on special order. Also, wines are 10 percent off on mondays which is a really big plus when the week starts out roughly.

This place is okay, but not great. I’ve noticed a little something about the liquor stores in the area, they use the concept of «wine tastings» as a way to class it up, and subsequently gouge you. Yeah, maybe gouge is a bit harsh for this place, and they do have a few items that are typically less expensive than my local favorites(Troy Farms and Kings Contrivance Liquors). I don’t frequent the place, so maybe I’m just talking out of my neck, but here’s the impression I get: trying too hard in the wrong places. When you first walk in, the place seems like a slightly seedy booze joint. The staff is friendly, but they eye me like I ain’t from ’round here, and that never sits well with me. They also do this thing that I hate and see a lot around here. On the occasional weekend, they erect a dinky, cheap, little table that looks like they are running that three-cups scam. They toss a stack of plastic cups and a few so-so wine on top and post up their best looking employee behind it for the day. Then they try to convince you that he or she is a wine expert, and that just isn’t true. I am a wine novice, and I already know the difference between a Merlot and a Cabernet Sauvignon. *Sigh*. DuClaw doesn’t bill itself as a wine bar. It is a beer brewery, and they effing know it. This store doesn’t even have an impressive wine collection! It has standard fare, and that’s pretty much it. They have a much better selection of beer, and even most of those are pretty basic. Quit blowin’ smoke. Still, if the wine thing doesn’t bother you, it’s okay. If you know what liquor or beer you want. It’s likely to cost more here, which may or may not have to do with the wine thing. It might also have to do with it being on one of the busiest roads here… but that’s not the story I’m selling.
