When I am in the mood for home style Italian food and at MIZZOU my mind goes to the Pasta factory. We have been going here for years… Our favorites on the menu are the factory meat balls, house salad, the mostaccioli con salsiccia, and tortellini Alfredo. The portions are large… enough for two people to share. The Mostaccioli con salsiccia and tortellini Alfredo are excellent… full of flavor and substance. The service is great and friendly. The ceiling has these cool fans I have never seen before. In the main dining area, it is very«homelike» with booths, church style pews seating, and wood tables. I do not recommend the«food taxi» service that is a third party delivering this company’s food. They don’t deliver the food fast enough and ends up just being«ok». Either order to go and get it right when it’s ready or go to the restaurant.

My husband and I were looking for a nice place to sit siren and eat after a day in Columbia. He ordered the lobster ravioli, I got the chicken scallopini, both were amazing. The atmosphere was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious! Well worth the price. Remember to save room for bread pudding!

I am typically in Columbia once a year and I have to admit I already have a few favorite places, but it wasn’t until my most recent visit that I discovered The Pasta Factory. TPF is located in a small strip mall on the western side of town, right in front of the Wal-Mart off West Broadway. We arrived on a Friday evening to a slight wait, once we were seated our friendly waiter informed us of the specials. I started off with the Cheese Soup, which was very tasty, others at the table went with a salad which they were also very happy with. For my entrée I ordered the Tortellini with Peas and Prosciutto, which was great and full of flavor. Another diner went with the Tortellini Alfredo, which they were very pleased with as well. Prices here are reasonable for large portion sizes. The atmosphere is casual, so casual is key! Service here is also fast, however the food is cooked to order which was proven by one of our diners requesting a dish minus mushrooms, TPC was able to accommodate that request without any issues. Overall I was pleased with my experience at TPF and plan on making a return visit next time I am in Columbia.

Mediocre food. I received one manicotti shell swimming in a pool of alfredo sauce. Definitely not worth the price. As for ambiance, I personally do not consider old church pews with poorly lit surroundings a very welcoming atmosphere.

Great food and the customer service was good as well. I went on a very busy night and was assured it wouldn’t be long. They were right and I was very surprised by the knowledgeable staff. He gave great descriptions of the meals. It made it hard to choose.

Service is horrible. I waited at least 10 – 15 minutes to place my order and about 35 minutes for the food to arrive. I was with my 5 year old son at the time. And of course, 5 minutes after we got the food he had to go to the bathroom. He’s only 5, so I went with him. We were gone maybe 2 minutes and when we came back, there was already other people in our seats, and our coats had been moved. When I complained, they said they had packed our meals to go for us. They haded us a bag of to-go boxes and a check. I complained to the manager, and they refused to let us sit back down(because there were people waiting, or comp us for the inconvienience) they made us pay full price to be treated like complete crap. These people to not value their customers and do not deserve your money. And by the way, the food was sub-par as well.

Many years ago, this was a great place. Food quality is very mediocre. It’s a cute place although the older location was much better. I ordered the Chicken Marsala which is one of my favorite dishes. It had a very sweet flavor that I did not like. For $ 19, I expected much better! My husband had a spicy pasta dish and it was decent, nothing special. Disappointing and won’t return.

The good The portion sizes were generous The bad. We ordered them through my dinner taxi and every thing was bleh. The salad was wilted. The containers leaked the runny Alfredo all over the bag and everything in the bag. The Alfredo was VERY runny. The garlic cheese bread was hard and cold. The tortillini tasted like they were premade and frozen. The bread pudding was bizarre and looked like a slice of cake rather than bread pudding. I won’t order again.

I always enjoy myself while dinning here it’s such a fun environment! The food is amazing although when busy it can take quiet a bit, but every time I can’t wait to order their ahi tuna it’s so GOOD I highly recommend!!!

First thing that stood out to me was the atmosphere. It had huge tables and the place was dimly lit. I went for dinner so that might of played a factor. The server was nice and kept our drinks filled… I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was huge… but delicious… the sauce to the ravioli was really good but the lobster ravioli itself could of used some adjustments. and finally the bread is amazing here. the place overall is a must go if you haven’t been…

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but from the inside it has a lot going. The restaurant is well decorated, and feels like a very welcoming place. Their food is phenomenal, and I loved it. Will be going back for more for sure.

Stopped here on our way from Augusta, GA to Colorado Springs, CO and were soooooo glad we did. The Pasta Factory sits in a small strip mall and is very unassuming. We ordered(and inhaled) spaghetti and meatballs, fried mozzarella triangles with marinara sauce, cheesy garlic bread, clam chowder and a glass of pinot noir — all so very delicious! Admittedly I was slightly offended when the young man who was serving us raised his eyebrow as he cleared our plates and made a comment about me having eaten ALL of my food(as if it were some ongodly amount for a woman to consume) but I quickly got over it when I spied him through the kitchen door window throwing back the exact same thing I had eaten! Guess my enthusiasm for the chowder persuaded him to inhale a little himself ;) You’ll get no apology from me — that meal was GREAT!
