The pizza is great but the guy who takes phone orders is kinda rude — or at least just too short on the phone. Not a big deal but make sure you already know what you want when you call, and don’t try to customize.

By far the best pizza in town! It’s just perfect. Highly recommended if you want a delicious cheese pizza!

Got in late from out of town, 9:30, and wanted to order for pickup. Guy answered the phone and said«why is everybody late tonight.» So I said, «never mind» and hung up.

By far the best pizza we’ve had in Maryland since we moved here from New York. Their service is also super quick, and they are always very nice.

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s a local pizza place with decent other food. Customer service could be improved. They are pretty rude on the phone when you place to-go orders and will often cut you off before you finish your order.

Tried order carry out from here last night and the guy taking my order said«what do you want»! After that he said that’s it and hung up on me. I immediately called back and canceled my order. Terrible customer service I will never order from here again!

Have you ever accidentally microwaved a cold piece of pizza or bagel, gotten distracted and left it in for far too long? You know… turned it into a half-rock, half inedible hunk of rubber??? Yeah, that’s what we were served with our calzone, stromboli and macaroni pie. Perhaps I should have known better when I saw the pre-baked items waiting to be tortured back above room temperature. Once past the calcified exterior, the actual ingredients seemed to be of good quality. I cannot comment on the pizza as we did not order any, and will not be going back to try our luck again.

Never again will I eat there! I actually work at the Harris teeter. When the owner and manager is there its fine. But If they are not it’s terrible. Never again will I spend my money!

I stopped by and ordered a large cheese pizza to go. The guy who took my order rolled his eyes and stormed away from the counter w/o saying a word. He then began slamming cabinets as and throwing an all around hissy fit about my order. How dare I order a pizza at a pizza joint? I was so shocked about his attitude I almost walked out right then. Unfortunately, I did not want to make another stop so I stuck it out. I got my pizza and left, he didn’t say a single word to me, as I paid and walked out. I don’t understand all the high reviews because the pizza was straight nasty. It smelled terrible, the dough was rubbery(you had to fight to bite off a piece of it) and the taste was bland. Most of it got thrown away. Definitely not ever going back there again.

This is my go to carry-out pizza spot for over 10 years, they provide consistently good cheese, pepperoni, and sausage pizzas. House salads are always fresh, however I’m not a fan of the dressing too tangy and oily. The Caesar salad and dressing is decent. The meat calzone isn’t bad either but could do with more filling. Service is friendly but abrupt, they will rush you on the phone for carry out orders. It is a cafeteria style dining experience, so you fill your own drinks etc., sometimes they will bring you your pizza other times you’ll have to pick it up at the counter. They do close early, especially on Sunday nights, as other reviewers have noted the 10:30pm time frame is not accurate. I would recommend calling ahead.

Disappointed again! I am not a fan of this place but I decided to get lunch from here today because it was close. I called to ask them what type of cheese was in the calzone and the guy on the phone said mozzarella. I know some places put different type of cheeses in their calzone. I ordered two meat calzones for pick up. When we got home we realized they got the order wrong. They gave us 1 meat and the other was spinach. That is when I started to get pissed off. When I started eating the meat calzone the bread was real rubbery. The cheese inside was ricotta when they told me mozzarella cheese was the only cheese in it. This place is 2 min from my house but this is the last time I will give them my business.

Stopped here while driving North on I95. I found it on Unilocal. At the time it had 4 stars and 71 reviews. Must be good right? Wow. More like great! Totally making this a regular pit stop on the way to NJ/Philly!!! Pizza delicious! Very casual atmosphere. Booth and chairs roomy. Pizza fresh and they heated it up. Service great and relaxed.

This is probably my favorite pizza place in town. I wish I lived closer because I end up not eating here as often as I’d like. Frankly I think the location kind of sucks; I’ve love to seem them attached to the Mall or in a newer shopping center so I could eat there and walk about my other errands, but for me it’s definitely a destination joint. I go here for a rock solid plain pizza; that is my sum total expectation, and it has consistently delivered for me. I’ve never even gotten toppings because I’ve always felt a solid pizza doesn’t need anything coming between the crust, sauce and cheese. Now, the delivery cardboard my wife likes to order? Load that thing up with enough toppings that I’ll forget what it is I’m supposed to be eating. About the pie: It’s a classic pizza — «New York style»(if you will, although there is such a wide range of pizza styles in NYC that this term seems a bit lost these days): thin crust, crispy with just enough chew to it, good cheese, good sauce. First several times we visited here we had just returned from the City and was looking to prolong the pizza buzz. It did the job well and frankly was better than some of the«well regarded» pizza we’ve had up there. Price is very reasonable, cheaper than delivery cardboard. 12 for a large I think ? They have other stuff on the menu too. I don’t know why. If something about a linoleum tiled pizza parlor says«order the fancy dishes» to you then go for it. Just know that I’m going to laugh at you when you write«the endangered species au poivre didn’t live up to my expectations» in a review of what amounts to a pizza joint. I’ve experienced tired workers bordering on grumpy, but never rudeness. Couldn’t care less; they still bring me good pizza. This place is BEST for: Cheap eats Focus on the pizza Kids/Family /soccer factions BAD for: goal oriented dating seeking out that Italian dish your grandmother made solitude/quietude endangered species au poivre

This place serves a purpose as a neighborhood pizza spot, but it really is nothing special. the folks that work there are not terribly friendly at all and the pizza is fairly average. again, it serves a purpose so I will continue to eat there but it’s not the most exciting pizzeria around.

I haven’t had anything but the pizza, but it’s good. I like the crust. This is our go-to pizza place because it’s quick, convenient, and tasty. We like to call ahead and dine in. Our order was wrong the last two times, but we just sucked it up and ate it because the guy that runs the place is kinda scary. And that’s no secret. He’s like the pizza version of the«soup nazi» from Seinfeld or something. I do wish that they would repeat your order back to you instead of giving you a number and then promptly hanging up. Who wants to eat spinach and pineapple pizza? Besides that, we still like to go there for the pizza so I guess you can say it’s worth it.

After reading the great reviews & craving pizza and sandwiches, headed over. I will say that we ordered it before heading over. If we had traveled to the little open mall we would not have ordered. It was 7:30 midweek and there was no one in the restaurant or picking up orders which is a very bad sign especially in this pricey area. Ordered: large pizza, ½ sausage, ½ pepperoni) Veal Parmigiana sub Italian Sub side of 2 meatballs The pizza was tough, VERYLITTLE sauce, very little cheese but lots of sausage and pepperoni. Overall an F in rating. The crust was tough, not crisp. What we love about pizza, i.e., sauce and cheese was almost absent. The Italian sub that someone raved about was meh and a C in rating. There was nothing memorable about it and Mikes NJ Subs makes a MUCH better sub; however, the price was good. My hubby was craving a Veal Parmigiana sub, it was tough, no parmigiana(i.e., cheese, a pattern at this place) and the sauce was too much. C– grade The meatballs were only OK and the sauce was tasteless, C in grade. Moreover, most pizzerias give bread with 2 meatballs(«you get no bread with one meatball,» remember the song?) and there was no bread There was also no napkins, cutlery, etc., for a take out order. I am very surprised about the other ratings. I will not return. I love Pasta Plus in Laurel(they have the best pizza and phenomenal desserts) and will continue to go there.

Good thin crust pizza, available via slice and customized with toppings or made to order. Pretty limited selection of toppings, about 8. A quick place to grab a bite, light on atmosphere. Was considering the nice looking side salads in the window, but seemed highly priced compared with getting a second slice of pizza. Would say good place for pizza, but not as good for people that was a range of items or toppings.

I came here because of all the stellar Unilocal reviews, and It was a VERY typical carry-out pizza place. This pizza does NOTCOMPARE to really good pizza in New York– not even close. The pizza has a nice crispy crust but it’s still a pretty thick doughy pie. We tried the NY style cheese pizza– you can just tell from the pictures that it’s an ordinary pizza pie from a local pizza joint. This place doesn’t have a coal-fire Neopolitan oven or anything like that that would make the pizza so good. The salads were good, they were really fresh, and the chicken caesar with freshly grilled chicken and the house salad were both surprisingly good.
