I decided to stop by the ever so popular place to get my roast beef on… Arby’s. I didn’t visit for one of those divine roast beef sandwiches, and instead I decided to try their new Roast Beef Gyro! I unwrapped this warm Greek inspired sandwich, and was told rather startled by the appearance. We all know that any most of the time when we see something on TV, and in this case, food… it almost never looks like how it does on the TV screen. I was a little nervous too, because here I am gazing at the ugly duckling, and hoping that the looks are just doing deceiving my eyes for what I’m about to taste. So, I took my first bite, and BOOM!!! Instant flavor! The sandwich comes with lettuce, tomatoes, Greek seasoning(which I am left to believe it is oregano with other spices), red onions, tzatziki sauce, and I had them to add Swiss cheese, and your choice of roast beef or turkey, of which I chose roast beef. All of this fits inside of a soft and warm flat pita bread. The sandwich was delicious! You get those Greek spices directly, as well as the rich tzatziki sauce, and when I added Swiss cheese, it made it that much better! If you’re hungry and you can stand the guilt not to get the iconic beef ‘n’ cheddar… stop in for a quick greek flare… then go out and get yourself a turkey or roast beef gyro! You’ll be screaming OPA in no time!!!

Food is ok, drive thru guy gave me too much change and got mad when I told him… didn’t want his drawer to be short, but I’ve never had someone get mad when I told them I got too much change… better training might be needed…
