Ate at this hotel restaurant while on a business trip. The steak was well seasoned and cooked as ordered. The house salad was fresh. The Yukon potatoes were seasoned and oven baked, slightly crispy on the outside. The waitress suggested the potatoes and they did not disappoint. The waitress was very friendly, she also worked the bar, good job handling both. I will be here 3 more days and look forward to having dinner onsite on each of those days.

The food isn’t bad, but not great. I didn’t die or fear for the safety of my insides. The salad I got with chicken was okay, but a little soggy with the dressing they pour on top. The chicken looked grey and was not trimmed to well, but still edible. The chef club with onion rings was the best entrée I had while staying here several times. It’s not bad for hotel food and the service is excellent.

This restaurant is inside the Embassy Suites. Not surprised that it isn’t the best, but I guess I’ve had much worse. This place floats between 2 and 3 stars for me… there were some things it hits great… other things just… not so great. Ordered the citrus salad with salmon, french onion soup, and death by chocolate. The salad was drenched in the vinaigrette… you should really get it on the side. It’s really hard to get through… it is a good mix of ingredients though that seem pretty fresh. It comes with baby spinach, mandarin oranges, strawberries, candied pecans, and dried cranberries. Without the raspberry vinaigrette, the salad might have been doable. The addition of salmon to the salad was a great choice though. The salmon was cooked surprisingly well; succulent and not dried out at all, which is usually the opposite at places like that. Other than that, it was actually a pretty big salad. The french onion soup was a generous bowl which a thick covering of cheese. It was a bit salty for me, but it was good flavor. The cake was… definitely one to avoid. I should’ve followed my original instincts and skipped it… but I couldn’t resist chocolate. Oh well. Hotel food, is still hotel food, after all!
