Wings like I like them BAb’s was at Dinin Hall so I wanted to try them out. Their menu was very american, but I settled on the wonder wings. They did not take long at all to be ready and they were piping hot. If you have a problem with salt, please refrain from these wings. Me, I love a good salty wing. They definitely have more seasoning on them, but it is the salty flavor that sticks out. The wonder sauce with them is sweet and spicy, but not my thing. It was odd, the first note from the wonder sauce reminded me of communion wine. I just stuck to the wings as is after tasting it. They are great by themselves.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Columbus, OH
I ran into the friendly folks who run Babs’ at Dinin’ Hall. It was a hot, humid Ohio summer day, which made it appropriate timing to eat gumbo. Gumbo in Columbus tends to be mediocre, but Babs’ distinguishes itself with a nice gumbo with that distinctive base of roux, complete with andouille and shrimp, and served on rice. At $ 6.50 it’s a small serving for the price, but it makes up in quality what it lacks in quantity. I would have licked the container clean if I could have found a way to do so without making a scene. The black bean and corn salad was a comparatively generous portion of a fresh, bright-tasting mix of corn, black bean, tomatoes, sweet peppers, and scallions; a nice summer foil for the gumbo. I also helped myself to my friend’s «wonder wings», which were nicely battered and fried chicken wingettes with a chili-pepper dipping sauce. By definition fried chicken is pretty good, but Babs’ pepper sauce sets theirs apart. Babs’ is one of the newer food trucks in town(as of this review), and definitely a welcome addition to the scene.
