I would give 0 stars if it was possible do my manicure /4 stars for my daughter. Just left. Getting your nails done should be a slow enjoyable process. Instead done in 10 minutes for a manicure. They didn’t even clean under my nails. Sterilization packs aren’t brown which means they aren’t sterile. My nails actually hurt upon leaving. The employees were polite and nice but talked only to each other. That was my experience. My daughter on the other hand was happy with the woman that helped her and her manicure. She said she was very gentle and her nails looked great. but she was done in 15 min. I know it’s called express manicure but at least let me soak both hands and clean my nails.

Nail tech was really nice. Had an express mani pedi. Really reasonable pricing and both look great. No pressure to upgrade. Upscale atmosphere.

I had been to Bella a couple of times before today and was satisfied both times. Not overwhelmed, but satisfied. However, I prefer another nail spa and to my dismay, they had no appointments today and I had to have my nails done. Hence, I went back to what I thought would be a good standby. Not so. First, my companion and I arrive and clearly told the older gentleman that we wanted the Express Mani-Pedi combo for both of us. As my companion was getting her pedicure, he kept asking her if she wanted this or that and she clearly told him, «Whatever comes with the Express.» Well, he was basically setting her up to pay for the next«level» of a pedicure which was an additional $ 9 without clearly explaining that. Keep in mind, the English is not spoken very well, so it’s easy to miscommunicate with these people. My manicurist hardly spoke anything at all, and I never understood anything said to or asked of me. I still tipped them – I don’t believe in being rude in that way to service professionals unless it’s particularly horrible and though we were disappointed, I couldn’t(at the time) say it was awful. Just agreed right then and there that I’d never, EVER go back there. Well, I get home and have to go out earlier this evening – a full FIVE hours from my pedicure time. I come back and take my shoes off to discover my pedicure polish peeling in LAYERS. Not joking. The polish was put on so thick there was no way it could have dried, though it was dry to the touch. I’ve never been able to peel an entire layer of polish of and still have polish underneath. Talk about putting me in a pissy mood after I’ve paid for this service that didn’t even last 8 hours. Based on this, I do NOT recommend this Polaris-area nail salon and I will NEVER go back. The next time I can’t get into N Lounge, I’ll just wait. They are far better at what they do and I don’t have a problem understanding anyone there. You tell them what service you want and no one tries to slick sell you on upcharging for a different service. Methinks not!

Bella Nails was recommended to me by a coworker. I walked in on a Saturday and surveyed to see if it was going to be worth my time to wait for a manicure. The place is clean lovely and staffed. I was greeted right away, told to pick a color and decided based on my greeting i would do a mani and a pedi. They put me in a chair. 3 other women followed me about 2 – 3 mins later and were placed in a pedi station. LONGSTORYSHORT, I sat in water without anyone acknowledging me for 45mins. Soaking my feet. That is a problem because they kept taking customers upfront and began working on them. When someone finally came back they started on the 3 other women that came after me. I kindly started to stir and told them I needed to leave because I was sitting for 45 mins w/o service. They got nervous and told me someone would be with me. The woman next to me said she came earlier and told her to come back, but then she waited with me for 30 mins after her return before they started on her. The nail tech finally came back, asked if I wanted a mani and pedi and I told him no, I had to leave. He convinced me to stay for a basic pedi, He was slow, went to go get«towels» from the back room, gone for another 5 mins — and blew smoke breath in my face when finishing my toes. HEWENTON A SMOKEBREAKINTHEMIDDLEOFMYSERVICE. They charged me full price. I should have walked the first time I threatened. CUSTOMERSERVICEWASTERRIBLE. Too many nails shops around to go back.
