The service is friendly, my wife and I really enjoyed it, cozy atmosphere. Possibly the best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever eaten. They also serve good deviled eggs. Excellent value

I have been going to the Big Cheese for years now. Their sliced chicken breast is absolutely delicious. Eating that alone just makes me think of summer — we have always had that for lunch when we go swimming.
I would have lunch here all the time in high school, and I still do now! I love it. My usual order is a BLT on wheat toast, potato salad and some lemonade. Seriously, their lemonade is the best in town. Hands down. No lemonade will ever live up to theirs.
The Big Cheese special is also really, really good. This really is a hidden gem in Columbus.

I have the day off today & decided it was a nice day for a drive. I ended up in Columbus. I’ve never been down here before and it was getting to be around lunchtime so I checked my friendly Unilocal app for a clue on what to eat. I ended up here. It’s a really small sandwich shop… with good eats. I had the BBQ pork sandwich on a round roll. I’m thankful for the fork they gave me because the pork did fall out of the bun. It was warm and tasty… I guess they are famous for their lemonade. It was excellent also. One more tip: Cash only…

Delicious, inexpensive, Columbus lunch must! Only downsides are paying in cash and the lack of seating. Other than that, big cheese is a wonderful little sandwich place with friendly employees.

Sandwiches are great. Great environment. Great Lemonade, brownies, everything. This place is the definition of a great small time restaurant. No credit or debit cards but go to the ATM and get your butt down there!

A great lil Deli a hop skip and a jump from anywhere you are in town. I used to frequent this spot in Junior High through grade 10 for pickles that snap in your mouth, bread that was soft as dough and offerings that were juicy and clean and of course all these pluses are well within the starving students budget.
