Authentic Mexican food. Tried a steak, chicken and pork taco and they were delicious. Best tacos I have had outside of Mexico. My husband had pollo Mole sand was equally impressed. The food is served with a trio of green, red salsa and pico de gallo. The green salsa was out of this world. Also, the kids menu was reasonably priced. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

At this point, I’ve been to every Mexican place in Columbus(I think!), and this is definitely the best spot for a quick lunch. Tasty dishes, authentic Mexican bottled drinks, and nice and friendly service. The inside of the restaurant is a little bit dated, but they still keep it clean so it looks good. Maybe not the best place for a sit-down dinner, but definitely a good place to grab a bite around midday.

We ate at the one in Taylorsville across from the Outlets. Yum!!! Authentic & delicious. The salsa verde & salsa are served together in separate bowls, & very good, however the salsa verde is outstanding!!! It is like no other I have ever had. While you’re enjoying the chips & salsa you can hear your food sizzling on the grill shortly after you’ve placed your order. Fresh cilantro, finely shredded radish, wedge of lime, and a warm corn tortillas are what you find when biting into the delicious chicken or steak soft tacos. I’m so excited to have such a wonderful authentic Mexican restaurant so close. The owners were very friendly & appreciative.

Actually went to the one on 31 … Delicious!!! Tacos were tasty, large portion, crunchy lettuce and veg. Meat was well-seasoned. The burrito(beef) was huge, and tasty as well. Guac was worth the extra. Salsa was not too spicy(I admit I am a wuss). Highly recommend

Best tacos I’ve had since moving from San Diego 25 years ago and great prices. My only complaint is that the service was slow.

Places like this are why I love Unilocal. We were hungry away from home and Mecican food sounded good. 4.5 stars and 10 minutes later we were ordering Chimichangas and they were really good. We’ll be back the next time we head this far South.

When we moved here from Southern California, finding good Mexican food was a task. My son was working with a Hispanic gentleman and he told my son about this place. Now, for 6 years we do not go to any other Mexican restaurant period. The green salsa is probably the best I have ever tasted.(Next to my wife’s red salsa.)

I’m a big fan of their tacos but everything you can get here is amazing, even the pizza buffet(their macaroni and cheese pizza is da bomb). I love their little spinning lazy susan of sauces but the red spicy sauce is only for the brave or naïve

The best Mexican food in Columbus. Our son introduced us to this place. They have the best tacos. Try one of each.

The place doesn’t look like much but the food was very good. I had the Al pastor burrito and it was very good the pork was seasoned just right. For 9 bucks I walked away full and satisfied.

It tastes authentic and not from the freezer. Also the servers are pleasant and helpful. The salsas are delicious too.

The food is okay, I feel like they are having an identity crisis adding a pizza buffet. The horchata is very good and the salsa verde. Worst service in town and very very slow.

Don’t let the condition of the outside of the building fool you. This place is fantastic. Love the tacos and the tortas. Very fresh. Delicious!

A hidden gem in Columbus. The food was outstanding, service was quick and friendly. If your looking for authentic, this is your place. Added bonus they have a pizza buffet if Mexican is not what your hungry for. Highly recommend the Pozole de Puerco.

I traveled North and South, East and West across the MidWest. This place is definitely the only location within 65 square miles that has real authentic Mexican food. The empanadas, gorditas, burritos, and tacos are spot on. It’s not fine dining, but the taste is impeccable.

Can’t claim to be an expert on Mexican food, but this place is awesome. The tacos are all killer — carne asada and lengua are my favorites, but I haven’t had one I didn’t like. The tortas are the best hangover food in town — huge piles of ingredients on big soft rolls. Good for two meals, most of the time. The horchata is delicious(especially with a little rum added when you get home!) I don’t think you can get horchata anywhere else in Columbus.

I have recently decided that I am too generous with my ratings so I will give out fewer 4 stars and only give 5 stars to places that I feel are the best at what they do. I gave Sabor De La Vida 5 stars because it is the most authentic and delicious Mexican restaurant I have been to so far. They give you the usual complimentary chips and salsa, but Sabor doesnt just give you salsa. They give you 3 salsas. One is pretty much your standard salsa except it tastes like its make fresh, the 2nd is some kind of salsa-guac combo and the 3rd is a red paste that starts delicious and finishes with a fiery blast of heat. The 3rd was too much for me to handle on just chips but was good on my burrito. A burrito may sound like a boring choice, but the menu was all in spanish so I played it safe.
