Bob Evans Restaurant

This location just can’t seem to get it right. And apparently reviews don’t matter bc they keep providing the same low quality service. I live in hilliard and gave up on this location long ago. But tonight, I met up with friends right as they were getting on the highway after a funeral. This was convenient. But why bother? Your service was terrible. Are you guys ever going to get better?! Do you read these reviews? You kind of suck.

Would never return! There are plenty of Bob Evan’s in town with great service and quality food. This place is completely mismanaged. I was a server before and I know the ins and outs of the business. Our server was so over run that I could see her asking the kitchen for food all the while the manager was hiding in the back. There had to be 15 people waiting on carry out orders and when I asked the manager why he got mad and actually walked out of the building, leaving his staff to deal with a lot of angry customers.

So annoyed with this place. The last time I ordered to go they shorted me a french toast and a home fry and also gave me a hash brown vs. home fry. This time I arrived on time and was i formed that my order never made it to the kitchen… I have been waiting for 30 mins… Totally disappointed

We had breakfast and it was much better than the bob Evans’ restaurants on broad street & georgesville square. Still it could have been better as the service was a bit slow and the toast was dried out. i do not care with the fats they use to cook with and whatever their default toast spread is, i try to remember to ask for regular butter and they usually give me little packs of hard as a rock butter that is really impossible to spread on dry cold toast. Bob Evans needs to overhaul how they prepare their food to make it taste better and be more healthy. My wife & I used to go to their restaurants 2 – 3 times a month but their quality declined while their prices skyrocketed. We hope they do something to right the ship!

There are many few times I give such a low rating to such a well known restaurant. But my experience yesterday was quite poor when I saw two employees screaming at each other. Luckily there weren’t many people there but it got everyone’s attention. Paying 49 Dollars and listening to these two for most of the time. Eventually we had to ask our waitress to try and break the commotion. Other than that most of it was good but I couldn’t get over the commotion.

I used to be a big fan of bob evan’s breakfast but unfortunately the quality dropped all the way to the ground. I ordered the western omelet that came with dry chopped ham and vegetables that probably were sautéed couple days ago and left in the fridge.

Typical bob evans resturant, my hubby and I like this place because with a bogo coupon it’s 10 or so bucks for 2 ppl to eat. Food is good, standard diner American fare. Something for everyone and not greasy or gross. One of our go to places for breakfast or anytime.

I see why everyone else says the service here is horrible. I placed an order online for the curbside service. Upon arriving 10 minutes early, I called and they said that my food wasn’t ready (that’s fine since I’m early) and that it’ll be approximately 15 minutes. Then they said that they didn’t offer curbside service after dark, which is also fine if they would have just mentioned that somewhere online before I place my order.
So I went into the restaurant 15 minutes later, but my food still wasn’t ready and they said it was probably gonna be another 10 minutes. They weren’t even apologetic about it which was the worst part. I’m a pretty patient person and when this has happened at other restaurants, as long as they’re nice and sincere about it, I have no problem waiting.
All in all, I spent more than a half hour just waiting for my food, which should have been ready right on time since I placed the order online more than an hour in advance. Essentially the same as ordering right in the restaurant and waiting for my food. Haven’t tried the food from this branch but will definitely not be coming back anytime soon!
P. S. I wrote this entire long review while waiting for my food that should have been ready a good 20 minutes ago. Still waiting. Plus, they’re not too busy at all.

They have great sausage gravy. Every time we go there, the quality of the food is very good and consistent. The serving staff is kind and helpful and if you are real hungry and would like a big breakfast, you cannot beat Bob Evans’ «Farmers Breakfast». If you get it, don’t try to eat it alone. Share a little :-)

All I can say is that the service is so inconsistent that I just don’t like going here. We stop in sometimes bc it’s in the way home from work and the kids love free hot chocolate refills. They have one manager that always provides great service and a couple employees that do well, but it seems that we get bad service more than good.

The breakfast is tasty but the service is super slow. The waitress is dingy. My mom has to stir her coffee with a straw because they didnt bring us silverware. I asked for a regular coke and she brought me a diet! Nothing is worse than diet! The super dingy server asked when I told them to let the chef know I have a nut allergy she said and you want me to tell them what.

I usually enjoy Bob Evans and honestly kinda hard to screw up breakfast. But this location has easily been the worst experience I’ve had at any Bob Evans. The customer service was just awful, it took 25 min to get our food which was screwed up (ordered home fry less omelet… came out with them inside the omelet) and instead of just apologizing and offering to get us something else our waitress just reiterated what was in the omelet mix. If it was something the cooks couldn’t remove that would have been fine we would have just picked something else. Eventually she did take it off our bill and upon request got us another menu (which she didn’t come back with for 10 mins). At that point we decided to just split the one omelet we had and leave. When asked how our service was at checkout we said it wasn’t that great actually and the host seriously said «yeah it’s been really busy today»… Wow, just an overall awful experience solely due to poor service. We won’t be back.

Was in Cbus for work and my boss suggested that we have a quick bite for breakfast at Bob Evans. Keep in mind that just flew in from the west coast the night before, so technically I was having breakfast at 4 AM. Bob Evans is located right next to the hotel that we’re staying at so it was as convenient as it gets.
Bob Evans is a fairly big breakfast/​brunch joint with a huge opening once you walk in. The service is pretty good and their menu is pretty much what you’ll find at IHOP, Denny’s, and Coco’s. Nothing really stood out to me and not much was said on any of the reviews regards to must tries. I opted for their Country Fried Steak, Eggs, and Wheat Toast. The food was decently sized, fresh, and favorful.
Other reviewers stated that the service was below average, but at 7 AM it was pretty good. Our cups of joe were kept full and the orders were served fairly quick. I would recommend Bob Evans if you’re in the area. However, since it’s your basic breakfast food, it’s not a place I see myself going out of the way to get to.

So yum. Breakfast can’t be beat!

VERY slow service, and I was one of the only people in the place. This location is close to my house so I go there, and almost always I walk away asking myself why didn’t I go to another location. Wonderful renovation though…

I am a Bob Evans fan. But not this location. Very BAD SERVICE
