Came here last night. Had excellent service. The food was great too(I am totally addicted to their Cranberry Chicken Salad… give me more please!!!). My son ordered the double chocolate pancakes. When he was done eating, there was absolutely not a crumb left on his plate. We didn’t even have to ask for refills, she just brought them Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Had a classic Bob Evans experience here at this location. Greeted as we walked in, sat down right away, tables were clean and set appropriately, quickly greeted by a friendly waitress, took our order, brought the food within 10 minutes and checked on us twice. Food was hot and fresh. Place was ¾ full so expected a little wait on food but didn’t happen. Double Chocolate pancakes that my daughter ordered were exactly as pictured and tasty. A little too much chocolate for most but she loved it. Husband’s blueberry crepes and my rise and shine egg/sausage/hash brown breakfasts were very good. No complaints with anything about our experience on a Sunday morning. Will go back again.

This location is always slow and they happen to be the rudest employee’s ever. I’ve attempted to dine here on several ocassions and always the same result bad service.

I’ve dined in at this location only three times, but I get carryout from here all the time. The carryout crew is great! My food is always ready when I arrive and when I order a drink, they wait for me to get there, rather than letting it get watered down. The one less star rating is for the dine in experiences. Our orders were correct, and we loved the magician on Family Night. The service was slow and each time was several months apart. I haven’t dined in in about a year, though, so keep that in mind.

We like Bob Evans at any location. A local chain with homestyle cooking. The menu choices are quite varied american fare. Even without any order modifications, there is usually a glitch in your parties order. It could be because of the kitchen, or your server. On a slow Wednesday night, I was missing sour cream n chives, because the server didn’t garnish the meal. My toast was buttered, not dry, because the kitchen missed the detail. My wife’s meal was delivered in pieces. First the pancakes arrived, then the fruit dish, later followed by eggs & bacon. We hate not having a complete meal. Like when they take your steak for a re-cook, and leave you with just a baked potato. The restaurant was clean. The staff was very friendly. The manager had already re-ordered the toast, and was collecting the rest of her order when he noticed the mistake. He was very apologetic about the details. We will return. I recommend signing up for Bob Evans emails to receive regular deals. The WiFi has NEVER worked. We were told only 12 devices can be on it at a time. The employees must be the only users because none of the guests were able to get on.

The food not only looked like the picture, it came out piping hot. This location was unlike any other I have been too. The waitress was great as well! This place must have good management with a great training program.

What happened? Used to be a great place. Took over 40 minutes to get seated with no line. Over 20 minutes to see a waitress and almost 45 minutes to get food. Really, really sad. Stay away unless you have a couple hours to get mediocre service.

Can’t go wrong with a classic, the rise & shine. Mmmm, home fries, sausage links, eggs & bread. Eggs have to be cooked over-medium of course, got to have something to dip my wheat bread in. Sausage links are cooked perfectly. The eggs are perfectly cooked also, that’s good as half the time they are overcooked. My man got the sausage gravy breakfast. All was good except the biscuits they were hard as rocks. Got some more & they were still warm, yummy.

I stopped in here for lunch today and had my usual; an order of sausage gravy and biscuits. Boy those are good! Sometimes I think I could live on them!

This is the ONLY place on the planet to get real, authentic sausage gravy. Not that white, tasteless flour-based mush they call sausage gravy at other diner joints. The real deal. The kind with a sausage flavor — not just random chunks of sausage strategically placed to make it «feel like» sausage gravy. Forget Cracker Barrel. Forget Dennys. Forget every Mom N Pop diner you know. This is what you crave. My husband and I call it «the goop» and no one does«the goop» like Bob Evans.

We decided to go after visiting my grandma in the hospital. I’ve been here before so I knew what to expect. Traditional American food, home cooked food, and prices are pretty reasonable. I got Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli, a side salad, garlic bread, and ice tea. The other parties in my group had pork chop special, with side salad, diet coke; turkey dinner with diet coke. They got banana and cherry bread. Sarah was our waitress. It was what you’d expect from any restaurant, sit down, get our drink order, and food order. They took a while to get my garlic bread, but other than that, I loved how Sarah come over several times to check up on us – refill our drinks(4 to 5 times during our visit)! I would be back to visit again. @Greg S: I definitely would have said something if they made you wait so long. They should at least have given your entrée free or at a 50% discount. I’ve been to many restaurants where similar situations happened — and they did just that — manager gives you your entrée free(or gives a discount on your order). I wouldn’t accept poor service. It’s even worst when it’s not the waiter’s fault.

Nothing wrong with Bob Evans. It’s the perfect definition for your experience here, I’d say. I’m ending up here more often lately for brinner…’cause, man, I love brinner. I’ve also had some of their entrée choices. Nothing really jumps out at you as being totally amazing, but there’s also nothing I’ve gotten that I’ve ever had a big issue with. As you may have been able to cleverly deduce, almost their entire breakfast menu is served all-day, except for some particular things(like, waffles, maybe?). That’s odd, but alrighty. Whatevs. A major irk is their refusal to serve real butter. All they have is margarine. Yuck. One thing you’ll typically find at Bob Evans is friendly employees and quick service, and that’s been my experience as well. It’s cheap to boot, so that’s nice too.

«Welcome to Bob Evans», a reasonable start to a midweek meal at a Midwest eatery known for serving comfort food with moderate efficiency. At least that’s my expectation. Although alone, I was shown quickly to a booth by the greeter, as I had requested. The restaurant was perhaps only twenty percent full, and I was immediately greeted by a friendly, perky waitress named Lindsey. She handed me a menu, pointed out the specials, and took my drink order(just water, but they do have a nice selection to choose from). Being in the mood for a burger, I quickly decided on the«Big Farm Cheeseburger». Although it comes with French fries and cole slaw, you can substitute most sides without an upcharge. In the mood for a salad, I swapped it for the slaw. My server said they were«prepping new salad in the back, and it might be a couple of minutes». I told her that would be fine. Still saladless ten minutes later, Lindsey apologized for the delay and offered up something to tide me over, such as some soup or other item. I declined, as I figured it couldn’t take much longer. I also asked that my burger be timed appropriately following the arrival of my salad. I could sense the frustration in my server’s voice, as she said she had three other people also awaiting salads, and I overheard the table next to mine order salads, too. Fifteen minutes later, I watched as Lindsey rushed out of the back, salad bowls finally in hand. I watched as she picked up a burger and fries that had been sitting on the counter and brought them out with my salad. She apologized profusely for the delay. My salad consisted of chopped lettuce, a few grape tomatoes and some croutons. The last two items I saw my server add, so the delay of more than twenty-five minutes was for the prep cooks to chop lettuce, or to open a bag of salad. Incredibly disappointing, and certainly not in the«Bob Evans Tradition» they speak so highly of. The«Colonial Dressing»(really just poppy seed dressing), was slopped over the serving cup edges in the haste to get these out. Not having time to wait for another burger and fries(already lukewarm), I hurried through my salad. The fries were indeed cold, and thus pretty unappealing. I will say the burger, although barely warm, was very good. It was a reasonably sized patty, well-seasoned, and although well-done(you seem to get them only as they make them), very tasty. The bun was soft on the inside with a slightly chewy crust. The lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion were fresh, and in just the right proportions. One thing I did notice, the manager, highly visible, dropped by every table asking on the meal. Well, almost every table. His stops didn’t seem to include those that had waited almost half an hour for a salad. Perhaps he didn’t want to hear our thoughts, or to offer up a «nicety» in return for the horrible delay. I paid my tab, left a nice tip(not her fault and I could tell this was embarrassing for her), and left. The total, with tip, was $ 12.00. Would I go back? No, not to this Bob Evans anyway. If it is so poorly run that the manager can’t get a head, or bag, of lettuce out in twenty plus minutes and has no apparent interest in me, then I have no interest in them. For half that price I can get a Big Mac, large fries and a side salad two blocks down at McDonald’s. Of course I will have to bring it to the table myself, but for $ 6.00, I will be glad to do just that. Good Heavens, Bob Evans. Poor way to run a business.

I love going to Bob Evans. I went the other night for dinner. We were seated quickly and greeted promptly by the server. After we were sat, she also got a party of 10, which seemed to occupy most of her time. But being a former server, I understand that. I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatos and green beans. I first had a side sade which was very good. The lettuce was crisp and the honey mustard was delicious! The country fried steak itself was«just okay.» The portion was much smaller than I had anticipated(having just moved here from Oklahoma City, the capital of country fried steak, I’m used to it being ginormous!). It was a little soggy too… not very crispy. Definately won’t have that again. My dinner companion had the smokehouse burger, which looked very good and also the sweet potato fries looked scrumptious! The manager did all the food running and refills as our waitress was pre-occupied with the other table. In all, I like Bob Evans’ breakfast menu better than dinner. I’ll be back… at some point.

A warm greeting and seated quickly. Couldn’t ask for more. I had the smokehouse burger — very tasty. This is the kind of place you go if your want home style comfort food! Nothing fancy, just home cookin’. Our server was lacking a bit in personality as well as service… but that seems to be the norm anymore… Why is that??? Inquiring minds want to know!
