Smoothie King

First of all, when I order three smoothies without protein (when I specifically asked them at least six times to not put protein powder in the smoothies) I expect to get smoothies without protein. Unfortunately this was not the case. I just love spending money on something that I didn’t want. So, in the trash went the three 20oz smoothies. We went to Panera instead, where we should have started to begin with. Maybe next time hire someone with more experience that can follow directions! Last time I waste money here.

Consistently great. I typically (and conveniently) only tend to show up when they are not very busy. Order quickly, and it’s always the same great smoothie. There are usually only two employees there so they pretty much just have their game face on. I guess I see why some might fault the service if they were to get at all busy.

Here on a Saturday afternoon, 1 person working 12 customers waiting. Good smoothie, terrible service.

I love smoothie king its a great place to get your vitamins and a refreshing smoothie. Hearty Apple, Pep Upper, can’t go wrong, either way you go. Go and try one of these awesome smoothies

For our our son’s grad party — we decided to use Smoothie King on Hamilton Road for our desert. My wife went up and worked directly with their manager.
They were great to work with. On the day of the party, they delivered multiple coolers of pre-​made smoothies. Dry Ice kept them cool. (We then returned the coolers back to their ‘store’
It was a huge hit! There were no leftovers!

I was in the area for work a couple of weeks ago, and wanted a smootie, so I found myself in this location. I got a Pineapple Pleasure, and it satisfied my craving. While here, I met the husband and wife who own this joint. I usually try to stay away from chains and companies, and support smaller businesses, but I found myself supporting residents of Gahanna. It was a nice feeling. They were very nice people, and will stop by again if in the area!

Smoothies taste pretty good, but the rating reflects the level of service provided here.
We order, take a seat and chat for a few minutes. Started noticing people behind us getting their smoothies, so realized I must have to initiate the check out (figured they would call your name since they took it at order).
I make my way to the counter, at the end of the line. The server ignores the guy in front of me and calls my name. I pay and leave… then hear the guy who was ignored try to order a smoothie. Server responds «sorry sir, we don’t take orders over here. Please go to the other counter to place your order».
Did that just happen? The place is now empty, and apparently we have the self anointed smoothie king himself being rigid about where you can order. The customer is always right (unless they are standing in the wrong place).

I love this place, I just hate that it is so far away from my home and my workplace.
I usually stop by whenever I am in Gahanna.
They have maybe 2 or 3 tables to sit at, but I usually just get my smoothie to go.
Smoothie King also offers miscellaneous items, such as supplements and protein bars and powder.
I’ve never seen more than two people working at a time, so if you are pressed for time and in a hurry, you’d better skip out.

We always want to drink something during a drive to work or after work. This place is always makes a great alternative to a coffee especially in the morning. Many great choices and many with banana. If you feel banana will not work for you they can substitute anything for a small amount.
Pleasant helpfull staff behind the counter. One of the very few places I feel good about going and the service is good.

Smoothie King isn’t so different than any other smoothie place I’ve ever been in. The only difference is its proximity to my house, which is why I end up here as often as I do.
The prices are high, too high for fruit and ice in my opinion, but you won’t find them cheaper anywhere close so ponying up for a small strawberry banana every now and then just seems to happen.
The menu here is extensive which can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how many options you want. Also, they really push the add-​ins, and I’m not a fan of powdered health so I get some odd looks when I decline.
All that said, the smoothies aren’t bad, and on a hot day they’re a great alternative to the more fattening ice cream.

This place is crap. A smoothie is supposed to be healthy — fruit, ice, and a bit of fruit juice to achieve the desired consistency. Smoothie King thinks healthy means adding a scoop of a vitamin supplement to a peanut butter and chocolate smoothie is healthy. No thanks. If I wanted peanut butter and chocolate, I would eat it atop a sundae, not blended in a cup of ice. Even the more healthy options that actually have fruit in them taste like Maalox, expensive Maalox.

Okay so I had given this place a pretty negative review at one point due to the customer service that I received at my first visit. I have since been back to the shop pretty regularly and each time I have been back I have been greeted by the actual owners of the establishment and given high quality attention and service. I said in a quick tip I believe that this is the Smoothie King establishment that I would rather frequent than any other. The owners there know my name and even to the extent of knowing what is my favorite smoothie. I love going here and as a matter of fact will be heading that way once I am done meeting with a client. The taste of the smoothies there are awesome. LIke they can’t be beat. So with the fantastic smoothies and now the awesome customer service I have now given this place 5 stars. AWESOME job you guys at Smoothie King

As far as juice bars and smoothie shops are concerned, I don’t know any that are better than this one. I love Steve and Laurie and their staff. They are the best!

Smoothie King you have made Robeck’s your jester in the court of healthy beverages. With your catchy slogan of «chewing is overrated» you have my business and my heart forevermore.
Walking into to Smoothie King I was struck by how colorful the store is. Eye candy ads with brilliant colors make me want to buy organic snacks because they look so fun. The menu is varied, every fruit you can think of married to others in a 20 oz cup. Options to add up to three of their extra shots without changing the flavor inspired me to add an energy boost AND a multivitamin to my drink. I like the piña colada smoothie and appreciated Tyler, the attractive man manning the counter, letting me know my drinks can be made with a natural sugar that takes off 100 calories. Losing weight just by drinking, a dream brought to FRUIT-​ion by Smoothie King.
A fun fact about Smoothie King is that they care about our country. The owner recently shipped 200 smoothies to our troops in Iraq. Not really sure how the logistics of shipping a frozen beverage to a desert country went down, but the action itself I’m sure was appreciated
