So delicious and great atmosphere. Got a pep with pineapple, on point and super nice crust. Even the house salad was done proper! Will be back to try their pastas.

One of the better spots to get pizza in Columbus. We always get carry out since the dining room atmosphere is a bit drafty and stale. The pizza is hand-tossed and flavorful. We haven’t tried any of the other menu options– why bother! Menu is a little pricey though.

The pizza was great and the staff was very friendly and nice. This was the best pizza I’ve had in a while. I will definitely be going back.

Good food, but poor attention to detail. I ordered garlic bread w. cheese and marinara… and they gave me a baguette w. Italian dressing. They also said 20min for the food and it was 40+min; evidently they burned the first pizza and remade it while I waited. I drove 30min out of the way because I wanted some good food, and all I got was cold bread with my pizza. Next time I’m driving the 10min to Mikey’s bc I know they at least can get me the right order.

Tried this gem for the first time on Friday. The open ‘kitchen’ has a cool vibe. The staff is all male, at least from my experience, which was odd at first. But they grew on me. Especially after spending a substantial amount of time with one of the co-owners Ros.(I think that’s how you’d spell it.) As far as the food– it was some delicious pizza. Two of us split a half Supreme and half Pesto Chicken pizza. The crust was perfection, the sauce wasn’t overpowering but packed in the flavor, the toppings were generous and the cheese was melted all the way through. My two tips regarding my own preference would be: 1. Ask for extra pepperoni on the supreme and 2. Ask for less olive oil on the Pesto Chicken. Otherwise, it’s definitely some quality pizza. I’ll tell you what though: if you have the opportunity, go out of your way to strike up a conversation with the man behind the counter, wearing a Marine’s hat, pounding away at whatever his next best catering creation is.

Best NYC pizza in this city. Been dying to try it and tonight we are hooked. 16″ half Mediterranean roasted veggies half supreme. #amazing The staff is super cool. It’s a chill environment and plates are small sized pizza pans. Totally going back. Best pizza pie ever.

I heard about this pizza joint one year ago and had always wanted to try it. I live in the area it’s close and I was curious. I am a fan of New York style pizza and have had some of the best pizza New York has to offer. The Borgata is real deal authentic New York style pizza. The ingredients were fresh and absolutely seasoned to perfection. The crust had that al dente tug that is classically Manhattan. The sauce was well balanced, and hand the acidity that I remember when I was enjoying Ray’s in the city. Well I’m not so homesick for the Big Apple any longer, because a little slice of New York has come to Columbus. I give it five yums on a scale of 5. What

This was our second visit and Borgata is firmly my favorite pizza and pasta restaurant! Sadly, its far enough away from us that I can’t eat here every day. I love the open kitchen! No one is hiding bad habits behind a wall or counter. I just saw a sheet of fresh pizza dough resting. Speaking of pizza dough… WOW! Three of us just shared a 16 inch beauty! The thin crust was tough enough to support our toppings yet was ready to chew with a bubbly crust. The boys enjoyed house made red sauce and«old world»(mini) pepperoni. I drooled over my bbq sauce and mushroom side. Other tables ordered dessrt to go. We debated and reluctantly declined the chocolate raspberry ricotta cheese cake. I’m ready to return again and recommend that you seek out this small pizzeria in a tucked away mini strip mall off 161.

Delicious authentic New York style pizza. The crust is baked to perfection & the toppings/sauce are flavorful and fresh. One bite & you will be hooked! Don’t forget to try the homemade lemon ricotta cake for dessert– absolute bliss.

Don’t eat the greek pizza. Normally I like this place there other pizzas are good. The greek pizza is disappointing, their definition of tzatziki sauce is greek yogurt mixed with lettuce, onion and tomatoes. It’s not a proper tzatziki sauce, also they douse the lettuce in it and it’s given to you in a separate container. The amount of meat on the pizza is a joke, there is very little meat, it’s basically a cheese pizza with white sauce. I do not recommend eating the greek, you will be disappointed. I give 2 stars because the other pizzas are good otherwise it would be one star.

It makes me so sad to do, but Borgata is getting a serious downgrade from me today. I have always had take-out from Borgata, but we went in last night(for my birthday dinner — I wanted my favorite pizza!) around 6:45. We walked in, nobody greeted us. We waited. A staff member eventually came over and asked if we wanted to pull some chairs from an occupied table to and sit at the lone two-top at the other side of the restaurant… we didn’t. We declined and waited a moment while a recently vacated table was cleared out. The man brought us some menus and told us to help ourselves to a fountain drink and he’d be back to take our order. Getting your own drinks seems like the norm here, so it wasn’t a big deal. However, 10 minutes later and the waiter still hasn’t come back to take our order? Not good. We ended up leaving after 15 minutes. No birthday pizza for me.

We’ve been twice now, the 7yr old requested to come back, so you know it’s good. The staff & Everyone in the kitchen are so super nice. The pizzas are very tasty, but a bit on the greasy side, but we definitely overlook this due to the taste. We always get the garlic bread to start, & extra sauce for dipping or soaking. I would have given this place 5 stars if it was just a bit bigger. We don’t live close enough to get it to go, so we always have to sit in, which is totally fine with us.

Try to dine-in if you want to eat here. Getting it to go is a really bad idea, since I’m guessing most people are like me and live no where near here. By the time you get home the pizza is cold :( For some reason I needed to get the biggest pizza. Keeping it NY style, they still cut it into 8 slices. That means each slice of pizza is literally the size of a dinner plate. And they put on a decent amount of toppings too! Liked the crust, sauce, pepperoni, but it probably would have been way better to eat it there. We’ll try it again soon!

Whoaaa! Upon arriving, there happen to be a gal behind the counter ringing up a bill. Since I had been looking at this place’s pics via Unilocal,I was all kinds of excited! I did get a quick sample of the pesto sauce to take to my table. What the ****!! Best pesto sauce I’ve ever tasted. ALL of their sauces are made in-house. You could definitely tell this liquid was authentic. Is that Parmesan cheese mixed in? Too. Die. For. Four of us Unilocalers total, thus a good range of items for eye candy! I chose the 16″ Pesto Chicken pizza suggestion. However, subbed crumbled sausage for the grilled cluck strips. It was amazingly good. The light, flavorful crust. They use olive oil, so the tiny drips from the crust didn’t make the dough soggy at all. Plenty of gooey cheese. The sausage paired perfectly with the pesto sauce. If I had their homemade recipe for that sauce, I’m pretty sure it’d be drizzling it on every meal I eat! The pizza is every bit of 16″ — I couldn’t even eat half of that puppy. Fantastic excuse for a few tasty lunches ;) Tom was kind enough to let me try a few strings of their spaghetti. ***Smile*** Really, trying to put it into words is useless, only that I can say this is the real deal. The al dente pasta was chewy, but not undercooked. The pasta sauce(which, by the way, had a great tomato taste: zesty, not tart-y, well rounded on the tongue) clung to the noodles, so patrons are not left with a puddle of watered down tomato sauce. I couldn’t pass up some take-home dessert. I got a slice of their made from scratch Lemon Ricotta Cake. Cheesecake in between thick, moist cake. Hello, lemon! Not overbearing; great zesty taste to treat the tastebuds. Service was great — not pushy. Price points coincide with the quality and portions. I’m impressed. Understand why this joint made it on Columbus’ Top 100 Restaurants list! Definitely recommend!

I decided to try the pasta this time around. …ordered spaghetti noodles with alfredo sauce and grilled chicken. I didn’t know their noodles are all homemade. if you like homemade noodles they are good but I wasn’t a fan. The noodles were too thick and absorbed all the sauce. luckily I asked for extra sauce which I had to use instead of using for when I ate the next day. The sauce was good but wasn’t enough sauce since noodles consumed it all. I also ordered garlic bread which wasn’t good as the first time… it was pretty burnt this time which was unfortunate because I spent $ 5 on it. Definitely not getting pasta again, I’ll stick with the pizza. The kid taking our order has ear thing in his ear listening to music. surprised he got my order right. Listen to music on your break, but not good way to represent customer service!

My faux pas was to review this without a dine in experience. The staff was friendly. The salad was so fresh and robust with flavor. The Italian dressing was homemade delish. Lots of garlic. Our thin, well done pepperoni pizza was packed with flavor. Pie cut New York style. The owners made face time for us. The food, and those guys are the reason«word of mouth» has put this place on the repeat list. Desserts are wonderful, non dessert pizza items.

I am on record as saying that I believe that Borgata makes some of the best pizza in Columbus. I have never had occasion to question that opinion. Furthermore, I’ve recommended it repeatedly over the years to friends and random strangers. Numerous people have visited based on my advice, and not once have I heard a negative response. What makes it so good you ask? Great! I’ll tell you. Start with the crust. It’s sooooo goooooood. You know how people(kids especially) will eat the pizza leaving just crusts behind? Not here. You’ll be fighting over it instead. The flavors are deep and complex. The texture is perfect. Crispy on the outside, bready and creamy within. Next the toppings. High quality all around. No canned mushrooms here. And the pepperoni is better than any I’ve had. They’re small, and curl at the edges. But they taste like a true cured meat, not just generic spice. Finally, the service. The owners are almost always there and they’re super friendly. They take great pride in their work, and it shows. It’s also fun to watch the dough being tossed and pizza being made in the open kitchen. Word definitely seems to be getting out that this is the place to be for Columbus pizza. I’ve been coming for years, and our most recent visit was the busiest I’ve seen it. Downside was, it took a while to get our food. So yes, sometimes you might wait a while. But the wait will be well worth it.

It took me awhile, but I convinced myself to drive over here last Friday night to get some pizza. If your GPS sucks like mine, it’ll take you on to the part of 161 that’s parallel to the Main St, but the place is just behind the Dunkin Donuts. The place is seat yourself and has a pretty lively atmosphere. We were able to get one of the last tables available at about 7:30. Service was a bit slow at first, but the girl was very nice and accommodating. You actually go up and refill your own drinks which is convenient when the place is slammed. They offer quite a few different pizza options, and as we sat there, we watched these giant pizzas coming out. They were HUGE. We went with a 16″ pepperoni, onion, and garlic pizza and hoped it wasn’t one of those, which looked like the 20″ pizzas they have. I also put in an order of the spicy garlic wings. The pizza ended up coming out before the wings, surprisingly. I think the wings are baked, because I didn’t see any fryers, and they really didn’t taste fried. They were decent, but not the best I’ve had in Columbus. The pizza, however, was fantastic. It’s pretty flimsy, so you’ll have to fold it up like a taco, but the flavor and ingredients are amazing, and the crust is out of this world. I would just eat breadsticks for dinner if they tasted like that. The girlfriend and I really liked it a lot, although she’s more of a brick oven pizza kind of person, so it wasn’t her favorite in town. I don’t think I’d order the wings next time, so I could focus all on scarfing down the awesome pizza, which we ended up taking almost half of home. I left a little room for a cannoli, because it’s a cannoli, and if it’s on the menu, I’m ordering it. I was going with the original, but then she told me they had a Buckeye one, with chocolate filling and peanut butter chips, so I said sign me up for that. The shell and peanut butter was great, but I think I would have preferred regular ricotta. Still, it wasn’t bad. This pizza gets pretty close to the pizza I get back home in Connecticut so big props for that. I wish it was a bit closer, because I’d definitely be a regular, but having it a bit further out of my neighborhood will make it more of a treat to get now. To all the Unilocalers who told me this place rocks, thank you for giving me the motivation to check it out!
