A little record store with a twist. You can get your wig busted. The husband and wife team that run the store are great and you can always find a good bargain in the budget bin. They also have original art and jewelery for sale made by local artisans. Stop in!

Visited this hair salon/record store for the first time on Record Store Day ’15, so I have a weirdly rose coloured view of this place.(And, in fairness, I did not come here for hair related purposes.) It was quite a carnival atmosphere with food trucks, artists, and a line of folks listening to good music. So vinyl record afficainados, here is what you need to know. This place has a smallish selection compared to Magnolia, Spoonful, or Used Kids, but the eclectic mix of new and old may allow you to stumble across a few gems. Despite being there on what I suspect was the busiest day of the year, I managed to find four used records I had been seeking for years and a few RSD15 items that had been sold out at other places. The people running this place may, on paper, just be small businesspeople, but you can tell they are doing it because they love it. And that makes all the difference. Put this onto your musical rotation, and get a haircut, too, I suppose.

Broken Records and Beehives is a fun and unique small business. Especially for music fans. Cool, but not too cool, and in that way, it’s very«Columbus». If you’re tired of bland, overpriced, and über-suburban options, this is a refreshing place to get a haircut. My fiancé and I are both fans. Added perks? — Conveniently located in Grandview. Short drive for downtown residents or an easy diversion on the way home for suburbanites. — Easy parking. — They have Todd Cleveland. Great guy, accomodating, and excellent for easy trims or more complex stuff. — Reasonably priced.
