I went in there on a Monday around 6 ish. There was no wait and I was seated immediately after signing in. Hair cut was ok. The owner lady is nice but she either couldn’t or wouldn’t give me a fade despite my asking a couple of times. Where does an Asian dude have to go for a decent fade? I’d go again if you were buying.

I have to say for the price you pay and the service you get its just a sweet deal. What I love about this company is the owner-shes the sweetest! She takes great pride in hiring and is sure to let people go if they don’t meet expectation(as it should be). I really like that you don’t have to make an appt and they’re very accommodating even if they’re busy. For instance offering the remote, magazines and water. None of my haircuts have been perfect but I have been content and have always left feeling taken care of better looking than when I walked in. I recommend you try it out if your looking to save money and want a decent do. If your looking for Charles Penzone its gonnna cost you 10x as much as in my experience wasn’t that must great of a cut. I’ve had my hair colored here and have got lots of compliments for their ability to match well with skin tone and such and I love that the tanning salon is right next door so you can get all your beautification done before a hot date all in one stop. My car has always been safe, food next door is edible and the lf you have any complaints there is a liquor store across the street. Definitely the best place for a student and someone who likes to support small business owners and shop local.

It’s been almost three years and I always get my haircut here. It’s amazing. I bet you cannot find another location offers such great deal with a nice haircut($ 8.99 with coupon). In order to maintain my mohawk, I go there every three weeks. People there are very friendly and funny. I personally enjoy the atmosphere. The haircut is always great. Also, it’s walk in. If you want to get your hair cut in this minute, you can totally just go there, sit down. No need to call, to schedule and no need to worry about whether the appointment would have conflict with your daily activity. So it deserved a five stars for sure.

You get what you pay for. This is an 8 dollar hair cut and Ive been going to these folks for years. I like to keep it simple and thats their cup of tea. If you have some crazy complicated request then you may want to try another place, although I bet they could probably handle it. I dont see many ladies in there, but every now and then I notice some, so the place isnt only a barber shop. The biggest reason I keep going back, honestly, is the people. These ladies are NUTS! In a good way :) They are hilarious and get me cracking up no matter how rushed I am, or how crappy my day has been. Who woulda thought a haircut could do that much.

Granted, I had a coupon for a 5.99 cut, but that doesn’t excuse the miserable job they did with my haircut. I was looking for a simple trim, all with clippers. I’ve gone to a lot of chain«salons» and never had any real issues when all I have to do is give them a number or two for my hair length. The stylist who cut my hair barely used the clippers(as in, she never went over a spot more than once). She had to re-do the trimming on the back of my neck because she completely missed a spot. I have had to use my own clippers to fix the spots she missed(most of my hair). While I understand I didn’t pay a lot for the haircut, I will certainly spend the additional 5 dollars at a Great Clips or Supercuts in the future.

I got my hair cut here once back in the mid aughts. It’s the cheapest, no coupon required, haircut you can find in cbus, I’m pretty sure. The cut was no worse than anything I’ve gotten at places like Great Clips or Saturday’s. If you’re a dude, and you’re just getting your shit buzzed/trimmed down, you should probably just go here. If you’re a fancy hipster/yupster type, you may want to stick to Lucky 13 or Cuts on High. I’ve got no recommendations for you chicks. My guess would be you shouldn’t go here.

If you’re looking for a $ 7.99 haircut, Campus Cuts is the place to find it. Check out the picture– it even says it in the window! How can you go wrong with a haircut at such an attractive price? Well… Growing up on haircuts from the Famous Hair in a strip mall about a mile from my parents house made the transition from a well-known chain in Akron to this North Campus salon seem like a seemless affair. All was fine until I decided to grow my hair out for a year and see what would happen. It turned out that I had the thick wavy hair that lurches stylists awake in a cold sweat at 2 in the morning. I decided to take my business back here and see what would happen, just to humor them I suppose. The first cut was a simple trim, and given that I wear a hat 90% of the time, it seemed adequate enough for the $ 7.99 I paid for it. After the second, third, and fourth trip back, however, things got a little out of hand. I managed to have a different stylist every time, with each of them giving me the same perplexed look when I told them what I wanted to do with my hair. Without going in to details, I’ll just put it this way: I went in with what resembled a Jewfro and left with what looked like some sort of Eurotrash variation on a mullet. Now the hat I always wore became a necessity, not just an accessory chosen on my own volition. I went back once about a year after that when my hair was shorter, thinking there was no way they could screw it up, but I found out the hard way that this was not the case. Granted, my hair isn’t the easiest to work on, but if my 19 year old sister that’s in cosmetology school can figure out the look I’m going for without me having to give her a 10 point plan of attack complete with an accompanying Powerpoint visual, I think this place should be able to get it right at least half the time. Alas, the $ 7.99 hair cut is no longer part of my reality. I now pay $ 20 for an awesome hair cut three blocks down the street at Studio Posh, a truly excellent and comfortably stylish establishment that gets my full-on endorsement in another review of mine. I highly recommend checking that out before you get sucked in to the same econo-trap that I did so many times.
