Charming Charlie – Columbus

One of the best stores at Polaris. I go here a lot more now that they send out frequent coupons. I particularly like the rose gold collections, anything nautical, and mint. It is very easy to spend $ 50 in here, but you will get several items. Always worth the time to stop in.

My wife and I went to Polaris store Sunday. The sign said $ 5 … but they said NO!
They need to check their signs and be accurate.

LOVE this place!!! I stopped in here with some friends on a Saturday night and instantly fell in love with this place. They have a great variety of jewelry — now don’t think you’re going to get the cheapie stuff here, you wont. You’re not going to have to ‘pay through the nose’ in here either. They have a great selection — all sorted by color and by style. You can spend hours in here! I know that there is something in here for everyone. Be sure to stop over by the clearance area to find more bargains!!! I will definitely be back to shop again!!!

This is my new favorite store.
As of yesterday afternoon I had never been in one, and within the last 24hrs I have now been there twice and bought more than I planned each time.
I had heard about it for over a year, but never had the occasion to go there, and I already have a full jewelry box, so goodness knows I don’t need anything else, but WOW. I was really surprised how beautiful and reasonably priced their merchandise was. I was only browsing casually until I checked the price on a necklace I kind of liked and when I saw it was cheaper than you usually find them on accessories racks at clothing stores, I was sold. I started looking a lot more seriously. I had to stop looking after a while because I just kept finding beautiful things. And then I came home and was sharing the website with someone and saw on the website about some of the stocking stuffers, some of which I had missed when I was there yesterday, so off I went this morning to go back and I got some great stocking stuffers for my mom (and a few more things for me, oops).
I may need a bigger jewelry box.

This is a Claire’s on steroids! Fantastic, inexpensive costume jewelry, purses and accessories.

This place is like Claire’s for grown-​ups!
I’d walked by this store a number of times and never been, but one of my friends pulled me inside today and I’m glad she did. They mostly have jewelry and accessories, and everything is organized by color! Why aren’t more places organized by color? They have tons of cheap necklaces, earrings, purses, and the like.
There was a whole wall of just butterfly themed stuff, a wall of dragonfly themed stuff, and a wall of owl themed stuff. They stock jewelry in every color imaginable. I was looking for a bronze colored broach, and even though an employee told me that «we don’t really do like, brown here… it’s not one of our colors,» they had tons of bronze, brown, and copper colored items too, so I don’t know what the heck he was talking about. (Just for the record, if anyone tells you that brown is not a color, they are lying. I haven’t been in school for awhile, but I distinctly remember learning that brown is a color.) I didn’t find a broach; however, I did find a glittery rhinestone whale necklace that I almost bought, but then I remembered that my rent is due next week and decided that maybe I should spend my money on that and not whale bling.
Really, most of this was just not my style, but I don’t wear much jewelry anyway, and I really love my guitar purse from Waterbeds & Stuff so I’m not looking to replace it anytime soon. One thing I did notice was that they seemed to have many of the same items at the different color stations, so you’re seeing the same things over and over again, just in different colors. As I said, not usually my thing, but if I had to get dressed up for an event, I would definitely come here to accessorize.
If you’re easily distracted by sparkly things, be prepared to get lost for awhile.

This is what I have to say about Charming Charlie.
1)Don’t come here if you have someplace you need to be later on.
2)Don’t come here if you don’t like to browse.
3)If you have ADD, come here.
4)If you’re broke, it’s okay, come here anyway. They sometimes have sales and clearance stuff. I got 5 rings for $ 1 each. REALLY. They rock.

Pure jewelry bliss. LOVE Charming Charlies. A friend of mine told me about this place and how amazing it was. I made the trip from Marysville to Polaris just to see what it was all about. It is kinda tricky to find if you’re not familiar with Polaris. It’s on the outside of the Polaris Mall. Basically if you walk in the front doors of Borders, walk straight out the back doors and turn left and CC will be on your right.
Charming Charlies is the ultimate jewelry nirvana. If you can find a matching piece of jewelry for that fave outfit of yours, something is wrong. Every color under the rainbow of jewelry is here. They have everything grouped by color for easier shopping/​matching. Gorgeous pieces and so many different styles to choose from. Truly this may become an additction going to CC’s. If you’re an accessory nut like me you HAVE to high tail it over pronto. Trust me you will be in awe.

A friend of mine recently told me about this store and I wanted to share the wealth. Charming Charlie’s is amazing! I’m not a fashionista by any means but want to accessorize more. Since I don’t have a million dollars to spend on the chochkeys from department stores, this is an amazing way to look like a million dollars on a hundred dollar budget. Seriously. I bought 3 pashmina scarves, 4 versatile necklaces, 2 gorgeous bracelets, & a pair of earrings for about that. Of course, at these prices the quality isn’t going to be outstanding (esp when they’re paying Polaris rent) but this is THE BEST store for accessories I’ve ever found. And I like to switch up my look anyway so I’m fine with quantity over quality. If you haven’t already, do yourself a favor and check out Charming Charlies!
Also, my mind tends to compartmentalize so the organization of colors within the store is outstanding. I’ll agree with the other reviewer that they pack a lot of square footage. It’s a lot to digest. Guess I’ll just have to go back. Again & again… and again!
Suggestion-​Go with a budget in mind because you WILL go crazy!

Ladies of Columbus, this is your mecca for affordable, yet cute/​trendy accessories. Insanely overwhelming… but in a good way. My sister and I stumbled upon this place when we were walking around Polaris and pretty much gasped when we went inside. Rings, necklaces, and earrings oh my! It’s got it all.
The place is packing a lot of square footage, so it can take you awhile to see everything. To be helpful, the store is organized by color so you can wander to a particular section depending on what you need.
The staff was super friendly and willing to help if need be. Once I picked my jaw up off the floor, I was just content to browse. While it’s not the finest craftsmanship on the planet, the prices are fantastic if you’re looking to pick up a few pieces for an evening or two rather than hold on to it for a lifetime.
