Standingg room as you enter for a reason. The only trouble our table had was trying to choose what to order. Everything looks so inviting. Settled on the jalapeño holly and was not disappointed. Tasty and adequate servings. After embarking on my plate and ventured to others at the table. Wasn’t disappointed with the broccoli salad or the grape salad

I invited 6 family friends to join me at this location in COLUMBUS, GA. I had heard if I wanted good chicken salad, this was the place to go. This was not the case today. I ordered sour dough bread (which was stale and almost hard) and a pecan, grape chicken salad. This was dry as a bone and very little flavor. The grapes couldn’t even give it the moistness it so needed. I had a pasta side salad which tasted days old and it was almost so cold it was frozen. This too was absolutely tasteless. My sister had some sort of broccoli soup or something that looked like broccoli and she couldn’t eat it because it tasted like there was way too much flour in the soup. She’s a fantastic southern cook and knows food. My brother said his sandwich was just like the rest of ours. My husband had what I had and we all established this was not the place we would return for lunch. There are too many good places to eat.

THISISWHEREITSAT!!! if you would have ever told me I would be raving about eating chicken salad I would have called you crazy and if you added it would be a restaurant that serves primarily chicken salad I would have immediately took you to the hospital and had you examined but here I am — can’t say enough about my experience
first things first — the atmosphere — nothing super special but there is a special charm — the staff was way above the norm — super helpful and friendly — on more than one occasion different staff was at the table making sure everything was fine
the food (chicken salad) was out of this world — i had the trio and picked kickin kaylynne, Olivia old South, and classic carol — the classic was a little plain compared to the other two but still good and was easily enough for two people — which makes the 11 $ price tag for that and a coke a little easier to take
overall this is a must try for anyone that likes chicken (period).
update: I’ve got the wife hooked on this place now… anytime she knows I’m near a CSC she expects a meal — she prefers ones with fruit and nuts in it… me kickin kaylynne and sassy scotty are my favs

Really great chicken salads! My husband got the trio and I got the classic combo. We’ll be going back I’m sure of it! :)

My favorite place for lunch in town! There’s a chicken salad for everyone. Love that it’s not too wet and that they offer healthy sides. Consistently good quality and very friendly staff. Offer’s a 10% military discount as well.

I’m here right now and just finished a delicious jalapeño Holly on croissant with lettuce and tomato. I ordered the special, which also comes with a side, a cookie, and a pickle spear. I ordered the broccoli salad as my side. I like my own recipe for broccoli salad but there’s is so much better. It has just enough liquid and allows the broccoli to remain crisp. I may try to replicate their recipe. So… I had a croissant sandwich, a nice sized serving of broccoli salad, a delicious cookie and a pickle spear. Everything was perfect! I had water to drink and my bill was only 8.01!!! Perfect!

Wondering if the food trays are pre made due to the quickness of service and texture of bread. The food is good however there needs to be a more strict policy for the food handlers. Not happy about the hair found in the midst of my chicken salad sandwich.

The food is great without a doubt, but the customer service is not so much. We usually don’t have a problem with them but here lately every time we go the staff is rude and when asking to speak to a manager, I was informed that the manager was the one I spoke with over the phone that was so rude to my friend. Other than that they are fast and taste great!

Since my initial review I was pleasantly surprised to be contacted by a representative of the Chicken Salad Chick marketing team who requested I provide my contact information to the owner of this franchise. She did call me and she was gracious and apologetic for the negative experience we had during our last visit. She even went so far as to invite me and my family back for a complimentary lunch to make it up to us. So it looks like I will be back, because even though I still think it’s a bit expensive, the food is definitely tasty! Good job Chicken Salad Chick…

Price is a bit high but you’re paying for quality. I don’t get the meals, I buy the chicken salad by the pound and take it home and it’s a great deal. If the meals were a couple $ cheaper I’d give it 5 stars but for now it’ll just continue to get orders to go.

Have been many times and seem to enjoy more each time. The chicken salad is delicious and very filling, atmosphere is great and the staff is very nice. I eat out every day for lunch and think this is one of the best deals in columbus.

Very delicious and filling. A tad overpriced, however I enjoy the food very much! And I really like the cookie that comes with the meal. Careful– if they have been busy they can run out of various flavors! It is also fun to get some to go and munch on it at home!

this place is amazing!!! i went for the first time saturday and they couldnt open soon enough on monday for me to get some more! i live in atlanta and unfortunately we don’t have one yet!

Absolutely great. By far the best lunch option in columbus under $ 10.
Given how crowded the place is every day, I am shocked that the reviews on Unilocal are not much higher.
I have taken 10 people there already and everyone loved it.

Went yesterday for the first time. Doubt I will return. The food was decent, but overpriced for what it is. I got a chicken salad sandwich, a side (a very small portion of broccoli salad), a cookie and drink for almost $ 10.00. The food wasn’t bad, but was hard to enjoy knowing I got ripped off. I wouldn’t have minded paying $ 6.00 or so (tops) for a meal like that.

This place is great. So excited we have one in Columbus. It is slightly small and crowded during lunch, but worth it. I have tried 3 of the chicken salads and they were all great. Each plate comes with a side and a cookie! Not too shabby. My husband even likes to go grab lunch to go from here often. You can eat for under $ 10 and get pretty full! Worth the trip.
