Never got a chance to try the food. The server blamed the kitchen, but I was in full view of the kitchen and did not see a back up. The manager did not offer to comp our beers or anything even though we had to get up and catch a flight. We sat down with well over an hour before boarding and they are now calling our flight. There are other places to eat in the airport, so try those instead. One star due to the service. Update: We then asked for our food to go, was told it would be right out. 10 minutes later we just got up to leave and stood in front of the register to pay for our two beers and forget the food. Finally the manager(Jody) came over and told us we could get our food and it would only take a few more minutes.(We ordered one of their regular sandwiches and a salad — not too tough to prep). We declined and then he told us he would take the food off our bill but we still had to pay for the beer. Bad, bad, bad customer service. I know they have captive and transient customers, but this was very poor management.

It took 20 minutes until a waiter stopped by my table. After reading the other reviews this seems to be a systematic problem.

Breakfast at 9am an NO eggs, except eggbeaters. Coffee just warm, not hot. Not busy, so should be better. I understand it is an airport lication, but …

Service was a little slow with its a very bad thing considering they are at the Columbus Airport Terminal. I had plenty of time so no worries, at least this once. I had the Chipotle chicken bowl. It was bland and I had to dump a lot of salt and pepper on it to get some flavor. Chipotle burrito bowls are much better at half the price. Too bad they don’t have a CHIPOTLE at CMH.

I try to avoid eating at the airport, whenever possible, since airport food tends to be way overpriced. But sometimes, you don’t have a choice… as was the case when my flight out of CMH to ATL was delayed for 3 hours recently. The food was typical Chili’s, and the price was honestly not that bad for it being an airport restaurant… but the service was inexcusably poor. It literally took 45 minutes after being seated for the waitress to even come talk to us to get our order in! Granted we were in no hurry thanks to our 3 hour flight delay, but still… And despite multiple flights being delayed in the same terminal, the restaurant itself was not packed. Once we got our orders in, the food came out in around 20 minutes, which is pretty good. As we were finishing up our meal, our waitress then comes to us and asks«Do you guys need anything right now, because I’m about to go on break for 15 minutes.» I get it that workers all need breaks, but if you’re gonna go on a break, shouldn’t you ask one of the other servers to cover for you while you’re gone instead of telling your customer that you’re not going to get service for the next 15 minutes? At that point, we just asked for our check, paid, and got out of there ASAP. Do not eat here if you have a flight to catch. If their service is always like this, there’s a good chance this restaurant will make you miss your flight.

It’s an airport Chili’s, so can it really be reviewed? The service was very slow and the prices were ridiculous. The view of the tarmac is nice though.

I was there on the evening of sunday 5⁄17. First, when I arrived a staff person swiftly told me to seat myself wherever I wanted. She didn’t even great me. She was moving fast, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt that things were hectic. But, then I sat down and realized the place was only about 50% full. I was seated for at least 10 to 15 minutes and not one server came to me. I noticed TWO different servers approach 3 different tables while I was waiting. One of those incidents was at a table immediately across from me. The other was a table nearby. The 3rd instance it was a patron that sat down well after me. At that time I approached one of those servers and told her that I have been waiting and another patron was being served. The server gave me a «calm down» toned response and asked where I was sitting. She someone would be right with me and said something to the effect telling me to wait. I sat down, but then changed my mind and no longer wanted to give this place my business. On my way out I informed informed a manager of my experience and all he said was that he’d looked into it. He didn’t bother to thank me and didn’t seem bothered at all. Completely disappointing.

As a creature of habit I always stop by Chilis on my way back home. Nice to have a beer/shot special even at airport prices. Nice to see they keep Yuengling on tap last one before heading back to the West Coast. The bartender Genevieve is a peach! Nice to see a smiling face before a long flight.

Lousy service! Lousy food. Dont waste your time — eat somewhere else. Waitstaff needs better training and better attitudes.

What a interesting combination of life I had to deal with at this Chili’s. With a week off of work, I flew up to Columbus to visit a dear friend that I had not seen since I moved to Florida. From there, I was travelling to Dallas to visit a college friend and see the Red Wings take on the Stars. After a quick 1.5 days in Texas, I was headed back to Tampa. Was able to avoid the myriad weather delays on the way in to Ohio, but had no such luck on the way out. I was simultaneously worried about the delay, being able to get to Texas at all, and the squabble I was having with my significant other back home. Eff this, I need a beer. Headed down to Chili’s and grabbed the biggest Yuengling draft they had to calm my nerves. It was getting to be about dinner time, and with no end in sight for the delay, decided to get some wings as well. They did the job, nothing special. I know, airport prices, but I was still shocked to pay more for the beer($ 10) than the wings($ 8). Server was more interested in chatting with the bartender. Would much rather have gone to Donato’s but it was not open. To conclude this story: after a four hour delay, I was put on a flight to St. Louis five minutes before it left and connected to a different Dallas flight from there, arriving marginally later than I was originally scheduled to.

There should always be a bar at the TSA security exit like this one. Drinks were kinda pricey but always are at these joints. They’re cheaper at Donato’s a little further down the hall.

Not entirely terrible, and the only real option in concourse B anyway. I had a simple bacon burger and fries. It was not bad. About the same price as I would’ve paid outside the airport too.

$ 14 for a low-quality margarita after tax and tip? I realize that this is an airport and all but c’mon! Chilis is exploiting their monopoly power in Concourse A right now. It’s the only sit-down place past security and the only place where you can get alcohol. And believe me, you will pay dearly for that privilege.
