It is what it is. So so pizza, but a lot of it and CHEAP! I don’t agree with the one star ratings because those posters are comparing Cici’s to a regular pizzeria with better pizza of course but much higher prices. Cici’s is not your grandfather’s pizza shop.

Is it possible to give a business no stars? I hope so because cicis deserves it. Digorno makes a better pizza as does dominos. But I guess if you’re cheap and want a ton of awful food on the cheap, this the place.

The business concept is good… this is one of those places that survives because of Moms wanting to feed the family, without the hassle of ordering, and doing so cheaply, and quickly. This concept also applies to other«groups» of people, ie; traveling student groups, ect. However, the food is terrible. Some of the worst pie in Columbus. Cardboard crust with bland sauce and canned toppings, and served luke warm… yuck. If you fall into the top category, good for you, but if your after good pie, stay away from this place.

Cici’s…what can I say about Cici’s? First, you’re welcomed at the front door with«Welcome to Cici’s!» which is kinda cool, yet campy. I know it’s something they’re trained to do, and it probably gets old after the first few times they do it, but it is neat when it’s delivered with sincerity. You go up to the front register and pay for whatever it is you’re getting. Two adults, two children«do you want drinks with that?» and you’re done. If you like unlimited pizza, salad, desserts and fountain beverages, this is the place to be. Unless you hate cartoons and children, because whenever this place is even remotely busy, there are tons of children of all ages running around, back and forth, touching the food and begging their parents for quarters to use in the game room. Granted, I have seen parents managing their children«No, Jimmy, don’t lick that!» but I’ve also seen young children completely unsupervised, hands clearly unwashed, up at the pizza and dessert area; a bit scary. The television in the corner generally has child-age channels playing, which speaks to the demographic of this restaurant/location. This is a very casual location. An inexpensive place to treat the kids where they can stuff their faces and it doesn’t cost you any extra regardless of how much they can eat. Having said that, there are a few cool features: the salad bar. No kid in their right mind will go near a salad bar. So it’s probably the most germ-free. In the same area, they have pasta, along with marinara and Alfredo sauce. Next, we have the pizza; and what a selection they have. As the pizza selection changes rapidly, I can only say that they generally offer a few different types of standard pizzas and then the specialty pizzas — like the taco pizza with taco fixings on top. If you don’t see a specific type of pizza you want, and they have the ingredients, just ask and they’ll make one just for you. They also make crustless pizza bowls, so you can avoid the bread carbs — but you need to special order these just like the pizzas. The special pizzas take a few minutes, depending on how busy they are, but they are pretty fast… don’t be afraid to special order, as they’re really friendly. Wings…they have wings. One time, back when they first started carrying wings, the guy offered me a sample so I could compare them with the local wing chain — they were pretty good. Oh, by the way, if you’re vegan? I’m pretty much sure the only thing you can eat here is a salad. You might want to ask them what they put in the crust and sauce, but it seems like it’d be a minefield of cross-contamination back there. Never hurts to ask, though; they might surprise you. This really isn’t my go-to place as a vegan. Last but certainly not least are the desserts: brownies and cinnamon rolls. If you stuff yourself on pizza, salad, garlic breadsticks(yum!) and soda pop, you will regret being too full to eat these super fresh and tasty desserts. Protip: if something doesn’t look fresh, particularly the staples like breadsticks and desserts, you can always ask for a fresh batch to be made; I’ve asked myself, and seen others ask as well. They are more than happy to accommodate.(This might also be a tactful way to get a clean slice if you’re afraid you may have just seen someone«accidentally» putting their hands all over that pizza you were about to yoink.) In the end, this is a fun, inexpensive place to eat. The staff is almost always extra friendly, courteous and helpful; I just wish they had a clown or a gal in a rabbit suit sitting there monitoring the kids. «Oooh-ho-ho, Johnny! No touching the pizza unless its on your plate, yuk-yuk!» or «Excuse me little boy, but licking the spatula then putting it back makes Mister Bun Bun cry…» The staff could listen for key words, then replace the item and all associated utensils… just saying. (P.S. I wish I could say the kids-touching-food thing is an anecdotal example; it’s not. I’ve witnessed this happening more frequently than I’d care to recall.)

This is a rather large business on the west side of Columbus. It shares space with a Walmart and a Petsmart. I stopped there today for lunch and for less than $ 5(yes you read that right!!) I got as much to eat as I wanted. The pizza is made fresh and kept that way by all of the diners coming up for refills. It was a great meal.

My family loves to eat there. With a picky eater the variety makes it possible to please everyone. The staff and manager are nice and have been very helpful with any special requests. The manager Quinn, always says hello to me and recognizes me by my first name.

Love their cinnamon rolls haha, and I like the fact you can request certain pizza and they’ll bring it right to your table so you know it’s hot and fresh. Usually their pizza is pretty fresh and enjoyable enough. Steer clear of the arcade though they have GH arcade… and for you GH addicts such as myself you end up paying 1.00 for 1 song. The staff is usually friendly but every once in a while you get a rude person that works there but it seems they are quickly fired dismissed moved or what have you.

I love crappy pizza! It’s not fancy, and not great, but it’s good. You can get a ton to eat, and they have desserts! What more could you want from a buffet?

If you’re like me, when you plan to indulge in pizza, it means pizza only. No greens allowed. You don’t go to mess with bowls, pasta prongs, or marinara sauce. Behold the heavenly concept of a pizza buffet. Chances are, as soon as you enter a CiCi’s Pizza, you’ll feel like you’re revisiting a birthday at a Chuck E. Cheese. You’ll probably see a small arcade and a dozen sauce-stained kids loitering by the Coke machine. CiCi’s pizza is definitely family-oriented, which I’m sure is primarily how they stay afloat. Someone please let me know if a pizza buffet with beer is ever discovered. The pizza is good for the price. At least it’s made fresh right in front of you, and the poor employees forced to yell at incoming guests to remind them what restaurant they just walked into work hard to keep the buffet stocked and the spatulas tucked underneath the pizzas for your convenience. The manager or owner is very animated in the kitchen. He’s usually the loudest one greeting new guests. If you’ve ever seen the Domino’s Two Times Tuesday commercials, where the manager makes a customer give him a «Hoo-Hah!,» you know exactly what’s going on in this CiCi’s kitchen. He’ll even leave the kitchen and walk around the dining area to chat with guests. While CiCi’s is family-oriented, I’m giving it three stars anyway because I feel sticky from the moment I enter. If you manage to spot a table, snatch it up after you pay but before you get your tray and two starter plates. Available tables are rare during the dinner rush, and you’ll probably find yourself sitting next to a family of five with kids climbing on the seats and staring at you. Yes, the tables have their own napkin dispensers. My CiCi’s favorite is the BBQ chicken pizza, followed by the white garlic cheesy bread. If you don’t find your favorite at the buffet, you can make a request. P. S. If you ever find yourself in a CiCi’s from this point on, I forbid you to leave the establishment without finishing your meal with CiCi’s apple crisp pizza. You have now been warned(and cursed).

Ok, so the pizza is quite terrible(apart from the barbecue chicken which is actually semi-decent, everything tastes the same) but if you want hot fresh SUPER cheap($ 3.99) eats, Cici’s pizza buffet is the place to go. The salad bar is limited but well-stocked. Tables are cleared quickly. Apart from its general mediocrity, the only negative thing is the loud repetative«WELCOMETOCICI’S!!» bellowed by the kitchen staff every time someone walks through the door. Mildy amusing at first, rapidly becomes excrutiatingly irritating…
