This place no longer exists and is now a coffee shop… bummer.

I love vintage! So I was super excited when I read the reviews from my fellow Unilocal folks. However, when I got there I was sadly disappointed. The pictures on Unilocal made the store look organized and bright. When I walked in it was dark and cramped. The selection was just okay and the prices were a bit high or there wasn’t a tag with the price on it. Finally after the fourth item I liked I asked about the price. The customer service was lacking. Not once was I asked if I was finding things okay or if there was anything I was looking for. I bent over to look at the vintage jewelry in the case and she didn’t even ask if there was something I wanted to take a look at. The woman who works there(and friend/sister who was there hanging out talking to her) seemed very disinterested in the few customers that came into the store, including myself. They were on the computer talking about some old stomping grounds where they used to live. By being there, I felt like I was disturbing their social hour. I tried on a dress and came out to look for a belt to add to it. The belt I found didn’t have a tag so I asked. The woman behind the counter seemed a bit annoyed and said, «well I don’t know what belt it is unless you take it off.» She looked at it and responded, «Um, most of the leather belts are $ 32.» I was looking for a stellar belt to go with the dress I was ready to purchase. I was told another customer broke the belt that came with it(but was included) yet never offered to reduce the price. Then again I didn’t ask. It was not a «high end» label and cost $ 48 with a broken belt. Even when I came out of the dressing room there wasn’t a comment — not that I am fishing for compliments but typically in sales there is some sort of appreciation for the customer and the goods that are being sold. I just didn’t feel that. Based on selection and service, I have shopped much better places in C-Bus for vintage. I was hoping this was going to be my new go to place for vintage. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as fabulous as expected.

This is a great consignment store that also has a lot of neat estate jewelry, hand bags, accessories, and small home décor items. I like the small quant feel and it is a nice alternative to Second Chance. The owner actually attends estate sales on a regular basis to find stuff for the store. I’ve come across some pretty high end designer clothing pieces that were tempting to buy because they were priced so well. I have found that when Second Chance rejects the clothing I bring into consign, Coco Couture accepts 80% of it. Not to mention most of it ends up selling and I get some extra cash money to blow on a night out. I purchased an amazing vintage leather belt w/a sick gold metal elephant in the front from here. I love wearing it w/leopard print or faux fur because it makes me feel like a sexy Jack Hanna going on a safari. This definitely isn’t a place for finding something you«need» or wardrobe basics but is great if you like adding eclectic treasures to your wardrobe or need a gift for a friend who appreciates estate, vintage or designer anything. I should note that there’s also plenty of non-designer stuff here too — mall brands are accepted.

Oh what a surprise! Fact #1: It’s no secret I’ve lived in Grandview for quite some time. Fact #2: I’ve always wondered what was in this shop but never could bring myself to walk in and check it out because I feared it was just an «old lady» shop with old consignment items. Fact #3: I’m really in love with this shop after my first(albeit brief visit.) Ladies in search of high-quality, often rare, designer duds: This place is for you! To me the prices were pretty high but everything looked immaculate and some of it still had old tags! Dresses, blouses, purses and shoes, my goodness the place was packed full of good finds! It’s a small store so your overall selections are limited but I don’t doubt you’ll find at least something that tickles your fancy as long as you go in knowing what to expect.

A beautifully displayed dress in the window brought me into the store, and. I found a fabulous cocktail dress on the first rack of clothes. It was meant to be! I’ll definitely go back to see what else I can find!

I was quite pleased when I entered this store. Great selection of vintage as well as higher end brands such as Peter Som. I found a few vintage Yves Saint Laurent blouses that I fell in love with and all were reasonably priced. If vintage or higher end is not your cup of tea, the store also carries more trendy brands like Old Navy and The Limited. To round out their selection they have evening wear, jewelry, bags, accessories and some unique handmade accessories that the owner makes herself. Definitely worth a stop in. I’ll be returning.

I’m not a great shopper. I have a lot of women in my family and apparently, they have birthdays and we share holidays. I find it trite to go to Easton and find a store to find them something they like(I don’t have that kind of money for this current calendar). When I decide to venture into this boutique after coffee(on the way to Easton by the way.) I found a beautiful necklace! At least the young attractive sales associate explained to me why it was beautiful. I did really like it though then she knew so much about the product that it convinced me my sister would like it, beyond why I like it. They were very nice and courteous and I would highly recommend this shop if you truly care about the gift your giving or the gift you’d like!

Coco Couture is nice enough, with a small but quality selection. And by quality I mean the ladies here must have hemmed and hawed over every piece that goes on the racks. Everything looks great, is in style, and is in good quality. You can find everything from classy tops from Old Navy to tops with name brands attached to them, to vintage dresses. Ladies, could you stock more plus sized clothing so I can buy something instead of just drool over it? Thanks.

Thank you Heather A. for introducing me to Coco! I window shopped with pup in tow three times before I finally got to go inside. The window is decorated with some very creative and unique pieces. Once you get in you’ll see some styles that would fare so well with a younger demo. But keep digging, there’s some really cool stuff in there. Do not neglect the sale rack. I found a $ 3 jacket that’s perfect for a spring or fall day. I also found a blue beaded(think Indian) t-shirt, also for $ 3 that just happened to look fabulous under the white jacket! If you can’t tell, it’s a consignment shop. You can bring stuff in, they sell it, and you get a cut. After three months, if it hasn’t been sold, you can pick it up or have it donated. If they have the room and in the mood, I guess, they will create the sale rack. I would also recommend Coco for one of a kind gifts. Just let the recipient know it’s vintage, of course.

Coty and her mom celebrated their grand opening this past weekend and these ladies know how to throw a party!!! Want designer jeans for half the cost? Visit C.C. Also scored the most amazing vintage ring there this past weekend for a cool $ 12. UNREAL. I am addicted to this place and would be happy to spend all my time and money just chatting and browsing! You MUST go there!
