My child just started taking piano lessons there and the instruction has been phenomenal! I’m not sure about the entire staff on site, but my child’s instructor, Ms. Kristen has been so great with everything from flexible scheduling to choosing the proper lesson books for a beginner. She even remembers the names of my children who do not currently take at the school and takes the time to greet and be polite to everyone. A perfect institute to enroll your kids interested in music! 5 Stars.

My child has been taking voice and piano lessons there for years. Most of the instructors are good, but they are young OSU students so they typically move on after they have just started to make some progress. The worst part of this business is the way they do their billing, they withdraw straight from your checking account. My child had to take a month off because they were playing another sport at school and they continued to withdraw from our account. When I finally got someone on the phone they promised to correct it right away. it took 18 days to get credited, in the mean time we bounced 3 checks because of their error. They would not refund the bank charges even though they admit they shouldn’t have processed the withdraw. They never give you notice when there is a price increase and if there is an issue they do not work on site so it is impossible to get a hold of them. The more interested my kids are in music the more I am learning that this is not even close to the best in town. Worth the drive to go to CCT or the music studio on the other side of UA.

Our daughter takes both piano and voice lessons at UA Music Academy. We have been pleased with her progress. Our daughter(she’s ten) not only loves her teacher, but she feels like she has made great progress. Your first time to UAMA, it can be a bit hard to figure out how to get to it. Just north of Lane Ave. on Kenny, there is a street called Legg. Take a right on Legg, and then a right on Wood Ave. The area doesn’t look great, but its safe. The office is on the second floor. The only reason I’m dinging them a point is some of the scheduling goof ups we have had. But don’t let that deter you. Their instructors really are top notch.
