I went here to get a dress for a friend’s wedding and another time to get a suit for some upcoming formal business interviews. Both times, I told the salesperson what I was looking for and they took me right to the area of the store where I needed to be and were super helpful in suggesting different outfits and bringing me things to try on. When I went to buy the suit, I was literally in and out in like 20 minutes – thanks to their helpful staff! There is a sweet comfy-looking couch and with a big screen TV showing sports ball if you are shopping with your significant other/friends/whatever and a kids’ play area. They offer complimentary drinks(water and juice, I think). A lot of the stuff is pretty pricey, but this is not really the place for discounted maternity stuff. I think the quality is good, and also the helpfulness of the staff makes it worthwhile especially if you need something specific and do not want to spend all afternoon searching through racks at a discount place.

Yes. A guy reviewing a maternity store. I figure this could be biased, or it could be helpful. I tend towards the helpful side. First off, this is shopping for expectant mothers. Guys, this is going to tough if you don’t approach this with an open mind. You could zone out and sit in the guys area that has ESPN on the television, but I bet the mother wants a bit more support than that. Second, be prepared for some sticker shock. This is moderate to high end designer clothing. It doesn’t bother me, but if your idea of maternity fashion is Walmart or Target, you’re in for a surprise. I’m telling you though, the clothes are good looking. Especially if the expectant mother is a business professional. Lastly, the staff is super helpful. They know what they’re talking about and recommend looks depending on body type. Who knew, I thought there was only one body type when a woman is pregnant. Four stars for being an overall pleasant experience. Would have been a five, but I’m a guy.

There are worse places to be while your expectant wife shops for, ahem, giant bras. They have a TV tuned to ESPN and complementary water and juice. It is not cheap though. Also, they have ‘expectant mother’ parking spots out front; it’s Polaris though, so there’s nothing keeping inconsiderate jackasses from parking there.

My wife spent a lot of money here over two pregnancies. There are TV’s for us men to watch while our wives camp out in the bra section. There is a play area for your older child to wreck havoc while you wait. They give you free orange or apple juice to keep you from passing out from malnutrition(due to the extended stays without rations). At the end of the day, it makes the bride happy — and if it makes the bride happy, it makes me happy. Only downside is the cost of stuff here. But whatever.
