I was really impressed with the inside décor; very crisp and clean. The waitstaff is very friendly as well. I ordered from the hibachi and it was so tasty and fresh! All the vegetable were not overcooked and the sauce was great, not too salty like some I have had. The meal came with miso soup and salad with ginger dressing as well. All of it was good and will for sure come back to try other things!

I travel around the country as an Executive Chef Instructor and have eaten some of the best Japanese food in the country. Esushi totally exceeded my expectations for a small town in the middle of Indiana. The presentation was impeccable, the food was as good or better than I have found for 3 time’s the price in bigger cities and it is just an all around great place to eat. I have been there four different times since they opened with different meals every time and have not been disappointed once. Great place for a nice date even though it doesn’t look like it from the outside it is one of the nicest places in town. I will be back.

They are the one of recommended Japanese restaurant in this town. Since I’m from the out of state, I come here often when I have a business trip here. I should say there many others better Japanese restaurants in other state. They have a good customer service.

Rainbow Combo was excellent! My non-sushi eating wife enjoyed her dish too. Servers were attentive & courteous. Décor has not changed much from the prior establishment, but sushi bar adds new twist. Glad to have this option in town.

My wife and I went there last night and were very impressed. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. My wife is doing a low-carb diet currently and requested something specific off-menu and the chef did an excellent job with it. Prices were very reasonable; they seemed slightly lower than other sushi places in Columbus but food quality was on par with any any of them. The spicy tuna roll in particular was the best I’ve had anywhere, including in high-priced spots in large cities. The atmosphere was perhaps not as fancy as some other Cbus sushi spots, but very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

I sat at the sushi bar because no one was there to greet me. I didn’t know if I was supposed to wait or seat myself. The bar stools are not comfortable as they don’t have any banks. I cut my visit short because my back and legs started to ache. The customer service is great. My server was very welcoming and knew all the answers to my questions. When I sat down, I was given a warm washcloth to wipe my hands. Unfortunately, the washcloth had a moldy smell that lingered until they took it away. The sushi chef didn’t communicate unless I asked him a direct question. He wasn’t very outgoing which is fine I guess. I think my great experiences reading great sushi had always been when I’ve experienced a very open and communicative sushi chef. Sushi should not always be cookie cutter experience! Nevertheless, my California roll itself was a larger roll than usual. However, the roll came across as bland and I had to dose it with soy sauce. *gasp* The prices were higher than I expected. Enough said… The décor was nicer than your usual oriental buffet visage. I liked the holder for my chop sticks but I didn’t like that I had to tear the sticks apart and they are weirdly shaped. For the prices, I expect REAL chop sticks just like I expect real silverware.
