Not the biggest that for sure not the friendliest that for sure. Not the cleanest. Not fastest to check out. But it’s all that’s there.

Two questions; 1. Why move the beer from the shoppette to the main store, but still have it to where you have to go back to the shoppette for ice? 2. Where have the jet fuel k– cups gone?

This is certainly not the best BX I’ve visited, but it is appropriate for the size of the base here at CAFB. My main complaint has to do with a spotty selection of basic items. If you need something right away and live on base… say, typing paper or a birthday card or plastic utensils… you might want to just go straight to the Dollar General off base. Unfortunately, I have run into the problem of the BX sometimes having these types of problems, sometimes not. Rather than risk wasting the time stopping into the BX, I spend an extra 10 minutes driving to and from the DG and call it a day. However, the very VERY basic items, like… well, booze and«other» OTC medicines(ha) they are sure to have. Nice selection(though varying in availability) of garden supplies, basic exercising equipment, electronics, etc. Some of my favorite items are their selection of Michael Kors clothing and Bath and Body Works. These items are sold at a great markdown from other retail stores. I have gotten some great deals there when K-cups and makeup go on sale. You can buy stamps, magazines, and seasonal items. The workers are nice. Not a bad shop at all.
