Fog of Dusk

This is not a game shop. I was very disappointed to walk in hoping to purchase a new board game only to find a small selection of cards. The whole «store» is folding tables set up for people to come in and play games. There were two guys there playing a video game on the tv and the place smelled straight up like pot.

Not sure why this is marked as closed because they are definitely still open. Warm, friendly staff, great prices on cards, and they’re more than happy to take trades. The store and play space are very clean and bright. Brought my young daughter with me the last time I was in and they were very friendly.

This is a great gaming store! The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Everything is very reasonably priced, and they are happy to order an item for you if they don’t have it (or if it is a pre-​order). There is always something playing on the big screen (for when your team gets steam-​rolled and you have some time to kill before the next match). If you like gaming, you’ll love this store!

From their cover image on FaceBook, Fog of Dusk looks like it is primarily meant to be a Magic the Gathering store. But don’t let that fool you, they have a good selection of games (of all kinds) here too.
I like Fog of Dusk. It would be my favorite gaming store If their board game selection was as massive as The Soldiery. What they may lack in game selection, they make up for in customer service and friendliness. The owner has a Sixth Sense. He allows you to browse, and asks you when you need help at the right time. I have been to this store a handful of times and the owner is always friendly and honest.
They have a family gaming night on Sundays; opening up their store to play one of the many open box games on the shelves in the back. If you would like to play a game before you buy it, this is the time to try it out! Honestly though, the owner gives pretty good advice/​reviews on games. He has made some great suggestions for my family, based on the games I told him we like.

I think I stopped in here during their first couple weeks of being open. Fairly spartan on the inside, you could tell they were still getting acclimated. I wish the sign outside did more to draw you in and let you know that this is a hobby shop, since the name «Fog of Dusk» is kind of vague.
They had lots of miniatures and CCGs for sale, kind of light on the board game selection but I was told this will be getting better. The staff was friendly and the prices were pretty standard for a local place, at least in terms of the board games.
Overall, glad to see a hobby shop of this caliber on my side of town. It will be my first go to place to purchase board games from now on.
