I love this coffee shop! I live and work in Grandview so it’s always a quick walk for me to the Grind. The staff are always quick and efficient and they coffee drinks are excellent! There is usually a place to sit down and relax. The noise level is definitely lower than Staufs so you can study or read. The fresh assorted baked items are always excellent as well as ever changing. Yesterday I had a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin which was very moist and delicious! And love the pumpkin in January!

What a hidden gem! A quaint little coffee shop nestled in the corner of downtown Grandview. I tried the Cinna Honey Latte. It’s just sweetened with honey which I love! My friend and I sat on the sofa in the corner and just talked. I went back the very next week for the same drink. They also have little gluten-free muffins that are light and flavorful. Once I find a place like this, I’ll keep coming back.

Grandview Grind is my go-to coffee place when I am working from home. Every time I go, there is always an open table and outlets! There are enough outlets that pretty much any table you sit at, you can plug in. The music is soft enough that you can still have a conversation and not too loud that you can’t listen to your own music, if you so choose. I generally just get black coffee but the last time I went I got the Cinna Honey Latte. It is my new favorite latte! It is not too sweet and has the perfect proportions of cinnamon and honey. I also love the cheddar jalapeño bagel with cream cheese. It has just the right amount of kick to it with the spice. There are also a variety of other bagel options, muffins and pastries. There are some tables outside that are perfect for sitting at during the warmer months! The pricing of their drinks is pretty comparable to other competitors. Parking in the evening is difficult in the lot as that is peak time for some of the other local businesses. In the morning however, parking is super easy to find!

I had always gone to Stauf’s down the street and then did a search for coffee and found this place. Soooooo glad I did! This was possibly the best latte I have ever had. I ordered a soy vanilla latte and everything about it was perfect. I couldn’t get over how great this latte tasted. When in Grandview or even when not in Grandview go to Grandview Grind!

Stopped in for my first visit earlier this evening as I waited on a friend. What a pleasant surprise. The barista was warm, welcoming & knowledgeable without pretense. The Cortado was rich, smooth & addictive.

Friendly baristas, good selection of coffee, good location(kinda tucked in to a plaza in Grandview with usually pretty ample parking in the lot the shop’s in, in addition the street parking around there). Not too crowded, not too empty. That said, GG isn’t the first coffee shop on my list of places to go to to study/get work done. 1) It was seemingly too cold last time I went. I was wearing a jacket with my hood up and still cold… as were several people in there it seemed. 2) wifi was SUPER unstable. One minute it was connected, the next disconnected. I actually had more luck on the Grandview Library wifi… I don’t even know where the library is located. Despite it being a weak-ish signal, it was more steady than GG’s wifi. Towards the end, after 20 minutes of just not being able to connect back, my friend and I both left as we needed Internet at that time. Wifi has become such a staple at coffee shops now, that without it, it’s harder to give a place a good review. Fox in the snow is special as it just doesn’t have it period, but you come in(well, I read about the place before I went) expecting that. With GG, kinda unacceptable to have it drop out so often and for so long.

Great little coffee shop that was voted best coffee shop in Cbus in 614 Magazine. The baristas are friendly, there’s free wifi, loose leaf tea, variety of seating(including outdoor), and solid coffee. The local art on the walls is always a plus, and check out the handmade cards by the door.

Nice latte and coffee find today, in my multi day exploring! Great coffee and lovely lady attending who offered guidance to other good barista shops. Nice location here.

A nice and quiet study spot. The coffee is good, the vibe is relaxed, and the music selection is on point.

I fluctuate between here and Staufs, but I don’t know why… Grandview Grind is better in most ways except that they don’t have as big a selection of beans or the same indie feel. It’s a far more vanilla setup than Staufs, feeling very much like the independent strip-mall coffee shop that it is. But it does that well. The baristas seem great, there’s always open seating with outlets, and the coffee is consistently good. Essentially, I’d say your better off at GG than Staufs unless you’re trying buy beans or if your real goal is to be seen at a trendy coffee shop. If your goal is one of those two, you’re better off at Staufs. Also, get the apple coffee cake if they have it on display. So good.

Grandview Grind is the quintessential coffee house. Tucked away along the back of a Grandview Avenue strip mall, the vibe is super-laid back and relaxing. That is, relaxing until you see all the coffee, tea, and beverage combinations available. Eek! RELAX. Ask them some questions, they’ll lead you in the right direction. Their iced coffee is cold-brewed, their chai steeped, and their coffee fresh. Specialty drinks are no problem, and if you want something that is not on the menu, they’ll make it for you. Want a snack? Patisserie Laillier cookies and bars are available, as well as locally-made granola. The layout is open, with lots of tables indoors and out, high ceilings and big windows, so there is plenty of natural light during the day. A boxed-in corner with comfy chairs and couches feels like sitting in your living room. A rack of square shelving offers plenty of reading material and local papers, and you can peruse the GG logoed items for sale along the wall. GG is a great place to kick back and get re-energized.

It has been nearly a year since I first tried Grandview Grind and now I am ready to make my decision. In my original review I felt like its café mocha – my favorite drink– was maybe better than Starbucks – the place I used to favor, sadly, as the best. Since then I have The Grind’s interpretation of the chocolate latte several times and I have to say that it is better than the hated mammoth chain! It is close to Starbucks’ in it smooth and even, from top to bottom, texture, but yet still brings the husky bite of the closed Caribou Coffee. Every sip leave a lovely mocha-chocolate aftertaste. Now I haven’t had every Mocha in Columbus, so GC’s top ranking may soon be supplanted, but it has done enough to warrant a fifth star. Another impressive thing is consistency. Usually independent cafés are not consistent with there products; you may get a bit different drink every time you order a particular coffee. Chain are usually more reliable at that. But I have had 10 mochas here and only one was not to standard. In my experience, 90% is excellent for a chain. This place attracts me in every time I am in the area.

I picked up a coffee to go the other day at Grandview Grind. I can’t really say too much about it, but my coffee was good and staff was pleasant. It’s tucked away in the corner of Grandview Center, so it receives relatively little foot traffic. Grandview Grind seems like the perfect quiet place to get work done while enjoying a coffee. For this reason, I think I prefer it over Stauf’s which may be a little too noisy and busy for my liking. There are plenty of outlets for your laptop and of course free Wi-Fi.

It’s not great, but it’s not too bad either. I’ve been here once while waiting for my car to be fixed. The interior is not the most modern, but it’s clean and tidy. The chai latte I had was pretty good. The barista was SUPERFRIENDLY. I had many questions concerning the coffee beans they sell, and whilst helping out other customers, she was very helpful and friendly. I would go back when I’m in the area, but not out of my way to get here.

Great place to relax and/or get some work done. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to make a frozen hot chocolate, which isn’t on the menu! So, lesson learned… If it’s not on the menu then just ask, maybe they can still make it. Best one I’ve had so far.

Grandview Grind is a cute little shop in the heart of Grandview that’s perfect for a quiet work space or a place to meet a few friends. Since Stauf’s has practically become impossible to find a seat(but seriously, yay for them), I’ve been going to GG for a few months now. The coffee and tea are good, the people are friendly, and the wifi is strong. But let me give you a little pro tip here – get Lisa’s granola. But don’t blame me when you eat the entire bag in one sitting. It’s *that* good. Another little tidbit – don’t sit near the door when it’s cold outside. You’ll thank me later.

I love the easy neighborhood feel of this spot. Staff is friendly and so is the customer base. I usually just get drip coffee or tea and find it just fine. Better than any national chain coffee stop in the surrounding area. Prices are normal to high-ish, but worth it to support small and local. They have a nice selection of local baked goods and snacks and is a good place to relax or get work done and hold a small meeting. I’d skip the mess that is Stuaf’s any day and go to the Grind for a quite spot where your table won’t wobble and you can hear yourself talk.

Yes! Yes! and Yes again. Grandview Grind is a simple pimple coffee shop, no frills, and just perfect in every way. I came in for a cup o’ joe with my beguiling boyfriend and settled for the dark Mexican house blend with soy milk. Anyone who stands confidently behind their his or her beloved Starbucks may soon commit treason in favor of Grandview Grind. The coffee was absolutely delicious, with a taint of natural sweetness, complimented by a robust, dark body. I didn’t realize this until we had paid our bill, but GG has almond milk in addition to soy milk. So forward thinking! So progressive! I love almond milk and have all but given up that no coffee shop carries it. The baked goods looked(and smelled) sinful, but we were unfortunately en route to brunch and had to pass. From the façade, GG appears like your average small, cozy coffee shop. But upon entry, it is quite more spacious than one would imagine. It is impeccably decorated to emphasize calmness and simplicity, and offers an abundance of seating. Perfect for studying, reading, or catching up with the locals. There are always a couple of local yocals chilling in GG, which I love. GG is a staple of Grandview, and keeps its neighbors properly caffeinated.
