Long time favorite, I started going to the owners location on High St across from Graceland in 1999. Best Gyro in town. They opened the Greek Express on Sancus and have been going ever since. Extremely nice staff and the owner always says hi and recognizes you. Food is always consistent, and super fresh and tasty. What should be hot is always hot, and the salads are super fresh and cold. Restaurant and restroom is immaculate. Couldn’t recommend more, my #1 go to place.

Not so authentic greek restaurant. Ordered chicken gyro-none to the taste of gyro. Too improvised for a greek fast food restaurant

I’m sitting here eating AGAIN and wondering why I never reviewed this location. Consistently good food. Consistently friendly staff. Clean. Fries are amazing. Don’t forget spinach pie. YUM! They have Chicago style hot dogs(Vienna) if you aren’t feeling the Greek. Falafel, kabobs, salads, lentil soup. Portions are generous so you are unlikely to go away hungry. Thanks Greek Express for the great food and outstanding service :)

Good Gryos and salads. Nothing fancy but consistent and clean. I like that they have a drive thru. Vegetarian daughter likes their falafel

I love this place. The gyros are tasty, filling, and reasonably priced. The owner is very friendly and often makes sure we are happy. Today a colleague and I walked there for lunch, and it started pouring rain. An employee came out and gave us a ride back to work. Thank you so much, Greek Express!

I feel like I could make a much better gyro from scratch at home. Theirs is very bready, and loaded with tons of veggies and very little meat in comparison. It is all fresh-tasting, but reminds me more of a salad.

Love Greek express. First it has a drive through which makes it easy to get in and out. Secondly I love their hummus though I’m not that In love with their pita bread I find it doughy. Also not impressed by the chicken gyros I find them to be dry. But the Lamb is delicious just the right amount of sauce and onions and the meet is also tender. I also got the spinach pie and that was okay.

I stopped by randomly one night and used the drive-thru. I enjoyed how quickly I had my food. It terms of portions/price, I thought I got a pretty good deal. I ordered the jumbo gyro. The food was pretty average. The meat was dry and over-salted. However, the veggies and toppings were great. Their fries are fantastic too.

If you are looking for fast, tasty, greek then this is the place! The gyro’s are awesome and they also have good salads. I’ve always received very friendly and quick service at the drive through window. The fries are some of the best you can get at a fast food place in my opinion… right up there with rally’s…yeah I said it. I always leave wishing I got more fries lol. Great option when you are sick of burgers.

Nice to have a Greek place with drive thru! Fries were awesome but falafel was the most tasteless I have ever had in my life! I love falafel and I was so looking forward to having one but this was not it. Hot and served on a warm and soft pita but absolutely no taste even with sauce which I also did not like and way too much lettuce. Overall I would go here again even if just for fries but never for falafel unless they add some spice and taste to it.

Since I now work in the Polaris area, I am in search of a good, cheap, fast Greek place for lunch. I gave this place a shot and it’s in the running. I was first disappointed that a falafel gyro is not on the value menu, but there is a falafel pita listed under sandwiches. I went through the drive-thru and ordered that pita, along with fries and an extra cucumber sauce on the side(for my fries). Back at work, Itasted the fries with sauce. Disappointment. The fries are good, but I am used to the fantastic sauce at The Gyro Shoppe. It is like crack to me. Then I tasted the falafel pita. Oh, yeah, it’s good. Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and sauce. I may come back here. I’ll have to bring my own Gyro Shoppe sauce.

This place is good quality, quick, and cheap. You really can’t go wrong with the gyro(if you like feta, ask them for feta on it) and the falafel pita is really good too. The pita is always nice and soft and warm. The veggies on the sandwich are fresh and the sauce is awesome. And the fries here are AMAZING. I would go here just for the french fries. You can get a sandwich, fries, and a drink here for $ 7. And you don’t even have to get out of your car if you don’t want. I come here when I want some a little better than fast-food chains, but I don’t want to get out of my car for the other Greek spots around my house. =)

I love the concept of Greek Express. It is quick Greek food with a drive thru which gives it a «fast food» feel. I have had some good experiences here and some bad experiences. The chicken gyro(my favorite) is pretty standard. Their gyro sauce is really tasty, but they do not put enough inside the gyro. The most recent time I visited, the chicken was pretty dry. I like that I can get a gyro combo with fries and a drink for under $ 10! The only advice I have is to stay away from the hummus. I took two bites of pita with hummus and threw the whole container away. Overall, this is a decent spot to stop for a quick lunch in the Polaris area.

This is my second trip here and it was definitely not as good as my first trip. I ordered a Gyro combo and by the time I had gotten my drink, scored a table and then still had to wait at the counter for my order. Finally my order comes up, seems I had been waiting on fresh fries, no problem but, the counter person could have given me a heads up on the wait time instead of leaving me standing warming my thumb. I take my order back to the only table I could find in the dining area that wasn’t dirty. Debris on tables and floors and the people working there had plenty of time during my visit to clean from the lack of customers inside and thru the drive-thru. This always makes me wonder, if the front of the house is that dirty, how clean is the back of the house? OK, back to my meal, the fries were hot and fresh, I will give them that. The gyro, the meat was grey, warmish at best and not grilled at all. While the veggies were fresh, the pita was warmed and not grilled either. Overall very mediocre at best which is kinda sad after my initial visit. Good prices or not, I doubt if i’ll be back here, there’s a crazzy place down around the corner that i’ll go for my neighborhood gyro fix.

I can’t judge the food here, since I just stopped by for dessert but that was pretty darn good and a great price for Baklava. None if it was less than $ 1.99 a piece and for baklava that is descent. It tasted pretty darn good too. I had one of each kind, the chocolate, pecan, cinnamon and walnut, all fresh and oozing honey when you bite into it, just like it should. Also their chocolate cake is great, rich and chocolatey, YUM! The food was a turn off from what I saw. I know what gyros is supposed to look like and whenever I see gray, pressed meat its not hard to say no thanks. also fries were soggy and pale looking. The grossest was the cartons of syrups for the sodas on full display with the hoses, again glad I never drink soda, they could have hidden that in the back somewhere. The location is nice, a clean fast ffod greek on the outside, inside kind of muggy and grimey. The girls working are nice and I liked the dessert, just wouldn’t come to eat here with so many ther choices at Polaris.
