Horrible place to purchase a handgun online to be shipped elsewhere. I saw their bad reviews online, but I assumed they were written by a competitor or someone who couldn’t be pleased. I’m here to admit my mistake and confirm that the bad reviews are real. I looked at their website carefully before I ordered a firearm. It showed the firearm INSTOCK and promised shipping within 24 hours, with tracking number notification by email upon shipping. Sounds good. So I placed my order on a Friday. The following week, I emailed Gun Envy to make sure they had received my FFL transfer info, which was coming from my local dealer. Zero response to that email. Sounds of silence, as if it were never sent. So I waited another 5 days or so and called. I talked to a man who refused to look up my order number. It was apparent that he wanted to get me off the phone as soon as humanly possible. I asked him how long it took for firearm orders to ship, and he said«a couple days». By then it had already been far longer than a couple days, but no big deal. Stuff happens. I asked him if I would receive a tracking number or notification when my order went out, as promised on his own website. He said«No, we don’t do that». Hmm… why would the website say they provide a shipping notification when they don’t? After another week I called back, got the same guy on the phone. He again refused to look up my order. I asked if they had the gun in stock and he said no, that pistol had been out of stock for several weeks, and they had no idea when it would be back in stock. Just continue to wait. Without knowing my name or anything about my order, he had admitted to me that they were selling guns online they didn’t have, and didn’t even know if they could get. Not encouraging. I waited another week and checked again. This time I got on their website and looked up my order. It was still listed as «processing». It hadn’t shipped. So I called again. This time they wouldn’t answer their phone all morning. Finally in the afternoon I got through and talked to a different man who refused to look up my order but claimed that my order has shipped. I asked him how he could possibly know that when he didn’t ask my name, location, or order number, and he had no response, except to say that«the guy who handles that isn’t here». He was obviously just telling me what I wanted to hear to get me off the phone. I told him I’d like to cancel my order since it was promised to ship in one day, had not shipped in weeks, and they could give me no indication when it might ship. At that point he began yelling and cussing and hung up the phone. I did a Google search and other customers who order by mail have the same complaints. Items are ordered and never shipped. This is literally the most incompetent business I’ve done business with in the last 20 years, with the worst service, and the worst attitude. I’m currently out hundreds of dollars that I’ll never get back unless I go to my credit card company and file a dispute. I wouldn’t buy a pack of gum from these idiots.

You would not believe the treatment I received on 5÷21÷2015, after confronting this business with a documented overage on my visa credit card. The customer service person actually yelled in my face with repeated«F» words… Do yourself a favor and stay away from this business. One should do business with a reputable company, not a company with a Biker mentality.

Real good customer service at Gun Envy, and friendly guys. Went in there with my young son, and they were very helpful talking about what kind of guns they started their kids on, etc. Not a ton of selection, but they did have the gun I was looking for at a good price. It’s a lot of used stuff. Very small store, but I left smiling cause I had a nice interaction.

I had a great experience with gun envy and cannot believe the tone of some of the posts from over a year ago. Perhaps management has changed, troublesome staff have been replaced or previous reviewers had other motives. I called prior to going to the store(twice actually) and had responsive/courteous discussions both times. I then went to the store to get custom engraving on an AR lower. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I could have put in my order, talked with the gun smith, who was fantastic, and been on my way in ten minutes but I browsed the store a bit afterwards. The showroom area is not huge but they have a descent selection and can order anything. They have the cheapest transfer fees in franklin county and do class III transfers as well! All manner of custom gun smithing including cerakote, NFA engraving and manufactured rifles. I highly recommend you check out gun envy!

Awesome service! I was going to do my own AR build and I called GunEnvy who did it for less and designed it exactly how I wanted it. If you are looking for a great price and a manufacturer this is the place to go!

Purchased some parts in March 2013 kept getting the«run-a-around» on when they would ship! I called, emailed and answered but no response. I have asked for a refund numerous times It’s now OCT and I have now filed a complaint with the BBB and saw others are having issues similar issues! Watch out and avoid getting RIPPEDOFF like me!

Also part of the debacle Jeff posted about. We’ve tried getting a refund from Gunenvy but they refuse and actively keep denying that any refund has been given although we have proof otherwise. Spend your money elsewhere or you might end up losing it.
