I had an absolutely amazing experience my first time in to Holy Moses. Andrew really took the time to listen to what I was looking for and then tame and style the unruly curly mess that is my hair. He is very talented and obviously enjoys what he does. The style consultation and straight razor neck shave were great additions. I’m actually looking forward to my complimentary «clean up» appointment in two weeks. Best of all, the wife was very impressed when I got home. It does cost a bit more than I generally spend, but after the experience I had this first time I’m confident it is money well spent.

Justin gave me the best haircut that I can remember, and I’m not exaggerating. He also used a product that has changed the way I think about my hair. In the past I always felt my hair was too fine to manage, but he used the Triumph & Disaster — Coltrane Clay and it has made all the difference.

A great little spot that was hopping when I went in. Met with refreshment and a nice cozy seat, I enjoyed myself for the short wait time on a near walk-​in (45 minute notice appointment).
They have a good range of grooming products, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I got a beard trim to cut down on the face salad, and Mike had me done with clean lines and a sharp look in 15 minutes flat.
When I walked out the door I was gifted with a few samples for the old dry soup brush that is my mustache, as well as some pro tips for keeping everything tidy until the next go round. Overall a great experience, and definitely a place I would go to again.

I’ve been having my hair cut for almost my entire life (except for a period of time in college back in the roaring 80’s). This is definitely one of the best hair experiences that I have enjoyed. The space is very stylish, but not over the top. If you need to wait, or just want to hang out after, there is a space with a TV and comfortable chairs, that is separated from the main area. There is also an overhead door, that I think they open up to the elements in good weather.
The atmosphere was very mellow, and there was a really cool mix of clientele: high school and college guys, young career and artist types getting a super cool cut, AND a good number of «older» business guys like me: the khaki and button-​down set.
I was redeeming a gift certificate, that included a shave and full haircut with Andrew. I was trying to remember, but I am pretty sure that I have never had a professional shave before. Guys, treat yourself to this once in a while. It wasn’t your normal 60 second shave that you do every morning in the mirror. The shave lasted about 45 minutes. I can’t begin to recall all the steps involved, but it included hot towel, soothing lotion, more hot towels and lotions and so forth. It made me rethink my morning «toilette». I was so relaxed it didn’t even bother me that there was a straight razor ever-​so-​close to important blood vessels. I now realize why the ladies love to get «pampered». Just do it – you will be glad you did.
Andrew took extra time to ask about how I normally get my hair done before he started, and made recommendations. He started with a wash, then the cut, then neck shave with a straight razor. He even trimmed the eyebrows. We chatted a bit about products, and made recommendations before he finished up with the styling. He gave me some extra hints about product application before I left.
Andrew was great — he is full of interesting stories, with none of that awkward silence that can sometimes be experienced with a first visit.
Guys: just do it, you’ll be glad you did.

Abby was the barber I got, and without a doubt one of if not the best haircut I’ve ever had. She’s incredibly personable and takes the time to understand what you want. She also explained what she was doing and why it matters. I travel to Columbus a lot for business and I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely the best place to get a great men’s cut! Sleek atmosphere, good music, and awesome people. I have been getting my hair cut by the owner for about ten years (not all at Holy Moses, obviously). He is the best and ensures the other stylists provide only the best service around. Online booking is fast and easy for all types of services. If your appointment is on a nice day, show up a few minutes early and you may get to enjoy the open air waiting area (they close the big garage door it it’s too hot or cold). If it’s not so nice out, stop by their neighbor, Zauber, for a fresh pint. You’ll never visit a «…Clips» place again!

Not even sure where to start. The space is amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this comfortable in a salon. It’s so open and relaxed.
But to be honest, it could be a hole in the ground and it would still be worth every penny just because of Justin. This guy is amazing. Never before have I been so confident saying «Whatever you think will look best», and ALWAYS walking away thrilled.
The rest of the staff is incredibly friendly. It’s just the perfect atmosphere, and a great product. If you care at all about your appearance, you owe it to yourself, your personal life and your career to go to Holy Moses and have your image crafted by these professionals.

Guy know that when you find something that works… DON’T FIX IT!
Justin and his crew is one of those things that you can count on every time. I’ve been getting my hair cut buy Justin for over 3 years and every time it’s perfect.
I’ve been to other places where the style falls out in a week or two. Justin’s cuts hold their shape so well that I quit using products.

This place is simply the best place in cbus for getting the best haircut. No one is more passionate when it comes to barbering than Justin Perkins. Come here get a sweet haircut and feel like family! Not to mention their awesome pour over coffee.

I have lived in a number of major cities including Chicago and NYC. During that time I have been to quite a few different barbers/​stylists. Justin is at the top of the list when it comes to quality. He is extremely knowledgable, a great listener, meticulous, and most importantly has an incredible passion for what he does. I recommend him and Holy Moses to everyone!

Do yourself a favor and just go here for all your hair cut/​styling needs. This place is where it’s at. It’s a Gorgeous space with quality cuts and styles. The place oozes cool and the stylists are all phenomenal, down to earth people that definitely aren’t just trying too hard (like most other barber shops). They really are that cool.
Justin listened to the ideas I had in mind for my hair and he had no problem at all making it happen.
Andrew did a fantastic job styling, as well. Both guys are excellent dudes, and I can’t recommend them enough.

Went there this morning for a haircut. They were very professional, got one of the best hair cuts I have had in a long time. Ask for the owner «Perkins» or Lisa both are very good, Lisa has cut my hair in the past. Will be recommending to my friends. Great atmosphere and great people!

They nailed it. Super clean, not pretentious, great space, cool vibe, nothing cheeseball, fair prices, perfect location.
It seems hard to get a great haircut. The chains do a quick hack job, some barber shops aren’t detailed, and I don’t want to go to high end women’s salon or country club stylist. Holy moses just does awesome hair in a dudes environment.

Holy Moses! Since I was a kid I was always picky about my haircuts. No one could ever get it right. That’s all changed now thanks to this barber shop. Justin is the most skilled and effortless barber/​stylist I’ve ever had. He asks questions about what styles I like and gives me a cut that works perfectly for my day to day life. He invests in his clients and cares about their personal lives. The atmosphere in the shop is simple, nostalgic, and modern. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making sure I always have a great experience. If you want the best haircut for your lifestyle, this is your barber shop!

My husband gets his haircut at Holy Moses by Justin and he does a really great job. Justin’s work is quality. He knows how to match my husband’s style and help him find the right products so he can replicate the style easily on his own at home.
Holy Moses is right next to Zauber Brewing, and the atmosphere is very sleek. Aside from hair and shaving services, there are a lot of unique products for sale (local coffee /​wallets /​bags /​beard wax etc.). They typically play music similar to XMU on Sirius, so if you have good taste in music, you’ll feel right at home!

Cool space, really cool people, and fair prices.

Holy Moses takes the barber shop to an entirely new level. The staff is incredible and their recommendations on products was right on.
Justin’s approach to a hair cut can’t be outdone. It started with a great conversation about what I wanted and his opinion on what would work well. He’s always focused on providing the best service and not about getting to the next person.
The online reservation system was simple, but extremely effective. Also, the e-​receipt was much welcomed.
