This place is great! Just stumbled in here one day with my mom and they were super nice about us not having an appointment. Walk ins very welcome. It’s a smaller salon so make an appointment if you can but they seem very flexible. Great haircut and manicure. The two girls working were so nice and the prices are reasonable.
Definitely the best place to go on campus.

I went to J Salon for a simple wash, cut, and style. The salon is small– just two chairs– but clean and bright without any overpowering chemical smells. I made an appointment online beforehand which was easy and efficient. The stylist who did my cut was ready when I arrived and very friendly. I’m not a big talker so we made some pleasant conversation but she was content to focus on her work; I love when stylists can read their clients! I didn’t know exactly what I wanted so I gave a general idea to which she listened carefully and then gave a couple of suggestions. She worked quickly and I was very happy with my cut when it was all done.
