I know I ruined their day.
I dropped off the. Worst. Rug. Ever. for cleaning. This rug was my crowning couponing glory. I purchased it at a deep discount a few years ago. I thought it was the penultimate in décor. Then we had ants…
Then the rug got wet. outside…with no way of getting dry.

These fine people disregarded the moldy stink, the ant pieces, and the weight of a half– soaked rug and cleaned it.
They warned me… oh, they warned me about the crappiness of my «bargain rug.» They warned me of the extent of the mold and the degradation of the glue after such a rigorous cleaning. I chose to proceed and was pleasantly surprised when I unrolled it in my living room. It looks (and more importantly smells) great!
Kudos to the staff and thanks for the explanation and caveats.

Took a rug here to be cleaned. Everyone who I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. I even forgot my grocery list and coupons and they called to let me know!

I need to add an update — the manager in question called to apologize, refunded our entire bill, agreed that said employees were out of line and ensured they were looking into the future of the position.
We also received a follow-up thank you card with a hand-written apology and this helped immensely.
