Don’t do breakfast here! They are slow, unorganized and will not call your name as their policy is after an order is up. When I finally walked up to the counter 20 minutes after order they handed me a cold sandwich in a bag. They then lied about how long it was sitting there. Will not be back.

Had one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life at this place. I ordered corned beef hash with sunny side up eggs, toast, and a side of bacon. After waiting for over twenty minutes with only a couple other people in the restaurant, I finally went up and asked about my food. Nobody seemed to know what was going on in the kitchen. Finally I was handed a plate with the hash and eggs that were barely cooked. Yellow, runny and totally inedible. No toast, no bacon. I told them the eggs were raw and I just wanted my money back. No apologies from the staff or any real interaction whatsoever. Total waste of time. This place is a joke. I’ll never go back.

For a first time, grab a menus & step back a second. There are so many items that sound so good! The burgers are a portioned size, but it’s a generous portion. Sides for miles, fries, sweet potato fries, potato salad, mac salad, egg salad, then the list of Salads… Great food, excellent speed & for the amount of turn over, very clean. Price is barely above fast food, but quality is leaps and bounds above. Portions match quality, you won’t go away hungry unless you are trying to.

I came to Lexi’s for a lunch meeting yesterday. Honestly, I’ve never explored the downtown dining scene too much since most of the restaurants are closed before five pm and on the weekends. I was happy to take a swing down there and check things out. When I came into Lexi’s it was square in the middle of the busy lunch rush, but no one seemed too harried about it, especially the staff. They were very friendly and relaxed as I took maybe a beat too long to order. It’s a fast casual place where you order at the counter and the food can be picked up or brought to your table. The cashier explained things to me and took my order patiently. I decided on the turkey burger with sweet potato fries. It came out very quickly, in less than 10 minutes. It was a standard burger with no bells and whistles, which isn’t a bad thing! The toppings were fresh and delicious and the bun was soft. The fries were decent, maybe not the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. They came with a sweet cinnamon dipping sauce that didn’t care for. It tasted like fruit dip to me. The space is also a nice little find, right on the corner of Broad and 3rd across the street from the Statehouse and Dispatch. Great patio space as well, but it was too chilly to eat outside. Overall, I was really impressed by the speed and quality of service here. The lunch rush can be a crazy time but all customers were served quickly and well. Definitely a good option for a weekday lunch if you’re in the area!

Had a fantastic lunch here this week. I got a Cobb salad and added grilled chicken. It was fresh, tasty, and huge. Lots of great breakfast and lunch options. Great deal on breakfast if you get a burrito and split it with a friend.

The happy discovery on the visit downtown, Lexie’s on Third was recommended by our hotel concierge. Recommend the hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and home fries. Open Monday through Friday only.

They should be charging more for the amount of amazing food they serve. The corn beef omelet is giant and to die for. the greek salad is pretty amazing and big as well. Thank you Lexi’s.

Good lunch spot. I had the French dip and fries special and really enjoyed it. Lots of good sandwich options, plus breakfast and a few entrees. Fast, friendly service. Good place to have lunch.

Best turkey rueben in Cbus. For real. I really want to try everything else on the menu because it all looks so delish, but that damn rueben calls my name every time… I love that every deli sandwich can come with chips, potato salad, macaroni salad, side salad, fruit or a cookie. Plenty of options to complement one’s lunch of choice. I’ve not eaten here yet, as I’m usually grabbing something to go so I can eat in solace at my desk while cranking on work, but the outdoor seating area seems lovely… though I wonder how crowded it can get, because this place gets SLAMMED around 12:15. Bonus: for group orders, they offer online ordering and delivery. Score!

Came here for lunch. They have a lot of seating — tables — upper and lower, and outside. Here, you place your order upon entering — they have a decent menu. And then they’ll bring your food to you wherever you choose to sit. I got a pick — 3, which is WAY better than a, for example, pick — 2. I got a ½ roast beef, a cup of soup, and a cobb salad. It was about $ 10. The soup was quite good, the sandwich also good, and the only complaint about the salad was that the bowl was too small for the serving. I dumped the salad onto the plate the sandwich came on, and was able to successfully eat it. Good solid place for lunch.

Deli selections on the menu. Fast food style ordering. Huge portions. I just went here for the first time. The location is convenient for a lot of downtown businesses, and the ordering style is speedy and reminiscent of a fast food joint – order first from a menu behind the counter, and the food is brought to your table. The selection of food was pretty expected: deli sandwiches, soups, salads. It’s all pretty customizable – one of those places where you can specify nearly every portion of the meal to suit your tastes. Portions are enormous for the price you pay, and you can leave on a full stomach for about $ 8. Service was very good but a mostly negligible part of the whole experience. Personally, my sandwich was just okay, and my salad was average. My boyfriend loved his chicken Cobb salad and his fruit plate.

I decided to try a local place for breakfast rather than having the breakfast at the Renaissance Columbus downtown so was happy to find Lexi’s on Third next door. At around 8 a.m. there were two other patrons that were eating in. Upon entering there were no signs or anything so I walked up to the counter to be ignored by the snooty little thing behind the counter. Anyway their breakfast menu has all names like Lexi’s special and Trifecta without any explanations of the dishes so I had to ask the person behind the counter for explanation even though he was not interested in talking to me. Anyway I went with the trifecta($ 6) which is basically either pancakes or French toast, two eggs and choice of meat. I went with pancakes, scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. I also got a large coffee($ 1.75) to wash everything down. After ordering you can grab a seat and the person taking your order will bring your food out when it is ready. In the meantime you can help yourself to coffee from a serving station on the side. It took more than 10 minutes for the food to be prepared. Time that was spent sipping on one of the worst coffee’s that I’ve had in a long time. You would be better off getting coffee from a 7 – 11 rather than drinking this piss. Thankfully I had already had my first coffee of the day from Starbucks across the road so I slowly sipped on this to kill time while waiting for the food. After an excruciatingly long wait the food arrived. In one word it was pathetic. I will remember this as one of the worst breakfasts that I’ve eaten anywhere in the country. Even small local places make decent French toast and scrambled eggs which won’t win any competitions but will leave you satisfied so I’m surprised how these guys could mess up a simple breakfast. The French toast was dry bread that was completely burnt on the side that had been dipped in the beaten eggs. It was gross. The scrambled eggs were tasteless. There was no seasoning, no heavy cream nothing and worst of all they were undercooked. Lastly the turkey sausage seemed to be straight out of a pre-packaged frozen sausage slab that was hurriedly thawed and then grilled till it was hard and dry as a rock. I think the Chef that prepared my breakfast needs to go back to culinary school and get his basics right. I am really surprised at the sky high ratings for Lexi’s on Third because the food and service certainly does not live up to it. Sadly another place where ratings do not reflect reality. I’m sure the benchmark set by the pathetic breakfast at Lexis on Third will be hard for another place to beat and in my eyes will be worst breakfast I’ve had for a long time to come.

Came here for lunch, ended up with a $ 8 grilled cheese w/bacon and soft drink. Now for that much I’d expect the best damn such sandwich in the world. It didn’t happen. It was just okay. I can’t say I’ll never go back, but there are better places to eat downtown(in my opinion).

It’s gonna suck when too many people figure out that this place is really good and I have to struggle to get a lunch order in. The food is really fresh and well prepared. The service is friendly and patient but the nature of business district lunch rush makes you feel just that, rushed, when you’re in line at least. They have a large patio and a spacious inside seating area so I have never had a problem finding a seat. I find that they are very well priced. The cheeseburger is only 5 dollars. Fries are well priced and they make GREAT fries. I mean really well cooked compared to most and they give you plenty of them. I recommend the Cajun fries. My favorite meal is the pick 2. I get the berry salad with chix(extra) and the pastrami. I’m admittedly new to pastrami but they seem to make some pretty tasty stuff.

This was my first eating experience in all of Ohio. And i’d say it was a pretty damn good one. Before going to Ohio, one of the things I kept hearing«is that people are really nice over there», lo and behold, they were not lying! I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, for a pretty fair price, with great customer service(especially when i awkwardly come in hella soon to closing). It was fresh tasting burger, with good fries. I was very happy with my purchase and overall experience. I’m hoping I’ll be able to go back at least once again to try other things on their menu, it all looks good!

This was a nice little gem to stumble into! I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time now, and fortunately had some time to kill one day. I’ve heard GREAT things about LUNCH, but it was breakfast time and I was craving some BREAKFAST foods. I ended up getting«LEXI’S SPECIAL»: Two eggs, bacon, sausage, gyro or ham, home fries, toast… did you see that… let’s check again… GYRO(meat)! I was stoked! Plus, this breakfast was less than $ 5, and was quick to come out. Everything was very TASTY and everyone was quite accommodating. I will be back for sure! Also, the website is very user-friendly and has prices on it.

This place is right next to the downtown Chase building. The service is fast, it’s relatively cheap, and its everything you’d want from a deli. Just remember, if you’ve never been here, ask for a detailed menu. The menu board behind the register don’t list the ingredients. So don’t be like me, who panic-ordered because I didn’t know what sandwich had what ingredients(ended up ordering the Hungry Bavarian — warm layers of thin ham, provolone cheese, on a toasted pretzel bun.)

Just stopped by Lexi’s for a quick Monday lunch and was satisfied, though not overjoyed, but my experience. The restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable, with a large but not-objectionable tv in the back and comfortable tables and chairs. The staff was helpful(if a touch annoying, from a personality standpoint). The atmosphere was like a nice food court, for whatever that’s worth. My pastrami reuben was tasty. I thought the meet was very good, warm with a crunch exterior, and seasoned nicely. I had the«slim» version of the sandwich, and it was enormous. I question what human needs the«regular» version. The bread was buttered and griddled, but it got a bit soggy on the bottom. My pickle was large. My only real complaint is the price — for $ 11.50, I’d expect more than a good sandwich, bag of chips, and drink. I don’t think Lexi’s is 50% better than man of the surrounding restaurants(Milo’s in the Statehouse, for example), yet their prices make that claim. I’d come back to Lexi’s because I like variety in my lunchtime spots, but I’ll continue to frown at the price every time, I imagine. Bottom line: a tasty but overpriced lunch spot.
