I have to say this place is pretty awesome! As soon as you walk in you start craving whatever it is they are making in the kitchen. It smells so damn good! It’s truly authentic when it takes them 5 minutes just to find a menue written in english. First off we had some oysters with hot sauce for an app. My buddy got the Diabolo Shrimp and i had the chilaquiles with eggs. They both come with rice and beans, extra bonus. Mine was great. I only had one bite of the diabolo shrimp and the sauce was amazing! I’m still thinking about it days later. I’ll be getting that one next time. Big portions too, we were both totally stuffed! All the food was really fresh. They had the best looking limes I have ever seen and I’ve seen a lot from the ol bartending days. I’m sure it helps having La Michocana Mexican Market right next door. They offer all kinds of seafood here too. The other table ordered a whole grilled fish. Not sure what kind it was, but the damn thing had to be about 16 inches long! We met the owner while having some drinks after the last Crew game. Super nice guy! Said, come check out his restaurant out west. It’s off Norton Rd in the plaza behind the black n yellow taco truck(Which he also owns). If you like mexican seafood check it out!

I am giving this four stars because the only thing I have tried there so far has been incredibly good. It was like walking into a hole in the wall place just off the beach in some small Mexican fishing town. I judge seafood restaurants on their soup. If they pay attention to this, they pay attention to everything. The Caldo de Pescado con Camarones(Fish broth soup with shrimp) was perfect. The huge bowl of broth was deeply flavorful with that orange tint that speaks of shellfish shells in the preparation. In it were tons of fish and shrimp. The fish was tilapia. Both the fish and shrimp were incredibly fresh. It is served with a dish of additional condiments: cilantro, onion, jalepenos, and, strangely but wonderfully, rice Also, a full steamer of tortillas. This is a whole meal and you will be sad when it is gone. If you like Phở, you will love this. The chips served before the soup were only ok but the salsa very, very good, without heat. You add your own if you like. As a former chef, it was fun to watch their chef at work in the open kitchen. Everything on the menu seemed authentic and watching him work I am sure they are fantastic. I will know soon as I plan to go back next week. I will update then.
