I have been here a couple times with people from work and the food is not great. Both times my dishes has a weird flavor and while the pork in the Singapore noodles was good, the shrimp that came in it was awful. I will not be coming back here. There are many other restaurants in Columbus with much better quality foods.

I’ve been going to Mark Pi’s for many years — both in Greenwood and Columbus. It’s good. Mark Pi’s uses better quality and fresher ingredients than most local places. Better meats and better veggies. Everything is fresh and well cooked. The atmosphere in Columbus is excellent. There are attractive aquariums inside. After your meal you can walk a lap or two in the largely empty shopping mall. My favorite is Singapore Noodles, some veggies, several meats with a mountain of fine rice noodles with curry. There’s a bit of heat, but not much and I love the flavor. The pan fried noodles are good with a heavy wheat noodle and a very mild sauce with meat and veggies. The Hot Sour soup is the best I’ve had — nothing else compares. I had it last week! For something different try Teriyaki Chicken, which is chicken, veggies, and rice, but the chicken and veggies are not mixed up and stir fried. You get chicken with a side of veggies and a side of rice. Simple, tasty, and different. They are generally willing to make anything you want, even a dish that’s not on the menu. I need get Egg Foo Young about once per year, which is not on the menu and that’s great too.

Me and my Wife like it very much. The service is super fast compared to others. We always order noodles with spicy hot sauce. It is not best chinese food. But you can say best in columbus.

This is not Chinese food. This barely qualifies as Amerinese. Better Chinese food comes out of boxes and freezer sections everywhere. I would very much like to kick Mark Pi in his China Gate for slinging this extra boring blah. Not cool, 3.14159265359. I expect better from my non-repeating numbers.

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food, this should be your last choice. The restaurant décor is great, the service is good, but the food… This is some of the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The Sichuan flavored dish tasted as sweet as BBQ sauce — Are you kidding? And not spicy at all! Anything on their menu marked with a hot pepper is likely a hoax since the chef obviously doesn’t know what spicy flavored Chinese food should taste like.

Been here countless times, great food with good service. Only complaint is that they do not have any desserts at all.

I’ve been taking my step grand daughter there for a few years now. We both love having Pot-Stickers, and Shrimp fried rice.

Not the best Chinese, but probably the best in Columbus. I grew up eating there pretty often. I enjoyed the Orange Beef and Gang Pong Chicken(which is a really crazy dish — crispy batter-fried chicken in a spicy sweet and sour sauce with Serranos and/or Jalepenos).

I used to frequent this Mark Pi for lunch. I have 2 favorites: Mongolian beef(verrrry good) and the Hot Pepper Chicken(also really good). I’ve tried other items which are all good too, but in the end I always ordered one of the two. Other people I know also have their own favorite. One person always orders the homestyle tofu? Another really like the Chicken with String bean. Hmm oh and it’s not on the menu but you can order Special House Rice noodle. which was pretty good, considering you can’t get it anywhere else in Columbus :)
