The food was way below our expectations. We came in for lunch and some of the items looked as if they’d been out for awhile. There weren’t many appetizing choices for neither food or dessert(cheap vanilla soft serve with some options for toppings). I ended up with only 1 plate: rice, rotisserie chicken, and some lower than average crab rangoons. My husband’s chow mein looked swollen with sauce(probably from having sat out so long). I did not go up for a second plate, which is highly unusual for me. The waiter was friendly which made the experience bearable. We won’t be going back, unless we are starving and they are the only establishment open.

Super cheap chinese food. No, it’s not amazing quality, but it serves its purpose and does it well.

I don’t know why the low reviews recently for this establishment. I’m not going to re-write my old review, but I was on the far west side last week and thought I’d give it a go. Same friendly service, same great selections,(the general tso’s and garlic chicken were my favorites,) same great tasting food, and best price! $ 5.91 for the buffet and drink. Still my favorite Chinese buffet period.

The food was ok at best. We got terribly sick that night. I would stay clear of this place.

The reviews seemed fairly mild, so we gave this older Chinese Buffet a chance to see if it could sway our opinions for the better. I have since come to the conclusion that people probably only come here seeing as the price per person never exceeds $ 6.50 Food quality is unfortunately reflected within that number. Everything tastes old, soupy, and drenched in MSG and Syrup. It really doesn’t matter what type of chicken dish you partake of, because it will all taste exactly the same. The vegetable dishes were not left unscathed, and were submerged in some sort of watery, brown gravy. Hands down the most saddest excuse of Crab Rangoon I’ve ever laid my eyes upon. The sadness factor only got worse when there was NO crab to be found within the Rangoon. Just a deep fried wonton. I stopped back when it was replenished… This time there was substance in the wonton, but it took on more of a celery taste than what most would be used to on the Chinese American classic. I’m going to say it… It’s appalling. With some great ethnic markets nearby and even within a short drive in the Columbus area, the quality should not be this atrocious. This place made ‘Supreme Buffet’ off of Rome Hilliard Road look like a gem. The husband recalled that the place has not changed probably within the previous 15 – 20 years he had stepped foot inside the place. He recalled it’s much more sun-faded, but all the same décor. In fact, when you walk in the door, there’s pictures of the owners with the mayor, but it’s not Mayor Coleman… if that puts it into some perspective. Nope. Can’t say I’d dare step foot back in here again. The mild reviews are a sad cry of desperation on here. Do not heed them.

Sucks. Crab Rangoon had zero crab in it. Food was plastic tasting. Just all around had a heavy greasy feel. Would not go back again

Food was disgusting. And you are forced to eat it or they charge per pound of the garbage(food) thats wasted. Never going back

Bad. So gross, the buffet offerings were so unappetizing. Only thing I could find decent was sliced fresh cucumbers and the Sweet & Sour Chicken pieces. I should have expected this from a Chinese Buffet on the West Side. What pisses me off is I am a fan of Mark Pi’s other restaurants(Express). I have never really had a bad meal at an Express, when I walked in today and saw the buffet, I was shocked.

I wanted Chinese food, one of everything. It was one of those days. So I decided that a Chinese buffet was the only way to go. This one was closest to where I live, so I decided to try it out. The price was cheap at about $ 7.50 per person it was more than reasonable. When we got inside though, I realized why it was so cheap. They did not restock many of the foods while we were there, and it was clear that the décor had not been updated in several decades. The food quality wasn’t terrible and it definitely satisfied my Chinese food craving, but it was far from the best food in the world. They were prompt to take away our empty plates and keep the restaurant clean which was nice, but overall, I was far from impressed.

After a couple hours at Chuck E. Cheese’s next door, my two sons and I had worked up our appetites. It was either swing by a fast food place on the way home or stop in and check this place out. The time was about 8:15 pm, and as a savvy buffet veteran I did wonder about the freshness this late. However, the posted hours said they were open until 10 pm, the kids wanted it, and buffets are convenient when you have a 3 year old and 7 year old who love Chinese food. I wish I would have trusted my instincts. You could tell most of the items had been sitting quite a while. Some of the items like the mei fun noodles evaporated almost all of the moisture and were crusted out about 3 inches all around. The deep fried items had begun to harden as well. Luckily the steamed rice was soft and the rotisserie chicken was decent. It’s also strange that there aren’t soy sauce bottles at the table, and instead one communal bottle in the buffet. The hot pepper oil container was virtually all oil. The price is very cheap, but I wouldn’t pay any amount of money for what was available on this evening. It may be a good value during peak lunch and dinner times, but there’s no excuse to serve this quality of food almost 2 hours before closing.

Food buffet bar was perfect. All though it was not many dessert options to choose from. Amazing customer service. Mens Restroom needed attention.

Picked this place for dinner over options in Hilliard due to it’s rating. I did not enjoy my meal, but my fiancé did. The white rice I had was hard and crunchy, not a very wide selection, and food was not very fresh. The plus side, only $ 6.25 per person, fun atmosphere and décor, and the crab rangoon was good. I will not come back to this restaurant.

With a name like«Feast of the Dragon», how could i even consider anything else that popped up on Unilocal? I was over in Hillard with the kids — chinese buffets are our guilty pleasure when my husband isn’t around. I want to give this place 4 stars, but the service was sucky. The ambience was pretty fantastic, well decorated with vibrant colors. The food was so good. There was alot to choose from with a healthy range in flavors. The crab ragunes and hot and sour soup were the only gripes — overall great chinese buffet.

I go here every once in awhile with my dad for a quick and inexpensive lunch. Not as many options as most buffets, but mostly everything is pretty tasty. My favorite thing they have are the teriyaki wings… the wings are bigger than most wing places even serve and the sauce is great. I usually get at least one plate of all wings when I go, haha. Is it my favorite Chinese buffet? No, but for $ 5 it really can’t be beat, and I will keep coming back.

I had a helluva time finding this place but once here all was well. It sits way back off broad street, near Target. Anyway, the food was GREAT! Better than great. It was all hot and tasted like it just came out of the wok. Everything I tried, I liked. And I tried a bunch of things, some spicy, some not. And the amazing thing about it was the price; $ 5 and some change. That’s amazing to me, especially when you consider the quality. If it wasn’t a forty mile round trip I’d go again tomorrow.

These reviews are outrageous. OMG people getting sick. I’m so glad that has never happened to me. Food that doesn’t taste good or to hard– I didn’t experience that at all. What I like about this place is that it is not that expensive and if you feel like it eat all you want. Almond cookies too I love them… very different from an American cookie.

Let’s start with a downer: Kids don’t eat free – they cost 80¢ per year. But, the silver lining in this is that their price tops out at about age 7, because adult prices are $ 5.25 for lunch and $ 5.88 for dinner. Make no mistake: I can be bribed by ridiculously low buffet prices, and I most certainly was guilty of corruption in this case. The rating would still be no more than 3 stars if the food was typical AmeriChin fare. But, not all of it is. The pepper chicken had flaked red pepper, sliced jalapeños, and those rubbery little whole red peppers that surprise you when you bite into them. AND, the General Tso’s chicken had some of them in it, too! Plus, the green beans and onions in the various dishes are little crisp(no, that wasn’t a typo), just like they should be. So, if you’re the kind of person who thinks that AmeriChin buffet food generally tastes like Malt-O-Meal, you should check this place out. And, at this entry fee, if I’ve led you astray, your time in the monetary penalty box will be brief. — — — — — - Oh, yeah, I almost forgot… much of the time, great 50s/60s/70s albums are playing(ex: Roy Orbison Anthology, Best of Lovin’ Spoonful, a late 70s live Bee Gees album, etc.). ANYTHING would be better than the usual Oriental torture music, of course, but whoda thunk great classics like these would be the substitute?! This nailed down the 4th star with a pneumatic gun. PS– There’s enough hot Chinese mustard available(in a big squirt-top mustard bottle) to vaporize a T. Rex’s sinuses. ****

This is my favorite Asian buffet. They have a good selection of food, prices are good for the food. Quality here is above Asian buffet(if you need details read my review there), they have a number of better dishes, ones that i will actually eat. The waiters are nice and polite. Friendly staff and good food. For the price they ask, they by far are the best buffet I have been to in a long time. I have never gotten cold, under or over cooked food from here. I recommend this place to anyone who likes Asian buffets. My favs. Mongolian potatos, garlic chicken, mongolian beef, spicy chicken(new), lo mein, and fried rice.
