I’m torn between a 3 and a 4 on this McDonald’s.
First, the good. The fries were piping hot and perfectly salted. The pop/​soda/​whatever you choose to call it was perfectly mixed; the syrup and carbonation was right on target. Also, the drive-​thru was practically empty at lunchtime on a Friday, which I appreciated.
Then, the bad. One of my chicken nuggets had a hard/​chewy/​gross piece in it. Biting into anything meat-​based and finding something of a different texture is always going to be pretty disconcerting. It was kind of difficult to eat them after that. It’s sad, because the rest of our experience was great!
Overall, quick, efficient, and good. Would come back (although hopefully I find time to eat real food soon and don’t have to eat all of this fast food!)
