I love this place! Is it the neatest, best-organized store? Nope. But Ollie’s is so completely unpretentious, poking fun at itself in its own ads as if it were Cinderella’s less-attractive step-sister. There’s always something interesting, and I’ve saved a ton of money shopping here. Yes, both the ambiance and the neighborhood leave a lot to be desired, but I always leave with several bagfuls of stuff. And what can I say — I love cheap prices! It also reminds me of Big Lots before they used to be called Odd Lots, which Is a plus for me. If you like saving money and don’t mind that you never know what you’ll find, come on down and give this place a try.

What can you expect from a store with a sign stating«Good stuff cheap»? A rather large mix or in some sections a mess of items. If you dislike perusing somewhat tight aisles, then this won’t be your bargain outlet. But the books are worth going through. Overall, I felt like this was a good place to buy your white elephant party gift.

This definitely is one part Odd Lots, a little bit of Marc’s, and a smidgen of Half Priced Books. Tighter, and more disorganized than all the stores I mentioned. If you like cookbooks, inspirational books and kitchenware, it’s a chance you’ll like this store. There is a good amount of other stuff — bedding, rugs, small furniture, toys — it really is like a low budget, scaled down version of Big Lots. There is ample parking because they’re almost the only store left in this shopping plaza. If anything, it’s worth checking out the book section, there is a good variety to choose from. Almost forgot, there is also a small As Seen On TV section too. I think it’s worth stopping by and looking around.

It’s an okay place to go. It seems like a messier version of a Big Lots. Pillows. Books. Random items. There’s a bit of everything. They don’t have an «electronics» area per say. There’s an aisle that has some odds and ends perepherals, but nothing that looks like quality items. I can see going here for a few stocking stuffers or a cheap item here and there, but I certainly wouldn’t frequent this area. Most of the stores nearby are gone so there’s not much draw, other than the bowling alley. Overall, an okay place to go.

Wow, someone told me this is like an old version of Big Lots and they were right! Great deals, but the place was kind of a mess. Lots of books at this location, and lots to look at in general. I wish I would’ve had some more time to browse the store, I think you can easily spend an hour or two here.

I love this place. I have been visiting Ollie’s in other parts of the state and was excited to see on come to Columbus. I go here to find a few cheap things and always walk out with more than I plan to get. Yes, some of the stuff here is cheap and of low quality but some of it is pretty good. I can buy GLAD trash bags for $ 2 – 4 cheaper than other places. It is similar to Big Lots but they have some awesome deals on brand name items that Big Lots doesn’t have. I like how some times they have certain items so coming here can always been an adventure to see what they have. They also have a great book section along with some boxed food. Items I buy here include: trash bags, shampoo, soap, cleaning supplies, games, random books, granola bars(under $ 2), Granola(Under $ 2), Olive Oil, Vinegar($ 1), 19 oz Mixed Nuts(under $ 4), energy saving light bulbs($ 1.25 a piece). And they have free coffee which isn’t great but it is free.

Ollie’s is just like a Big Lots, but i think it has more stuff. Kind of cluttered, disorganized, but i like that. You find all kinds of goodies under things then spend another 10 mins trying to find the rest of them… I ended up buying a bunch of cook books. How can you beat $ 2.99 or $ 5.99. I pay more at Half Price Books.
