Olympic Gyros

I tried the 3 piece fish dinner again for 9 dollars & I was impressed how the fish tasted. It tasted good. The salad was delicious. I told them the workers/​staff how I wanted my salad & they did what I told them. Perfect customer service.

I made an order for delivery and after waiting an hour I called to check on the food. They said they didn’t have a driver any more but another driver had just arrived and the food was almost out and would be headed my way soon. After waiting another 45 minutes I called and checked again and they said it was headed my way. After a total of two hours after I had made the order for my food and they had already charged my card they said the food was messed up and it wasn’t coming. They never called or offered to make a new order. I will never order from Olympic again!!!

I called wings in advance. I still waited for food when I picked it up. They did not cook it as I ordered. Strike 1. Strike 2, the wing sauce was extremely greasy (Must be from deep fry, not sauce itself)…too much grease. The good thing was… the wing was pretty big, not small like Rally’s wing.

There’s nothing homemade or authentic about Olympic Pizza & Gyro — this is a «buy out of the box» location. You say you want to start a Gyro franchise and pick a few items from a catalog and ta-​da, Olympic Pizza & Gyro! I even spotted a few advertisement posters for pita that hang in another Gyro shop across town. Interestingly enough, they seem to be worn out in the exact same spots.
Olympic Pizza & More isn’t terrible and provides a much needed break from the burger and chicken chains around the area. The gyros are just a step below Apollo’s. I didn’t get to try the Stromboli that a friend ordered, but it smelled delicious! And by smelling delicious I mean covered in garlic.
The entertainment value at this drive-​thru Gyro shop is worthy of 5 stars. I’m fairly certain we were witness to an underage hooker being picked up and dragged to a car by her own mother. On our way out the guy behind the counter apologized for the neighborhood. Dude, no need to apologize!
Note, there are multiple signs that alert «Check your food before you leave» and «No cash refunds». So make sure to follow those rules.
