Great pizza place. I’ve been to this one and the one in Grandview, and the one here was much better. Owner was super nice and talked to me about the pizza. It’s a 100% provolone pizza. Provolone usually tastes better than mozzarella, unless if the mozzarella is grande in which a 50⁄50 provolone mozzarella would be the best. I’ve never had a full provolone pizza before and I really liked it. The only possible downside to this place are that it was VERY difficult to find. It’s basically on riverside, but you can miss it because it’s on the backside of a building.

Excellent pizza. I mainly go for the pepperoni. Never disappointed. Not always the fastest or cheapest, but way better than any of the chains.

2 ½ stars. The pizza is fine. It’s convenient if you’re headed to the daily growler. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get this pizza. They don’t have fresh mushrooms and sausage is not crumbled. Sauce is okay. The hot peppers taste fresh

Gave our pizza away to wrong customer. Replaced it with a new one and then still made the complete wrong order. Pizzas were cold and staff was rude. I called and complained and the man raised his voice to me and hung up the phone. DONOT support this«local» business. Hey do not take care of their customers and refuse to make anything correct.

We decided to go back to Panzera’s in UA, a favorite of ours from the past after getting awful pizzas from two other established UA places. We had a perfect pizza tonight from Panzera’s, served by a friendly guy who cares about customer service and serving great pizza. If you are looking for delicious pizza and like to support small businesses instead of those huge pizza chains, Panzera’s of UA is the place to go. Other reviews mentioned parking problems, but they have parking places clearly marked for Panzera’s less than five feet from the door!

I’ve found my go-to pizza joint in UA. This place is as tucked away as you’ve read on other reviews, but it’s well worth the effort to try to find it. The pizza was delicious. Don’t have a suggested improvement to make. 1) Call to place your order 2) Go pick up your pizza 3) Take pizza home and eat it. 4) Congratulate yourself for getting a great pizza.

Panzera’s earned a try for my weekly Friday night pizza. This location is hidden on the backside of a strip mall off of Riverside Dr right at the intersection of Fishinger. So note: Parking can get crazy. especially with the opening of Daily Growler. You may be driving around for a quick minute. The inside is so tiny… This is a carryout only, so not dine in spots for locals looking to chill. Not that pizza places need to have ambiance or anything, but man this place almost felt like it was falling apart. We ordered a Cheese pizza and a meatball sub. The Ugly: The Meatball sub had this weird sweetness to it. They claim they make the meatballs in house, which Kudos to them, but I totally did not dig it. Another Ugly: Infamous Unilocaler BBJ once explained a pizza to be «White as a baby’s a**» at another pizza establishment… And this pizza unfortunately was just that. It was a tad undercooked for my likings crust wise. Unilocalers may want to request«well done» when ordering, because that was my main disappointment. Other than that. The toppings, sauces and everything was spot on perfect. I’d definitely return. I know this place can do better from the other reviews I am reading, which is why I’m keeping the stars at «A-OK!» Another time, Panzera’s!

Tried to order online via Unilocal but no menu items are available for delivery. Headed to original Panzeras in Grandview, by car. Bummer

Yummy! This small pizza joint is run by a friendly hard working local family. can’t go wrong with the pepperoni as others have reviewed. Great quality for the price. Expect thinner rectangle cut pizza with fresh tasting sauce and nicely crisp crust and cheese. Will be back, its always nice to find a nice local small business establishment to support!

The best pepperoni pizza around! Every time I call they are able to have my order ready in under 30 minutes and are spot on with their timing. I have never had to wait longer than expected. The staff are nice, attentive, and quick. The pricing is great for the quality you get. The only downside is the sometimes the parking is limited. Just thinking about this pizza makes my mouth water!!!

I disovered this place recently and liked it a lot. I’m surprised by the interesting mix of reviews about this place here on Unilocal. I agree that the guy who owns Panzera’s Upper Arlington is nice, works his ass off, and is friendly and always in a good mood. I agree that his pizza is REALLYGOOD. Thin crust. Crispy pepperoni. Good cheese. Acidic tomato sauce like my Italian grandmother used to make. I agree the place could be a little cleaner, but hey, I’ve never rated a carry-out pizza joint based on their sparkling floors, so who cares?!? I DON’T agree with the food being lousy, because the pizza is wonderful. The meatballs in the meatball sub seemed to be from GFS or Sysco food service, not homemade, and not great. I won’t re-order the meatball sub. I DON’T agree that they have horrible customer service. It’s run by a nice, friendly guy who clearly appreciates my business. Is the pizza better than the Panzera’s location in Grandview? I don’t know and I don’t care. The pizza here is REALLLYGOOD, and it’s close to my house and I’m not going to drive to Grandview even if the pizza might be 10% better there. Love Panzera Upper Arlington’s pizza. Love their location. Like the owner a lot. A few things worth noting: DELIVERY — they only have a delivery guy certain nights(Wednesday — Saturday night?), and it costs $ 3.00. If you’ve been drinking on Friday or Saturday nights, definitely spend $ 3.00 instead of $ 10,000.00 on a DUI … PRICES — they are cheaper than the 2 other good local pizza joints in Arlington(one starts with an «R» and one with a «T»). LOCATION — funny location«around back» in the little shopping center with the Greek place and the pet place at the northeast corner of Fishinger & Riverside Drive. Literally around back. Use your GPS or just drive around back and you’ll see what I mean. CARRYOUTONLY. No dine-in. I’m going to order pizza from him 2 – 3 times per month. Good stuff.

I picked up our pizza & sub — and saw that the shop is messy and not very clean. But hey, great food can come from a dive, right? Not this dive. The pizza and sub were both bland. And even though the friendly clerk asked if I wanted my crust crispy, it was very soggy and limp. Even though it’s close to home, we’ll keep driving further for better food.

Horrible customer service for a pizza place that is WAY better in Grandview. The guy that runs this place under-estimates on times, when you call for delievery he suggets you come pick it up instead, etc. Not worth it.
