Great environment with everything you expect in a good pub. All the food is good, but the wings are among the best in the area.

Atmosphere is fun and the service is good! Food is alright and there isn’t a ton of seating for games.

For the past year I come here to watch football on Sunday’s and random nights of the week to watch other sports. If you’re looking for good service it is hit or miss. Grace is an amazing waitress and so are a couple others. Brought a couple hockey members in after a game Sunday night and it was like a high school hangout spot. No one approached us and when we asked for food we were told in a snobby way«kitchen closes in 30 minutes» we had to go to the bar to order a water! Don’t be fooled by the special $.49 wing day Sunday because obviously their staff Sunday night is a joke. If you want to feel 14 again go here at night

My friends and I got to Pastimes every Wednesday evening for pub trivia(part of Columbus Trivia Challenge). It’s always a great time. The food, however, leaves something to be desired. Being that I go almost every Wednesday, I’ve had the chance to really sample the menu. The only things worth getting are the buffalo chicken dip(the dip is great, the chips are not) and maybe a personal pizza. Other than that, everything else is rather«meh.» The trivia is enough to keep me coming back though… even if I do only eat some cheesy fries.

WhT a fantastic time we had Wednesday. The Giants won the series, of course, but the atmosphere and the staff were awesome. Wes and crew are attentive and great company. Recommended for sports viewing and trivia night. In all honesty, Wednesday’s special of fried bologna was a bit of a shock to my West Coast system, but the tater tots were fantastic!!!

Nice sports bar environment. Nice wait staff. Ice cold drafts. Tater tots were cooked perfectly. Italian sub was baked too long. Cheese balls were cooked too long… cheese non existent in many. Hummus dip made too thick and full of peppers. According to our friends with us they stated the wings were large size and good and the burger was good. Next time we will eat elsewhere before we go.

Nice patio and good beer selections. Some local came up and sat at our table. He was unwelcomed but didn’t take the hint. Proceeded to stay for 30 mins and burped and passed gas at the table. DISGUSTING. Shows the type of people there. Eat at your own risk

Been a few times with my husband but had horrible service one too many times. Bartenders only seem to pay attention to regulars and food is meh bar food.

I’m not gonna lie, I want to like this place. I live right next to it, the prices of food and booze are very fair. However the quality of them are average at best(minus the wings which are pretty good) first thing is first, I frequent this place to watch the games and grab some cheap beers, BUTTHESERVICEISTERRIBLE! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone in there and been ignored. Multiple times I’ve waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. The bartenders are ok, but the waitreses are bottom of the barrell IMO in terms of personality and ability to do their job. I can assure you, as a server myself, smiling and acting like you want the job is half the battle. Its a shame because the place could be a gold mine if they tried harder. I feel like unless you’re a regular, no one gives a crap about you

One of Worthingtons best kept secrets. Good beer selection, good bar food and great service. I stumbled upon it a few months back and now make a point to eat and/or drink there once a week.

In my hunt for places with wifi around Polaris that have beer and food — this was a winner. Went for lunch for an intern’s first day, and at the request of a PM who loves the place. I was pleasantly surprised — the food is bar food, so not exactly anything that would wow me, but the service was attentive and fast, the drinks cold, and the wifi free. Definitely will make a point to return.

The name Pastimes reminds me of Grandpa Simpson, sitting in his chair, talking about stuff that happened way before we were born. Then he forgets who we are or why we’re there. I think Grandpa Simpson works at Pastimes. My friends and I come here pretty frequently for their Wednesday night trivia competition. We always order a little something to eat, and Grandpa Simpson always gets something wrong. It’s become an inside joke for all of us, because we can never get all of our food 100% right. One week, it was a burger missing the toppings we had ordered. Another it was unrequested mushrooms all over our pizza. Frequently, the wrong beers are delivered. The best time was when I ordered the tacos. The waitress asked, «Soft or hard?»(That’s What She Said, bro high-five!) I ordered the hard. I was brought, inexplicably, a single massive soft tortilla, folded burrito-style and filled with taco meat. Neither hard nor taco. You know what? We don’t care. We just roll with it and see what Grandpa serves up next.

I’ve only been to Pastimes once, but it was sure worth it and I plan to head back soon! Two weeks ago, one of my best friends recomended going there to watch The Ohio State University v. Wisconsin game. I took him up on his offer and we had a blast! This bar used to be called Gary’s and I never really gave it much of a chance, but it’s Pastimes now with a different owner. They’ve got a great menu with great wings and fun sports bar food. They also have a fully-stocked bar. The night I was there it was kinda crowded and noisy, but that was due to it being game night and a big game. They’ve got three projection TV’s as well as other smaller flat-screen TV’s. The bar also has a nice pool table and an outdoor cornhole area. It’s alot of fun!

My husband and I are Pastime fans now. It is a great place to watch sports… TV screens ever where. The place is bright n clean. Lots of places to sit. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is very good.

This place just opened(it used to be Gary’s Place). I’ll start by saying it is a really good atmosphere to watch any sporting event. It’s a great local spot in the Worthington Polaris area for those of you who want to avoid the downtown crowd. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have a good variety of food(lots of bar food, but some healthy things too). They also have great drink specials too. There’s always a draft special and I have to admit I always love a good shot special. I’m definitely going to be frequenting this place more often since it’s so close to home.
