I ordered my last pair of glasses from the Pearle Vision inside the Polaris Mall three years ago, and they closed shortly afterwards. The store in the surrounding shopping center remained, and they have taken care of me ever since.
Those glasses — a pair of inherently fragile rimless spectacles, a style known for the past few years as «Sarah Palin glasses» — lasted so long because of this store. After every month of abuse, they would greet me with a smile and some friendly conversation. They tightened my screws, unbent my frames, and even repaired them after they survived a car collision!
I have always received excellent customer service from friendly sales associates from the Polaris Pearle Vision. (Only four stars because I wish the optometrist and store accepted my optical insurance…)
