Amazing store! Employees were wonderful and very knowledgable. HUGE crystal selection which was a joy to go through.

Do NOT come here… if you have a weak spot for jewelry! They have SO MANY nice, unique pieces that you will not find anywhere else. And the ladies at the counter are nice and very knowledgeable about the names and properties of each stone. We were there for a long time looking at their stuff, and I ended up buying three pendants that will bring me lots of enjoyment.
They also have the usual suspects: books, tarot cards, stones, incense… HUGE store.

I visited this store for the first time yesterday. I was surprised at how large it was and what a vast selection of merchandise they had. I didn’t find a whole lot that interested me though, and the prices were high. Some of the items I was interested in didn’t have price tags on them. I wanted to find some mala beads but they only had two different kinds. They were both pretty expensive for a string of wooden beads. I counted the beads on one set and they didn’t even have the right number. The stones were cool and we bought a geode that was really pretty when we cracked it open. I might visit this store again, even though it didn’t completely live up to my expectations.

We came from Cleveland for a workshop held in Dublin. The speaker was Mastin Kipp and new up and coming spiritual leader. I did a search on Unilocal for metaphysical/​stones and found Pearls of Wisdom. What a gem no pun intended ;) from books to candles, statues and their selection on stones was amazing! From simple tumbled to large geodes and those rare stones that will send you to another dimension! The staff was knowledgable and very accommodating. Overall great balanced energy now matter what faith you follow. I truly enjoyed my experience and love the softball sized Merkaba I purchased! Thank you POW for anchoring the light and doing what you do!

This is my happy place. I’ve sat on the floor for hours looking through piles of Alex Grey books. This is where I purchased «Art Psalms» and a BUNCH of spirit animal guide books, chakra books, and crystal guide books. Their incense smells so amazing and they have a great selection. They also have a bucket they let kids pick stones from-​their stones and quartz selection is great, and they have info cards that describe what the stones do. The people who work there are very nice and helpful, too. Love it here.

The selection of crystals and gemstones is great, the used book section good/​affordable, the meditations held there weekly are free (which is respectable!) and the counter people are always totally totally nice. This should be in heaven! So why am i not in love?
The person who owns the place whom I have interacted with on multiple occasions seems to be going through some sort of issues that manifest themselves in a holier– than –thou –super-​guru attitude that pees all over my parade. I feel like i have to cleanse every crystal i buy from there just to get out the owners ego out of it.
Seems like maybe she needs a big ol piece of obsidian, a chill pill and a vacation. Until then though, I’ll be getting my wisdom elsewhere.

Parking. Work it out. Be that asshole who goes 15mph because you’re not exactly sure which cross-​street and is that a fire lane and is this metered or… be that and let haters hate. Because there is a large tree obscuring the sign that says Pearls of Wisdom, so forgive yourself.
First star is for the interior. This is just a generally pleasant and calming atmosphere. They are huge meditators and there is a dramatic shift in energy when you enter the store. Like, if I could get rid of all the shit in my life that I keep even though I don’t need, and paint everything white, and furnish it as sparsely as possible, it would be on its way to being as soothing as this. Incredible energy.
Second star is for what they sell but not on easter for he has risen and there is our witchcraft section, right next to the spell-​casting books. But they do have a nice selection, lots of tarot decks, smudgesticks, whatever you’re looking for to rebel against your parents or whatever the reason. They have a great, great selection. And not the B&N new age nonsense. But things written for the curious that they can’t find other places.
Third star is for customer service. It was quiet. I was not badgered to «check out our new quartz collection» or asked why I was there or generally bothered in any way. In fact, the cashier smiled at me and went on with whatever she was doing and let me wander around and when I asked for help, she gave it, and when I just wanted to wander, she let me wander and soak up the good energy that fills the room. That means a lot to me because in a place like this, sometimes, you need to wander until let yourself be drawn to what you were seeking. Also, I hate chatty salespeople, so this quiet means a lot to me. Because I’m just here to buy some sage and not to make a bff. And when I asked for help, the owner was willing to talk to me about what I was looking for.
The candles. Buy them. Build your altar with these candles. I cannot burn anything else now. These are the purest candles I’ve ever used.
I always recommend this store anytime someone tells me they’ll be in Columbus or they live near Clintonville. I always recommend this store, if only to feel the energy and be curious for a couple of minutes.

I call this place «The Rock Store.» Anyone who knows me, realizes that I name things, and I can’t for the life of me remember the actual name of the store, but I can certainly remember its descriptive name.
First and foremost, they do have a lot of books, but I wouldn’t call this a bookstore exclusively — like I would call the Book Loft.
By the windows, they have open bins of bulk stones. You can look through them, find a stone that resonates for you, feels just right, or one that just looks pretty! They have pieces of paper that tell you about each type of stone and what it’s used for energy-​wise. Me? I just like pretty shiny things. The energy manipulation is an added bonus.
The back consists of a really comfy area with couches, incense, art all over the place and generally fun, new age music. I generally can’t relax in a retail store, otherwise I end up sleep-​spending — and that’s never good. For those of you with stronger wills, the couches look comfy. You’ve been warned.
There are, of course, books. They’re generally new-​age topic related, and it’s useful to browse. They have a great selection of tarot cards in that general area as well, so if you wanted to get a deck and a book to help you take a reading, there’s a good chance you can get that all within a few feet. I like physically shopping for books when I’m browsing. Retail bookstores tend to be annoying to me if I know exactly what I want, because they rarely have it.
In the center, they have a fun selection of music CDs that are, of course, related to a new age atmosphere. They do have a wide range: stuff that puts you to sleep, stuff that makes you want to join a drum circle, and stuff that makes you feel like you might have been a wolf or hawk in a previous life — or maybe even this one! Good stuff. I’m not poking fun — but the selection does fall into certain categories. Also, if you like what’s playing in-​store, they can make recommendations based on existing stock. I haven’t been disappointed yet.
They have a space — upstairs or something — where they have classes. Yoga, meditation, energy work — you name it. Never taken a class, but the people seem cool enough that I might consider taking one, if I were interested in any of the topics.
There are other things scattered throughout the store: boxes to safely keep your stones, tarot cards, incense and other random assorted new-​age things; dreamcatchers and sage smudge sticks. On the one hand, this place is totally random — but it all has that new age theme, so it’s okay. Germane.
Did I save the best for last? I do believe so! Around the cash register, where you will ultimately pay for your goodies, you will find display cases. Yes, the hematite stones over by the window are pretty, but the really cool stuff is in the cases. Rings, lingam stones (I bought one, I love it!), crystal balls… all sorts of cool stuff. The stock sells, they buy new stuff, so this store is great to visit periodically. If you go every day for a week, you’ll get bored. If you go once a week or every other week, there will be a bunch of new stuff to explore.
Also, don’t forget the cool people behind the cash register. Something about new age stores and energy work brings out the best in people — or maybe it just brings out the best people. Who knows? All I can say is, the owner knows how to hire awesome, friendly, helpful people and that’s really what you need in this type of store. Good vibes!
If there’s something you like, but you’re not quite sure if it’s the right size, just ask! They have some over-​stock of certain items, and sometimes have exactly what you need. Another cool service is that they will special order. I hate special-​ordering books in a bookstore, but I love ordering items from these guys, because they know what you want, and take the time to make sure they get the right thing.
This store is best if you go in without specific expectations and look around. Something will generally jump out at you. However, if your specific expectations involve music on CD to mediate by, a handful of random semi-​precious stones or a large purple amethyst crystal geode specimen — you’ve come to the right place!

Pearls of Wisdom is primarily an independent bookstore but truly offers so much more. Sometimes I get nervous walking into a spiritual based store, almost like I’m not really one of them. That of course is ridiculous. I had a specific product in mind and the women behind the counter was ever so friendly and helpful. She led me to exactly what I needed based on the information I shared with her.
That took just a few minutes. But I wasn’t near ready to leave. Suddenly I began seeing things I desired for myself and things I felt would benefit friends and family. I saw the new Enya CD, bath salts, candles, jewelery, sage smudge bustles, incense, and of course books of every subject from Wicca, paranormal, angels, yoga, yoga for children, love, etc.
The absolute best part of my experience was after I paid, and we ready to leave. The woman who helped me earlier, looked right at me and said «I want you to have a good day.» I felt like she knew something, like she could see my troubles. Regardless, I felt pretty good after that.

This little shop is pretty darn cool.
Albeit, its a little too on the happy-​go-​lucky and maybe somewhat cheesy side for me, (I’m from New Orleans and have an affinity with Voodoo and Witchcraft. Go figure.) this shop is a real gem for those of you looking for anything from incense to high quality gem stones.
I went there not really knowing what to expect and was pretty excited to see their extensive collection of Tarot cards and occult books. They also have sweetgrass, sage, reasonably priced jewelry and an awesome collection of polished gem stones that come with nifty little information cards telling you the properties of each.
I was ecstatic to have found an affordable piece of Sugilite. And that’s a pretty rare find. I mean, it was SUPER cheap.
The staff was very nice and helpful.
