Friendly service with lots of great options. My grilled veggie sandwich looked great, but was extraordinarily salty. I asked the person taking my order to hold the salt, but perhaps he heard me wrong. On the positive side, the chocolate chunk cookies are not to be missed.

Penn Station is pretty much like any other. You know, you’ve seen one you seen them all. But their sandwiches are usually pretty good and that’s what I came over for today. But I also wanted to try their fries and lemonade. So I ordered an Italian sub, all the options. And an order of fries. The fries were pretty good, if you like salt, which I do. I also got a large lemonade. And while the talk about the being freshly made, I’ll say not on a bet. For one thin the was no pulp. It tasted good but this was straight from a carton, you can count on that. But it tasted okay so I“m not going to penalize the for that. The bottom lin is that my meal cost me $ 11.16, which is about $ 3 more than it should have.

I try to avoid rating chains, but I tried a new sandwich place today and was reminded of how much I love, love, love Penn Station. Their lemonade is amazing, their fries are delicious and most importantly, their subs are my favorite. I like sandwiches, I enjoy subs, but Penn Station has easily been my favorite sandwich shop for ten years. I’ve been getting the Artichoke, no mayo, add mushrooms for about 5 years and it is foolproof. Every time I have it, it’s good. Their pizza bread is also great if you want something simple. The service at this Penn Station is always good. They are always friendly and it’s always clean inside.

A good sandwich, reasonably priced and enough to satisfy the hunger but not too much to make one drowsy for the rest of the afternoon. What sets this place’s product line apart is the open-face approach and the cookie.
