Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Every time I visit this location, it’s like a little game. «What WILL end up in my box when I get home?» Since I wrote my first review three months ago, we have been back several times. My order has not been right a single time since. Aside from the fact that everytime I order more than one meal with spicy chicken, I’m asked if it’s ok if they sub out 1, 2, or the whole box with mild strips, I never get the sauces, ever, and I’m fortunate to get the right side. Tonight it was fries instead of mashed potatoes, although potatoes were clearly listed on the receipt. It’s like a happy surprise. I’m just going to start ordering whatever they want to throw in the bag and call it a day, that way I’m never disappointed when I get home.

Let me start off by saying that I love Popeyes. I decided to give this location a shot. I was highly disappointed. I waited in the drive through for a total of 20 minutes. They gave me my food, which was okay. It wasn’t very hot, and I was given the wrong dipping sauce, side, and drink. The killer part is that there wasn’t any line. Had there been more people, that could’ve justified the wait time. But not this time. I’ll give it another whirl again later. But not anytime soon.

Oh my gosh, it’s back after closing down the street. The chicken is so great, the mash potatoes & gravy is amazing, and lovely staff. Stop by and check it out sometime, you’ll enjoy it!
