The wines are decent, but young, fruit forward wines… The sangria slushy was quite extraordinary on a hot summer day… This is a pleasant stop, and the food is very good.

This place is adorable and super cool. I’ve been wanting to try for a while now, and I’m glad I finally made it out. Wines made in-house and they were very tasty. Great for local gifts. If i ever needed to host a shower it would be here. prefect size! You can also order a pizza from the neighboring restaurants so that is a great plus!

I’m not a wine-drinker by nature, so I don’t really gravitate to wine bars and their ilk. It’s nothing against them; I even enjoy the occasional glass of wine. But I am a beer drinker at heart, and so I only drink wine when others want to. It’s meant that I’ve passed this place how ever many times and not really noticed it. For whatever reason though, last night we popped in after a beer elsewhere. Quail Crossing is in their words, a micro-winery, and they make everything on sight. My girlfriend and I both prefer reds(I like Malbecs, she prefers Cabernet Sauvignon), but we both wanted something a bit lighter. The staff pushed us towards the Chianti, and with good reason: it’s a little bit lighter than a Malbec, and made for a relaxing couple glasses of wine. Then they let us cork the bottle and take it home. Also, this place was very quiet and easy to talk in. I almost might have preferred a bit of background music, but it was very conversational nonetheless, and a good experience. This place might just become a regular in our rotation.

I live close by and am so thankful for QC. It is perfect for an after-work unwind with home-made wine tasting with the option of free delivery from harvest pizzeria next door. The owner Jackie is terrific and always makes me feel like I’m sipping in the comfort of my own wine room :) Just perfect.

I came here with my friend with a groupon, and the staff were so welcoming, it was amazing! Her and I are both recently 21 and we were looking to learn more about wine, and after we explained this to the man serving us, he was incredibly helpful! He talked to us about wine, and told us about the house wines and how they are made and when to order them, etc. I didn’t do this, but I guess people order pizza from Gatto’s across the street and have it delivered to eat with their wine since they don’t serve food here, or you can bring food of your own! Its an awesome place with awesome people!

I recently went to Quail Crossing Cellars with a large group of friends. There was ample parking that was super close to the front door. The two women working welcomed me when I arrived and they made frequent eye contact with me, making sure I had everything I needed. It was fun to bring in carry-out food. It was easy to move from table to table and I loved getting to mingle so easily. I will defiantly return.

Absolutely loved this place. I had 3 different wines and loved all three of them. Extremely nice people were very well versed on wines which you would expect. Because their wines have really cute names they are ready and willing to assist you in the wine that suits your taste. In addition I thought that they were very accommodating in allowing all of us(we were part of a group) to order our food from outside and have it delivered to the establishment. Can’t wait to go back again. Very eclectic, comfortable, great place to go with friends and enjoy some truly amazing wines.

A wonderful place to have a fun evening with friends! I can’t wait for warmer weather to try some more of their peach chardonnay! I had 2 different red wines — all good! Anxious to go again!

I had a large group come on Tuesday and we had a wonderful time. Jackie, the owner and wine maker, is great about helping you find the wine that suits you. There are plenty of choices that are explained clearly and displayed vividly in colorful design. Her day manager, Carolyn, is a breath of fresh air in hosting. Even if it’s your 1st time in the doors, Carolyn makes you feel like a regular. Since I am not highly knowledgeable of wine, I really appreciate that each wine has a description of its hints. I also like that Jackie supports the local restaurants by allowing delivery and take-out food to be enjoyed in her place. I feel at home at this cozy yet modern establishment and look forward to many more Happy Hours. :-)

I had a Chardonnay which was terrible, water served in a plastic cup without ice or lemon, and sat at a window table where the seat was so cold from the lack of insulation I had to use a coat as a buffer. Several others complained about their wine, too. Nice people, cute dog runs around. Many buy food from Harvest and bring it in. Perhaps just go to Harvest instead.

I had such a pleasant experience! My mother and I both got flights to try all of the fruit wines, all of which were great(something that has never happened to me with flights of wine). We spoke with the owner about how she makes the wines, what’s coming up with the winery, flavors she wants to try. Very sweet and well informed lady. And, most importantly, you cannot beat their pricing! Especially considering the quality. Will be returning.

Love this place! I have been here multiple times with friends, family, or solo and the experience is always excellent. Great staff, great atmosphere, and obviously an excellent wine selection. Their selection has expanded my palate from strictly dry and red to include all sorts of colors and tastes. Whenever I stop in I like to pick up a few bottles for my personal stash.

I love everything about this place! The owner and staff are welcoming and incredibly nice, the wine is great, and the atmosphere is even better. What makes QCC stand out is that you can bring food in with you to eat in addition to their bar snacks. We will be frequent patrons as long as Jackie keeps making wine!

Would have loved to try it out, but the girlfriend and I were looking for patio seating on a gorgeous Friday night. Harvest Kitchen was too packed, and so we kept walking north. We didn’t have our«welcome to the neighborhood» free cheese plate that they – apparently – send out to new homeowners in the area, but that didn’t discourage us. They have 34-person patio tables. 2 were open and we thought to head it, as we opened the door, 4 people – who got wine at the bar – left to take one of the two seats. She is pouring someone a flight, and we are waiting patiently. Two other people walked in behind us, and the worker finally looked to us and said«have you been here before?» I started to say«no» and out of nowhere I hear«yes. We can sit on the patio, right, and you will come out?» The owner says«of course.» So there goes the 3d and final table outside. Even though it appears to be a wine bar, and one would assume you order at the bar(like the group of 4 before us did). The worker didn’t seem to care when the girlfriend said«well, there goes the patio, do you still want to be here?» I said no. Pups on the patio? They have 3 little tables? How on earth can you have an event called pups on the patio when you don’t even have enough patio space for more than 9 customers.(Okay, okay, it is 12 at max, but that night 9 was max capacity.) I doubt I will take them up on the free cheese plate with flight offer. I have reserved suspicions about any decent wine made from sourced grapes outside of cali/oregon/finger lakes/michigan/ohio lake erie area/etc. «Strawberry wine» being a hit is all I needed to know, but I wanted to give it a try. Sadly, we didn’t even get that far before being alienated and ignored for a bumptious twosome who meant more than new residents who were willing to go even without the free coupon they felt the need to send.

This is a very cute winery right on High Street. I’ve been there twice now and would go back again. There is a large selection of wines, and the prices are very affordable. It’s 5 $ for a flight of 3 wines or 5 $ per glass. The wine(in my opinion) is just average, and it’s definitely worth the 5 $ price(or 15 $ for a bottle). It’s not the best wine I’ve ever had, but it is very far from the worst. There are plenty of super fruity/sweet wines if that’s something you like. I have tried a few and cannot stand them, but they seem to be a big hit with my friends. Both times I have gone, the staff has been incredibly friendly and accommodating. The first time I went with a small group of friends and after about a half hour, we were the only group of people left. The second time, again we were really the only people in there, which is really nice, though surprising for a Saturday evening. I will go back as it’s a nice quiet place to get a drink with friends, and definitely away from the normal loud, overcrowded, super expensive bar.

What a wonderful place. Just a massive selection of proprietary wines, some are rotated seasonally and as fermentation space allows. A book club is hosted there once a month. Pups on the Patio is every Wednesday, which we really enjoy. Very nice and engaging staff and Jackie, the owner is amazing. Very down to eart and mellow place. I will mirror other reviews and say that for a micro winery, the price is extremely reasonable. Foods can be brought it. Gattos delivers and Harvest can be picked up. I highly recommend it for the wine and Foxy recommends it for the type and quantity of puppy treats!

My wedding shower was hosted at Quail Crossing Cellars in April. It was absolutely beautiful, and the perfect place for a group of 40ish. The venue itself is really unique, perfect for mingling and offers plenty of seating. Plus, my hosts were able to bring in their own food, and we purchased wine from the winery for guests, and for gifts. The wine is great, and we loved supporting local business! My hosts said the owner, Jackie, was so wonderful to work with, and was very accommodating… even allowing us to use her chalkboard sign and items we may have forgotten(serving spoon!). This was the perfect venue for a wedding shower, and I would highly recommend it for private events… and every day wine drinking!

Enjoyed this place. Stopped here after we had dinner at Harvest on opening night. The staff is very friendly. They have cheese boards as well. Fair pricing as well. We got two wine flights and two glasses of wine for $ 20. Overheard one of the staff saying if you want to bring dinner in from Harvest you can do that as well. Might want to double check with them first though.

I like wine, plain and simple and going to wineries has become a weekend pastime. This winery in the heart of Clintonville has been open since September 2013. I live nearby and I am not sure why it took me so long to visit! I made up for it by stopping by twice in one week! Approximately 26 wines are available for purchase. All are made on site by the owner. You can sample 5 wines for 5 dollars or get a glass for 5 dollars. With 26 different wines you will find something that tickles your taste buds. I think I have tired every wine on the menu and found many I like! My favorite is «simple pleasure» the dry Riesling. Wine varieties range from bold reds to dry whites to fruity wine blends.
