Hole in the wall game shop, looks small but has a helpful staff & space for a board game night(on Thursday’s). Neat selection of games & figurines that are hard to find otherwise. Group of people were playing D&D when I went in; someone had just been transformed into a toad, rather unfortunate, but that’s life sometimes… Be sure to check the hours before going over because they’re a bit unusual!

The store owner is very knowledgeable. He can order items and also runs a mean game of DnD!

They are a complete scam, please do not pre-order anything from them online. They will take your money and not ship items. Multiple cases opened up against them on eBay

I don’t know what is going on with this place but I ordered two items from them on ebay. The pre-order item was never shipped. No contact whatsoever via ebay, paypal or direct email or calling the supposed phone number provided. I’ve tried my best to get a hold of these douche bags with no avail. Local resident shoppers, do not support this shop by purchasing anything from them. They have left numerous Ebay buyers stranded with hundreds of dollars lost out of pocket, let this despicable place go out of business by not purchasing any products from them.

These guys are complete scam artists. Do not pre-order anything on ebay from them. Feel free to message me for more information. UPDATE: I would highly recommend everyone who was part of the ebay scam perpetrated by this store file an internet report with . Paypal was able to help me recover my funds luckily but Ravenstone Games is a shameful business regardless. Do not give them your money for any reason.

This place is buried way back on Karl Court. If I hadn’t seen the little sign they put up, I’d have missed it. As others have noted they have a large selection of board games but not what I came for, movies. Drat!

Hard to find, tucked away in the corner like a naughty boy. This place has an unusual smell to it. I was advised not to tell you what it is, as I might get sensored, so I’ll let you figure that one out for yourself. Just be warned. If you are looking for games you have never heard of or seen before, this place has some. The large gentleman behind the counter is willing to help, but his knowledge is more for the miniatures and painting them then the board games, I think. Anyways, he was friendly and let us browse to our hearts content. We must have done at least 5 loops around the same 3 aisles. The guy I was with bought 2 games and spent about $ 50. I don’t know if this is good or not, and I think it was more impulse buy than anything, but he seemed to enjoy it. If you are looking for a hard to find board game or card game, I’d call here to see if they have it. They have some weird stuff here, but it’s nice to see different things(other than what is at your local Toys R Us).

Ravenstone games is a great local gaming store with a little bit of everything. I mainly come here for paints and miniatures and they have a decent selection although they could use a little bit updated stock. They are located close to home so if I need something quick it is convenient. Staff is always friendly. Hours can be strange though but it is understandable for a gaming store.

Ravenstone is good stop if you’re into gaming, but it can be hit or miss. They have an awesome selection of miniatures and actually a huge variety of board games, some of which I haven’t seen anywhere else. It is one of a couple gaming/comic shops where I don’t get that«omgitsagirl» feeling, so that’s always a plus. Also, they have large, well-lit, gaming rooms in the back so that large groups don’t interfere with shoppers. On the downside, popular things are often out of stock. They also don’t stick to their hours very well. I’ve gone a few times well after the supposed opening time and it was closed up tight., so that’s annoying. All in all, a nice place but not my favorite.

I’ll admit it, I’m a gamer. I mean… not one of those cos-play, furry, D&D +7 mace of celibacy wielding gamers… but I enjoy a cerebral challenge from time to time with a group of like minded friends. Yes, I even have weekly game nights at my house to play and try new games… but there are females there, so that counts for something right?! In any case, I digress. In looking for Innovation(a game I recently enjoyed), my interest in gaming stores was piqued. I made the jaunt to the Guardtower on Hague, I drove to Pickerington to find out that The Armoury has closed *sad face* and, because it was close to the office of our Wedding DJ, the fiancée and I decided to check out Ravenstone Games. The first thing one may notice about Ravenstone is that you won’t notice it at all: It’s tucked into a corner of shops, only noticeable by a yellow cardboard sign beckoning intrepid adventurers. As a tip: at least take time to laugh a bit at the presence of both a Distributor of Christian Literature AND a «sloppy seconds» type Strip Joint both within walking distance of the shop. The second thing you may notice about the place – I mean, once you find it, and assuage the fears that you may get shot before walking in – is that it’s almost devoid of human life. In fact, my fiancée and I were in the store for more than 10 minutes before the owner(?) came over to see if there was anything we wanted. Granted, I got another chuckle because he looked like Ted Williams(the man with the Golden Voice!!), but he didn’t do anything to make us feel welcome or even want to come back. Selection is fair/good if your a board/card gamer(though they seem to have an unusual predilection for Mayfair games) and Ted Williams DID cut open a demo pack of cards to make sure they were the right size for our game. Despite this, I don’t see anything about Ravenstone that would make be opt for it over my LFGS or an industry powerhouse like The Guardtower.
