We decided on this place for our annual haunted house, and sad to say, but we were pretty disappointed. I don’t scare easily, but I go to them for the pure joy, excitement, theatrics and awesome production. The good: The line was short. We opt for VIP or fast passes, and this one had really no wait time for either haunted room. The actors did a pretty good job and were dedicated. The bad: It was a little confusing once we got in. We weren’t sure where VIP lined up, etc. If I have to ask multiple times where we should go, that says to me that information flow could be better. It smelled. We both had to go to the bathroom and it was pretty nasty. The whole place smelled old and moldy. Once we got into the first haunt, and all the way through, we felt there were many missed opportunities. Again, it is hard to scare us, but anyone can be scared from the element of surprise, but this place became kind of predictable. The production just wasn’t there especially compared to surrounding haunts. Summary: If this were my first, or if I were 16, this would be awesome. Actors were in character but missed key opportunities to really scare us. If it were 20 $ and no wait, I’d say, «Do it», but I don’t think this was worth 30 $ a piece, even with it being VIP, nor would I think 20 $ and waiting 2hrs would have been worth it.

Went last night on a Saturday evening. Pulled into the lot and at first, thought we were at wrong address because the plaza looks vacant when you first pull up. Don’t be misled. You are at the right place. Line was long so we opted for the VIP tickets. This took us to the front of the line. Once in, the horror begins as you are greeted by the«doctor» as he explains that the hospital has been overrun by zombie patients. Thru the corridors, u encounter rooms and rooms of very scary props and actors. Even the children’s ward was terrifying as the crazy children scream at you as you pass. Once u finish the terrifying asylum, you then go to the carnival house. Trust me, it’s not fun! It’s a 3D mind trip with clowns!!! Freaking crazy clowns!!! This was my favorite part! The décor is so disorienting! Needless to say, when we left we were relieved, and laughing Cus it was so fun, and sweating cus we were really spooked. I give this a solid 7.5! This is great for the whole family. Leave the under 10 at home. Overall this is a solid 45 mins of great Halloween fun, highly recommended.

Phenomenal!!! Awesome!!! Incredible!!! I cannot think of enough superlatives for how fantastic the Columbus Scare-A-Torium is. This is THEBEST haunted house you’ll ever go to. Ever. Period. Ever!!! This is the best $ 20 you’ll ever spend if you like being scared. We’ve gone for years. They’re really nice, very talented people, too… You can find a $ 2.00 off coupon online. If you don’t want to wait in line(which can be long on weekend nights), you can pay an additional $ 10/person to be a VIP and skip to the front of the line. If you(or your kids) are too afraid, they’ll do a Flashlight Tour(for an extra $ 1/person) where a cast member walks you through the fun house and the other cast members won’t scare you. Go. Just go. Seriously, stop thinking about it and GO!!! You have a GREAT time — I PROMISE — and then you’ll thank me. A lot. Go…
