Subway

Ok I don’t like writing reviews for bad service, but this experience nearly infuriated me.
I arrived close to 12:45 to get lunch as I am in a training across and this seemed like a fast, easy and moderately healthy option in comparison to getting fast food from McDonald’s. As it was during the peak time for lunch, there was understandably a line of people waiting for food.
As the line starts moving and it’s finally my turn, the lady at the counter ignores me and proceeds to start making sandwiches from what seems like a list. Finally she sees me staring, or rather must have felt me staring because not once did she look at me, and asks what she could get me while continuing to make the other sandwiches. I let her know what I want and when she asks if I would like it toasted, I reply «yes, very lightly please.» She then puts my sandwich to the side and asks the customer behind me what he wanted. After she starts to prepare his sandwich she starts to put his sandwich in the toaster. I then ask her, «were you not going to toast my sandwich?» To which she replied, «oh you want it toasted?»
After she toasts it for 10 seconds, she tried to hurry up and get me through the line.
I understand that businesses are very busy during lunch, but to not pay attention to the customers you have in the store is a fault in my book. Maybe they were understaffed, who knows, but as someone who is in your store and on a timetable to get food, eat, and go back to work, this isn’t really a ideal situation.
I was going to give it 1 star, but the facility appeared to be clean and I’m feeling generous so what the heck. Another star.

A sign on the door said they could not accept credit cards even they were. Plus, they were under-​staffed.

This is the subway that us closest to my work. Given that I’m trying to eat more salads and constantly forget to pack a lunch you can imagine I find myself here pretty often. I have to admit that it is pretty nice being able to take any sandwich on their menu and make a salad from it.
The food quality is right on par with the other Subway locations I’ve been to, and the quality of service has always been positive for me. I’ll likely continue frequenting this location on a regular basis for as long as I work around here.
